1st Person's POV
Rest of Y/n's day went light. she and her friends bought all the supplies for their second year at Hogwarts. They had Ice-cream after their shopping, Y/n swore it was the most incredible ice cream she ever ate. Eric had to go Australia, for work . He was upset by it, he wanted to drop his Niece and Nephew to school train. Mr. Weasley had confirmed him that he'll safely take both of the Kims to station with his family. Eric agreed after declining few times.
Harry, Y/n and Jake followed The Weasleys to the burrow. Even though they had stayed there for only few hours, they loved staying there. Mrs. Weasley had made Spaghetti for everyone's dinner. Y/n had insisted to help, at last Mrs. Weasley agrees and Y/n had taught Mrs. Weasley the recipe of Pork & Rice Noodle Soup, which everyone found delicious.
Time skip Next Day
They were Running late. How all them managed to arrive at King's Cross Station right 5 minutes before the train will departure, was a mystery for Y/n. The Kims, Weasleys and Harry went practically running on the platforms.
"10:58, come on!!!" Mr. Weasley announced
"The train will be leaving any moment!" Mrs. Weasley said worriedly
"Fred, George, Jake, Percy, you first!" Mr. Weasley called for them. All four of them ran through the wall. Harry, Ron and Y/n were behind from everyone. They waited for Ginny to go inside the wall. Just she entered Mr and Mrs. Weasley went after her, trying to get seat for their daughter.
"Let's go" Harry said and Ron nodded
"You guys go first" Y/n said pulling her trolley behind them.
Harry ran at wall with Ron and Y/n behind him. His steps were getting faster he was a centimetre close to wall ready to pass through it, but-
CRASH!!!
He crashed into the wall, Ron tripped behind him and fell , Y/n had stopped her trolley right in time.Harry's and Ron's boxes were all over the plat form. Y/n went pick Hedwig's cage.
'Phew!!! I almost got crashed' Y/n thought and helped Ron and Harry to get up.
"Oy!!! What do you two you're doing?" The manger asked Harry and Ron
"Sorry..lost control of the trolley" Harry apologized
"It will not happen again" Y/n bowed her head, the manger smiled at her politeness and walked away
"Why can't we get through?" Harry asked his friends
"I don't know.. the gateway sealed itself for some reason" Ron tapped the hard wall and they heard a bell. It's 11:00!!
"The train leaves at exactly at 11:00!!!! We've missed it!!" Y/n said looking at the clock
"Hey, guys...If we can't get through...maybe mum and dad can't get back" Ron said worriedly
"Maybe we should just go and wait by the car" Harry suggested and Y/n's eyes lighten up. Ron and her looked at each other
"The car!" They said in unison
1st person's POV
All three of us quickly dropped our trunks into the car. Ron and Harry sat in front while I sat in back with Hedwig and Haru.
Ron started the engine. making a huge noise. I patted Hedwig through her cage, she looked scared. The car slowly lifted itself in the air. The car was shaking vigorously
"There we go....now all we need to do is to find the Hogwarts express" Ron said trying his best to control the car
"Um....Ron..Do you know...how to...fly..this???" I asked him nervously
"No problem.....How hard it could be?" Ron chuckled nervously
"Oh.. good god!!" I whimpered wearing my seat belt. When I looked back in front we were almost crashing the huge clock
"LOOK OUT!!!" Harry yelled along with Ron and I. In seconds we were out of danger
'The movie and book Ron flew it almost right....I'm afraid I don't know how this Ron will fly it' I thought gripping my seat belt
"Ron.. I should tell you...most muggles aren't accustomed to seeing a flying car." Harry told him
"No Muggles are!!!" I corrected him
"Uh..right" Ron pressed the Invisibility booster and the car went invisible
After almost an hour, we were in the clouds finding the train. Ron was driving or should I say flying the car correctly, so I sat little eased in the back. But then it seemed the car was visible again.
"Oh, no!!!The Invisibility Booster must be faulty" Ron pressed the button few times.
"come on then, Let's go lower..we need to find the train" Harry said
"Okay" Ron agreed and the car slowly flew downwards giving me butterflies in the stomach.
'oh...hell..this feels good' I thought enjoying the feeling in my stomach. we were now following the tracks. and I sat caution knowing what's coming
"All we need to do is catch up with the train" Harry instructed
"We can't be far behind" Ron said and train's sound. Hedwig looked at me and I stared her back telling her that she's right
"Do you hear that?" Harry said happily
"We must getting close" Ron replied grinning
"hold on" Harry said realizing and Hedwig and I looked at eachother then back
"Look...back..you IDIOTS!!!" I yelled at them and we screamed together. Hogwarts express was so close to the car that it could crush it any seconds. Ron quickly flew away from the train and the car moved vigorously. I sat gripping the seat so I couldn't get hurt. Harry being a idiot he is forgot to lock his side of door and fell outside. he was griping his life out the handle.
"Harry!!!" Ron and I yelled.
"Hold on!!!" Ron said crawling towards him. Harry looked down and saw how deep the lake was.
"No, Harry, Don't look down...LOOK UP!!!!" I yelled instructed him and he did listen to me
"Take my hand!!!" Ron said giving his hand, Harry managed to grab it but his hand slipped back
"Hold On!!" Ron said control the car with his other hand
"I'm trying!!!! your hand's all sweaty!!!" Harry said gripping the handle
"åã !!!!! [MOVE!!!!!!] " I yelled leaving my seat. I went forward and gave my hand to Harry, he grabbed it and I pulled him back. Harry shut the door close and Ron started focusing on driving and we all calmed our breathes loudly.
"I think we found the train" Harry said breathing loudly.
"Yeah" Ron nodded his head
"I believe the train found us" I plumped back in the seat between Harry and Ron.
After few minutes,I rested my eyes close. I could sense that Harry and Ron wanted to say something but they weren't, thinking that I'm taking a nap.
"If you have something to say, ask away....don't sit quietly.. it doesn't suit you" I said with my eyes closed.
"Oh...um" Ron started muttering
"Why were you... speaking a different language.." Harry said and I opened my eyes in a flash
"Different language??? when???" I asked them
"When..Harry fell out the car and you came forward to help him..you yelled something in....I don't know what language" Ron asked driving
"Oh....what langu---" I said trying to remember but then it hit me. "Was it 'åã' ????" I asked them and they nodded
"Yes....something like that" Harry replied
"That...is Japanese... It actually meant 'Move'... " I explained
"Japanese???" Ron asked clearly not having an idea
"You can speak Japanese???" Harry said
'Oh yeah..he might know Japan' I thought and nodded my head
"I won't say I'm fluent..but I know pretty much....and Ron....Japanese is a language of Japan....It is a country in Asia.. Where I'm from" I explained him and he nodded understanding
"I thought....Kim was a Korean Surname" Harry wondered.
"It is...but I know Japanese too....I learned it when I was in Ja---" I stopped myself
'I spoke alot!!!!! think of something, think of something!!!' I thought
"When I was...kept hidden??? HA!!!!! It was when I was hidden..I had lot of time you see" I chuckled nervously. Harry and Ron shared a look and nodded
'I think they bought it....please tell me you bought it' I pleaded in my mind and luckily on time...We saw it....we saw our home, Hogwarts.
Ron, Harry and I were grinning widely...I guessed we were happy to be back here.
"Welcome Home" Ron said grinning
"You too" I smiled happily and then there was a loud clunk and splutter and in few seconds, the engine completely died. The car was dropping now. I took Harry's and Ron's arms and held it tightly. The car was out of control
"Up! Up!!!" Harry yelled and Ron tried to stop the car but nothing happened
"Its not working!!!" Ron yelled frustratingly. Harry went to pull the gear while I helped Ron to maintain the steering.
"Mind That Tree!!!" I yelled from top of my lungs and Ron pulled out his wand and I remembered
"Hey, Ron don-" I was interrupted by himself "Stop! stop! STOP!!" He yelled and with a twig his wand broke. "I told You!!!!!!" I yelled at him and We got crash right in the tree. I ducked myself lower, preparing for the hurtful event.
At first, The car slipped in front and then
BANG! THUG ! CRASH! DROP!!!
We crashed 4 times from the back of the car. There was silence in the car.
"My Wand!!! Look at my wand!!!" Ron whimpered looking at his broken wand.
"Be thankful its not your neck" Harry said and There was a loud clunk behind.
"What's happening?" Ron whimpered
"I don't know" Harry replied and we heard a groan from the tree
"i think we angered it" I said in low-tone and the tree started hitting us with its big branches. 1 hit, 2 hits 3 hits and the car was almost broken. we were screaming trying to keep ourselves safe. Harry and Ron made me duck my head with their hands saving me from the branch that just broke through the back glass. The Tree was thumping itself to every part of the car.
Call it the written luck...The car dropped on the ground after few hits. Three of us looked at the tree to see it backing up to hit us harder.
"Come on! Go! faster!!!" Harry yelled
"GO! GO! GO!!!!!!!" I yelled slapping Ron's shoulders vigorously. Ron drove the car at full speed and parked away from the tree. we were calming our breaths when suddenly, the car's doors open from both the sides. Harry and Ron were pushed outside by their seats while I stayed in my place.
'Why it didn't throw me??' I wondered and the car made a noise. which I assumed was telling me to get out the car. I got out from Harry's sides and helped him get up. we turned to sound of opening something.
The trunk opened by itself and threw all of our belongings. The car moved the back seat and threw Haru's cage. I caught it just in time. Harry and Ron caught there pet's cage as well. the car closed its door and drove away
"The car!!!!" Ron yelled running after it. Harry and I followed him. we ran all the way through the gate and saw the car disappearing in the forest.
"Dad's gonna kill me" Ron said
"Are you sure it won't be your Mom??" I asked and Ron whimpered
....
Harry, Ron and I ran through the corridors inside the castle. We kept kept our trunks and cage's near everyone else's.
"I'll see you soon, Haru" I muttered to him and he replied with a hoot. Harry and Ron ran on the stairs with me following. It was okay for me.. I'm a runner.
"So, a house-elf shows up in our bedrooms, we can't get through the barrier to platform 9 3/4, we almost get killed by a tree...Clearly someone doesn't want me here this year.." Harry said all of this in 20 seconds and we were stopped by 2 pairs of smug eyes
"Well, take a good look, lads......This night might well be the last you spend in this castle" Flich smirked. Three of us looked at each other.
"Oh, dear, we are in trouble" Flich grinned even more

"You were seen by no less than 7 muggles!!!!!Do you have any idea how serious is this??" Snape showed us the Daily Prophet with us in the front page. I was standing between Harry and Ron. I know he is worried for us but this is...little...embarrassing
"You have risked the exposure of our world....Not to mention the damage you inflicted on a Whomping Willow that's been on this grounds since before you were born." Snape scolded us
"Honestly, Professor Snape, I think it did more damages to us" Ron replied and I bit my bottom lip trying to hid my laughter.
"SILENCE!!!.....Now tell me what were you thinking before getting on that car??? Perhaps.. the train was simple for someone as great as Harry Potter" Snape glared him
"It was the only way Professor....We missed our train" I explained and Snape looked at me with a sharp look
"You could've send us a letter which your beautiful owl could deliver to us..Or I think Ms.Kim wants to make her life more entertaining then it already is??" Snape said and I was lost for words...I stood there quietly not daring to say any other words.
"I assure you that were you in Slytherin, and your fate rested with me.. all three of you would be on the train home tonight!!!" Snape looked at dead in our eyes
"As it is---" He was interrupted with a voice
"They are not" We heard and turned our heads to the door
"Professor Dumbledor, Professor McGonagall" Harry said somewhat relief in his voice
"Headmaster....These three have flouted the Decree for the Restriction of Underage Wizardry..A such-"
"I am well aware of out by laws, Severus...having written quite a few of them myself" Dumbledor smiled at him and continued
"However, as head of Gryffindor house it is for Professor McGonagall to determine the appropriate action" Dumbledor stated
"We'll go and get our stuff, then" Ron said with his head down
"What are you talking about, Mr. Weasley?" Professor asked him
"You're going to expel us, aren't you?" Ron asked her and she looked at him with hint of softness in his eyes
"Not today, Mr. Weasley....But I must impress on three of you the seriousness of what you have done....I will be writing to your families tonight..and three of you will receive detention" She told us. We looked at Professor Snape and he glared at us.
Dumbledor, Snape and McGonagall went out the room. Harry, Ron and I followed. While walking Harry suddenly bent near Flich and picked up a letter
'wait??? I remember this' I thought peeking at the letter.

Flich looked like he saw a ghost. He quickly grabbed the letter from him and looked away.
It must feel awkward. I pushed Harry from the back lightly
"Let's go, Harry....Come on" I said and grabbed both of the boy's hand dragging them with me

While walking towards Gryffindor Common Room, All three of our relived. I knew nothing was going to happen, but I acted well...I'm getting good at it. We were outside The Common Room, none of us the new password the new password yet. I let Harry and Ron stand before me knowing damn well what's going to come.
The help came itself with footstep behind us
"There You Are!! Where have you been????!!!!! Everyone is saying that you were being expelled for crashing a flying car!!!" Hermione said glaring at us
"We're not expelled" I said almost immediately
"So, you did came in a flying car??" Hermione went red in anger
"Skip the lecture!! Tell us the password" Ron said impatiently
"Its wattlebird...." Hermione replied without realizing the entrance opened. Harry, Ron and I ran inside in a blink.
"You three----" Hermione's words were cut off by the cheer coming from the Common Room. My jaw dropped by the happy vibes from here
"Brilliant Idea!!! No one came like this...Not One!!!" Lee Jordan yelled cheering. The common room was filled with claps and whistles. Hermione and Percy were not having their moment. I knew Hermione wanted to scold me for letting myself go with boy's plan. But I wanted some fun too.
After we walked in the middle of the room. I met pair of brown eyes glaring at me.
'damn it...I forgot to tell him' I thought looking back at the person. he stomped towards me, the crowd went quiet.He stood infront of me. Harry and Ron gulped seeing the deathly stare Jake was giving me.
"You---- You could've--" Jake muttered and I looked at the twins asking how bad his mood is.They just smiled awkwardly
'Oh....that bad?' I looked back at Jake
"If you planned something like that" He whispered "You could've told me to come along!!" He smiled lightly offended. "It was best idea anyone would get into the Hogwarts..if you told me then the twins and I would with you three...it would be more fun" Jake chuckled
"So.....You're okay???? I almost got...expelled.........and that's what you have to say?" I said disbelief
'I thought he would be worried for me....he wanted come in the car..that's more important?' I thought getting mad
"Are you kidding??? You're one of the best student here...they won't expel you for something like this" Jake smiled "Now..go get some sleep....You have class tomorrow" Jake said and I looked at Harry ,Ron and Hermione.
"I wasn't expecting this" I muttered and three of laughed
"I know...To be honest I wasn't worried that much...These two had you with them..you would handle any situation" Hermione said proudly and I beamed at that
"Thank you Hermione!!!" I hugged her side.
Harry, Ron and I ate few sandwiches that Hermione brought for us. After that, Hermione and I went to our Dormitories, which now showed 'Second Years'Â instead of 'First Years'.
We entered, Patel twins greeted me happily and smiled back. Lavender just ignored me so I did the same. After coming out the bathroom, I saw Hermione sitting on her bed with arms crossed on her chest.
"Hermione....I'm tired....you can scold me later!!" I plopped myself of my bed.
"Its not that.... Was it fun???" Hermione asked and I pulled my head up
"What???" I asked
"sitting in the flying car???was it fun being in it?" Hermione asked eagerly
'She wants to know?? how cute!!' I sat up hugging my pillow.
"It was more of pain if you ask me" I said smiling
"Oh...tell me everything!!" Hermione and both of us chuckled
And with that..My time at Hogwarts Second year begun ..with a whole damn adventure in front of me
