Its almost 2 months living here.. I never thought I would adjust here. Jake and I go along with each other really well. He took me as his sister seriously.
Uncle Eric told not us not hang out together alot . Yup.. I'm used to call him uncle now.He thinks that since we are not the same blood, We might catch feelings for eachother.
Pfft..
That's never gonna happen... We both think of eachother as siblings.. He is a type of a Brother every girl wants..even me
Living here has been really great.. Dumbledor chose right people to take care of me..
But the problem here is How am I going to help Harry???
I was laying in my room thinking about it for hours... 'September is reaching.. that means Harry's 1st year will begin soon. I have to become friends with him... But how???.' 'I'm unfortunately 10, I have to wait a whole year to join.. Who knows if I ever will receive the letter or not.' 'But If do.. that would be 2nd year of Harry.. Should I be friends with Ginny??' 'No.. Her 1st year already will be quite hard... I have no idea what i am going to do..'
I signed and looked out the window. 'Its morning??? I didn't realize I barely slept'. I got up and freshen up myself and went downstairs directly to the kitchen. Debbie was wearing her apron.
"Good morning Debbie" I greeted smiling at her
"Good Morning Ms. Y/n... You are early today.. Did you stayed up all night again?" Debbie asked me slightly scolding me
"What can I do??Its a whole different Universe.. Its sometimes hard to relax" I said chuckling "What were you going to make??" I asked changing the topic
"I have no idea... I was thinking of asking you"
"um....Let's make Chocolate Pancakes!!!!!.. Uncle Eric and Jake both of them like it" I said in cheering tone
Debbie laughed and joined me to make pancakes. While we were making it others came too. 2 batches were complete so Debbie told me to go and eat.
"These are the greatest cakes I ever ate" Uncle Eric with mouth full
"You say that everytime Uncle" I laughed while taking the seat
"He's not wrong... Just look at it.. Feels like the missing piece for our mouth" Jake said eating those. at the same Debbie Came with my Plate
"Well... They do look good" I said agreeing and took 1st bite "Geez Debbie... What magic did you add in these??" I said being impressed with cakes
"You're the one who made them Ms. .. I just Served it"
I was gonna reply. but then we heard a owl screech. It was Jake's owl Suri. She always looked pretty.
"Suri got mails" Jake said walking towards kitchen window
"Must be Hogwarts... By the way.. Honey.. Did you think of anything you are going to do??" Uncle Eric asked me.. I shook my head, Jake came with letters and gave them to Uncle.
"This one is yours" Uncle whispered to Jake
"What year are you in??" I asked Jake
"3rd this year" he said reading the letter.

Uncle Eric chuckled. Jake and I looked at him suspiciously. Jake was sitting next to him so he shifted closer to him. when he did.. he had smile on
"What are you two smiling at?" I asked getting impatient
"You said you didn't figure out what to do.. right??" Uncle Eric said smiling. I nodded quickly for him to continue. "looks like Dumbledor Already made a plan what to do" he said passing me a envelope. When i looked at it, i gasped
"I thought I was underage....How????" I said disbelieved
"Dumbledor must've thought that you need to be in same year as Harry Potter, so he could believe whatever you say" Uncle said being Impressed
"Merlin, We are going to be in same school from now on" Jake said happily
"I'm going to......... Hogwarts?" I laughed... 'goodness.. dream came true'
Time Skip
Uncle Eric went to work.. where??? I don't know. He's a Auror, he says he has to travel few places daily. Jake was getting prepared for school.
And here I was.. still in disbelief that I'm going to a school I've always dreamed of.
I heard a knock on my door "Come in"
It was Jake
"Still can't believe you are going??" He chuckled lightly
"No.. Its really hard to" I signed
"Since the day you arrived..has anything been something you could understand?"
"That's true....but I was wondering something" he sat on the chair next to my bed and gave me a nod to continue
"What.. house i'm going to be in... I mean.. If there's a House all of the Kims went in.. what if I'm not in it??? everyone would judge, won't they?"
He signed " Houses where never really a problem in our family..... that's why there are no mention of any house in the Kim History.."
"But... Is there a house Kims usually go in??"
"Not really... Its either Ravenclaw or Griffindor.. rarely Slytherin .. but never a Hufflepuff.. not once"
"Are Kims not kind people??" I said sheepishly
"We are but.. we got some evilness one should have" he sheepishly replied
We both chuckled
"Look.. it doesn't matter which house you go in.. because from now on.. you still would be a Kim.. and you always be my Little sister.." he said patting my head. I smiled
"What house your pare--" he was giving me a slight glare. I gulped and continued " our parents were in?"
"Mom was Ravenclaw..... Dad was a Gryffindor... I'm a Gryffindor too.. that's why people say i took place after my father."
"Wow.. what house Uncle Eric was in??" I asked curiously
"He was a Slytherin"
"A Slytherin??" I whispered
"Yes... He is the Second Kim in the history who was in Slytherin" He explained
"Him????? Slytherin??? Its doesn't match at all" I said
"That's why I guess people say 'Never Judge a Slytherin' " He laughed
Time skip
Jake and I ate dinner.. Uncle was running a little late..
I was in my room getting ready to sleep
Someone knocked my door.. i went and opened it
"Do you need something Dabon??" i asked him
"Master Eric wants to talk to you.... My lady.. please follow me"
I closed my door and followed him. I always told him to not call me 'my lady' .. he never listened.. IÂ eventually gave up
"here my lady" he open the door of Uncle Eric's Study room
"You called for me Uncle??" I asked peeking my head
"Yes honey.. please come in" I went and sat on the couch
"I have to give you something" He took seat next to me and gave me small black box. I opened it.. There was a hairclip in it
"Its so beautiful" i whispered
"Glad you like it..... it was Irene's.... I kept it safe all this time.. but i guess.. as her daughter.. its yours now.. I did a little spell on it.. Its like tracking.. Promise me you would always wear it."
I nodded "I promise"
"If you are in Danger.. you brain would be alerted.. and if that happens.. my Ring and Jake's locket would shine.. same goes for Jake.. Don't tell him tho.. I never told him...."
"But why are you trusting me with this??" i asked playing with clip
"You know Gringotts right??" He asked, i nodded in reply
"Currently there are 3 vaults under the name of Kims now. There's one under my name.. and others are under the names of Suho and Irene... I gave Suho's vault to Jake.. the locket he has is the key"
"wait., the blue crystal locket??" I said when i recalled it
"yes... I never gave him Irene's vault... there was never a reason to.. but now there is.... You would need it from now on.. to buy your school supplies and everything.... You are going to get her vault.. and the hairclip is the key"
I nodded and looked at the clip 'wait'
"But the diamonds in this are Violet... her color was red" I asked him
"Do you know what houses both of them were in?"
i nodded "Ravenclaw and Gryffindor"
"Irene was a Ravenclaw..but her color was red, that also represents Gryffindor.....same goes for Suho, he was a Gryffindor but his color was Dark Blue.. Ravenclaw's color......Everybody said that they were meant to be together.. She bought this after completing her school. We asked her why didn't she buy a red one?" He chuckled "She said that Red and Dark Blue make Violet.. that's why she bought this one.."
"She was smart.... Just like she should be.. like a.. Ravenclaw" I said admiring her
"She was..." He rested his back on the couch and let out a sign "That night..we were in our old house villa... I didn't knew that Voldemort was coming for the potion.... they knew.... They told me that Jake was getting bored so i should take him out for a walk.. I agreed.. they hid the potion in the pocket of my coat... when i came back with Jake... the... the lights were out.. Jake was crying a lot... I found out why.. when I went inside...they were laying there.. on the ground....lifeless" A tear slipped from his eyes, i quickly took his hand and started stroking it.
"If I knew.. I would never leave them... I regret leaving them.. But on the bright side.. Jake was safe.. I made him and the potion my 1st priority..now you are too... I want to tell you that... Being a Wizard is fun.. but there are some moments.. where you regret it... So.. You never do something you would regret.. its hurts us our whole life... You are great Girl... I know you going to really be great..just be yourself..."
"I never thought you would actually say that to me.. Thank you for sharing... and I want make a promise to you... no matter what happens.. I would never leave Jake alone.. I'll try my best to keep him safe" i said reassuring him
"Try to keep both of you safe" he said playing with hair...."can you do me just one more favor??" I nodded
"I always found girls with short hair attractive.. they give a strong impression.. everytime... I want people think the same for you"
"huh??"
time skip next day
1st person's P.O.V
Debbie entered the living room where Eric and Jake were sitting
"She is ready.. I hope you like it Master" Debbie said to Eric
"We'll see.... I really trusted you for that" Eric replied with a smile
Just then Y/n came down...... her hair looking like this
Eric and Jake's jaw dropped
"Why does it suits you.. this much??" Jake asked her
"i have no idea... Do I look good??" Y/n asked nervously
Eric cleared his throat "you- you do.... really.. good job Debbie"
Y/n smiled and took a seat on the couch
she said to them" I want to ask you something.. I need to have Harry's trust.. that's why I think I should go to Diagon Ally with him"
"What good would that do.. I don't think he knows Diagon Ally and practically you don't too" Jake said raising his eye brow
"Rubeus Hagrid is taking him there.... Uncle I need to.. If I become his 1st friend.. he would listen to me when the time comes..." she said in begging tone
"But Potter is a boy.. What will happen when he gets a male friend??" Eric asked her
"But still... wouldn't he listen and trust the first person ever who became his friend??"
"That's right...fine you can go... but you need to comeback here... and if becomes your friend.. then you go on the train with him too.."Eric said trying to sound strict
"Yeah!!!" Y/n ran and hugged him tightly saying 'Thank you' again and again.
"I thought I would take you there today... but its okay..." Jake said sadly.. Y/n playfully pulled her tongue to him
"but..wait.. I have been meaning to ask you something.. I couldn't bring myself to ask you yet.. but i think i need to ask now.. Can I?" Y/n asked them
Both of them replied with 'of course'
"Everyone in the Kim family had powers right???? how would everybody react when they find out i don't have those???" Y/n said insecurely
Both of were lost for words......'everytime I ask them something.. they have answer for it' thought Y/n
"what??" Y/n asked them crossing her eyebrows
"Uh.. Um.." Jake Gulped "Uncle you say it"
"Listen Honey.. Um.. do you remember the chocolate shortcake we give you once in a while??"
"Yes.. they are really tasty.. you should give me that more often..no wait.. that's not I had to say.. yes i remember.. continue" Y/n said with red cheeks
"Every time we gave you that.. we added 1-2 drops of Kim potion in it...." Y/n's jaw dropped "we actually don't know how it works.. so we just did something we thought that would work"
"If our measurements are right then.. you consumed about spoonful of the potion.. I think that's a perfect amount for a 10 year old" Jake completed for Eric
"You gave me.... Your potion..... the thing.. your family was taking care of.. for years... you let me eat it.....JUST.LIKE.THAT???" Y/n murmured
"Honey.. its fine.... its safe for you.... and its not like anyone would scold us for that" Eric said assuring her
"But.. Uncle... you forgot something.... we need her to prepared for it..." Jake said trying to remind his Uncle
"Prepared for what???" Y/n asked looking back and forth at them
"The news honey.. Of a Kim joining Hogwarts somehow went to a writer.. they posted it... and they have predictions that.. it's a female" Eric said motioning his head to Jake.
"Its in front page" Jake said showing Y/n newspaper
"We thought that.. when you will actually join the school..I will be around to prepare you for popularity.. but... since the news came.. you need to prepare now" Jake said to her
"Just don't tell everybody your name easily.. Just tell the ones you would trust..okay" Eric said to her
"Master, breakfast is ready" Debbie said
"We'll be there" all of them said
Time skip next day
Y/n's P.O.V
Toady is the day I'll meet Harry... I need to be really nice enough.. so he could be my friend...even if i won't be polite.. he still would be..
I was getting ready for Diagon ally.. I got a little bag for keeping money
'oh right..money.....I almost forgot' I ran and got the hair clip. It was my first time wearing it.. 'Uncle Eric and Jake were right about my hair.. I'm starting to like it'. I wore the clip in one side and surprisingly only the diamonds were showing.'cool'
I went down.. Jake was still sleeping on his last day of peaceful Vacation.. Uncle Eric was sitting there reading paper..when he saw me he putted his paper down
"I was waiting for you" Eric said smiling
"Why??? You don't wake up early usually" I replied taking a seat
"You said Hagrid was taking Potter to the ally right???" I nodded " then give him this letter.." he passed me a letter "If he reads this... He'll keep you safe"
"Is there a need to??" I asked him
"yes it is... I wrote this letter so that he could trust you that you are the real Kim everybody has been talking about..make sure he reads it right away" he got up " Lets go"Â He took my hand and bent to kiss the top of my head "Take care ok?? don't forget to eat something there"
"I'll make sure for it" I smiled
I closed my eyes and when I opened them... I was in front of the back door of The Leaky Cauldron. "How did he knew??" I whispered
Harry's P.O.V
I was following Hagrid and somehow everybody knew me 'I don't know why'
"See Harry?, You're Famous" Hagrid told me
"But why am I famous??" I repeated the question I asked myself a while ago "All those people back there, how is it that they know who I am?"
"I'm not sure I'm right person to tell you that" Hagrid said to me and opened a door. When I went out I saw a girl. She was smiling when she saw us. 'Is she a foreigner?'
"Hello Mr. Hagrid" She greeted Hagrid
"Well Hello, but who are you dear??" Hagrid asked her 'He doesn't know her?'
"Um.. I'm Y/n Kim" she said politely
"Kim?" Hagrid whispered
"Yes... Uncle told me to give you this... He wants you to read it right away" She said passing a letter to Hagrid. He took it and started to read it. Me on the other hand, I was still staring her.. 'how should I greet her?? She sounded so polite?'. Just then she looked at me and moved her hand forward at me as a handshake
"I am Y/n Kim... Nice to meet you" She smiled at me. I took her hand and said
"I am Harry.. P-Potter" I replied
"I know.... You're glasses said so" she chuckled
'my glasses??? not my scar?' i was confused. then Hagrid said
"Harry.. a little change of plan.. Since It's her time in Wizardly world as well.. Ms. Kim will join us today.. to buy school supplies.. She is going to Hogwarts.. just like you" Hagrid informed.
"Just Y/n would be nice Mr. Hagrid" She said
"Then just Hagrid is much better" Hagrid said chuckling
"okay... Hagrid" she smiled
Hagrid pulled out his umbrella and tapped at few bricks and then Bricks started shuffling and it transformed into a gate. I was watching all of this in awe. I looked at Y/n and she had a amused face. 'Now I know someone who is new all this too..just like me.. Its great I'll know someone at school from now' I smiled
Hagrid introduced us " Welcome, Harry and Y/n, to The Diagon Ally"
