Harry's POV
Ron and I were feeling down because Y/n was upset with us. After her sudden Out-break we didn't saw her. Not even on lunch. when we went to Common Room we thought she'll be there but she wasn't there either. Hermione was no where to be seen either,so we assumed they were together...but where? They weren't the type to miss any class. And We knew what Y/n said was right. Hermione didn't deserved Ron's humiliation.
We were now sitting in the Great Hall which was full with decorations and foods.. for a minute a forgot about what happened after Charms class but then I looked over to my side and then Ron's. The place was empty. That's were Y/n and Hermione's seat.
"Where's Y/n and Hermione?" I wondered loudly
"Parvati Patil said Hermione wouldn't come out the girls bathroom...she said that she'd been in there all afternoon, crying.. and Y/n is stayed with her, comforting her since then" Neville told us and went back to eat.I looked at Ron and he shrugged.
"Is this any of your doing?" we heard a boy's voice. We looked up and saw it was Jake, Y/n's older brother.
"Uh.. Um..." I didn't knew what to say but that's when we heard the door opened loudly
"TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!!!!!!!" Professor Quirrell yelled running inside
"Troll in the Dungeon....thought you ought knew" He said and passed out and we heard a Loud thunder and everyone began to scream and run outside.
"SILENCE!!!!!!" I heard Dumbledor yelling
"Everyone will not panic" He said strictly
"Now..Prefects will lead their house back to their dormitories. Teachers will follow me to the Dungeons" He announced and I felt Percy tap my shoulder for me walk. Which I gladly did.
"Gryffindors, keep up, please and stay alert" Percy told us while we were following him
"How could a troll get in?" I asked Ron
"Not on its own. Trolls are really stupid. Probably people making jokes" Ron said and that's when it crossed my mind. I grabbed Ron's sleeves
"What?" He asked me
"Y/n and Hermione!! They don't know" I said and Ran backwards and I felt Ron Followed me
We ran all the way to the Girl's bathroom and to our surprise we saw a huge creature's shadow.
"I think the troll's left the dungeon" Ron whispered and i grabbed him and Hided behind a wall
"It's going to girl's bathroom" Ron whimpered
Y/n's POV
I felt my soul leaving my body to save its life. I shivered when growled at us. We unconsciously took our steps back when he stepped front. Our backs bumped into the stalls. Hermione took my hand pulled us into the stall. But the troll broke the stall's upper part with just one hit,
I won't lie saying that I didn't scream for my life. But Then I Heard the door open. I immediately signed in relief
"THANK GOD YOU'RE FINALLY HERE" I yelled Smiling but the troll heard it too
"Y/N, HERMIONE MOVE!!" Harry yelled to us
Hermione crouched to another stall while I on the other hand somehow manged to get a away from the troll and be besides Ron. in meantime, that troll broke the stall the was left
"HELP! HELP!" Hermione kept screaming. Harry and Ron took the wood pieces and started to hit the troll. I did the same because I couldn't think of anything else either
"Hey! Pea brain!" Ron yelled and Troll looked at him getting the hit by the piece Ron threw.
'Is Pea Brain his name??--- DON'T THINK OF THAT!' I mentally slapped myself and immediately ran to help Hermione but stopped when the troll almost hit Her
"HELP!" Hermione called for us to help and Harry pulled out his wand
"No, Don't-" I tried to stop him but he already went forward and 'somehow' ended up oh the troll's shoulders. I noticed that the Troll was distracted, I ran carefully to Hermione and tried to help her get away from the troll
We looked up and saw that the troll was horribly shaking Harry and that led Harry's wand into his nose. Ron, Hermione and I groaned in unison. But then the troll caught Harry by his Feet
"DO SOMETHING!" Harry Yelled and Troll shoved his wood to Harry making me dodge as well, Luckily Harry did too
"What?" Ron asked no knowing what to do
"Anything" Harry yelled again
'I've always laughed at Ron in this scene for not knowing anything but now that I'm stuck, I am terribly scared.. this is karma.. THIS IS DAMN KARMA!!' I thought while ducking from getting a hit by this troll
"Hurry up" Harry yelled again and Ron took out his wand
"Swish and Flick!" Hermione and I said in unison
"Wingardium Leviosa" Ron repeated just like Hermione said and He got control of the troll's wood.
That troll got confused and looked up
"DROP IT!" I yelled and Ron dropped it immediately and That Troll got hit straight on his head.
"Cool" Ron Said smiling
"Really Cool" I said smiling at him and looked down "Harry, don't lay there watch him, GET AWAY!" I yelled at him and he did and just in time Harry slipped away from the unconscious Troll. I help Hermione to stand up and we walked towards the boys.
"Is it dead?" Hermione asked panting
"I don't think so.. just knocked out" Harry said and I stood next to him. He bent and took his wand out of the troll's nose.
"UGH .... troll boogers" He said cleaning his wand
"Please make sure to clean it" I said and just then Prof. McGonagall, Snape and Quirrell came in
"Oh my goodness!!! Explain yourselves.. three of you" She pointed us
'Three???... wait no---'
"It's my fault Professor McGonagall...." Hermione said and I widen my eyes at her
"Ms. Granger?" Professor asked her disbelief
"I-Its mine t-too" I said and everybody looked at me
"No.. not her's.. just mine....I went looking for the troll. I read about them thought I could handle it..." She looked down. "Y/n tried to stop me but I didn't listen and still came here... But I was wrong..If Y/n, Harry and Ron hadn't come and found me..I'd probably be dead" She said
McGonagall was telling Hermione that it was foolish thing to do. I felt a tap on my hand, it was Harry. I looked at him and he was looking somewhere, I followed his gaze and looked where he was looking. It was Snape's foot. It was bloodied really badly.
'Poor him' but as soon as I thought he covered his legs and glared at us. I looked front unbothered completely but Harry was thinking
"Five points will be taken from Gryffindor" That's when I joined to listen "For your serious lack of judgment" Professor looked at us "As for you two gentlemen and lady....." We looked down "I just hope you realize how fortunate you are" She said and I smiled a little looking up slightly
"No many first-year students can take on a fully grown troll and live to tell the tale" she said I completely looked up.
"Five points.. will be awarded to each of you...." she said Harry and Ron smiled at me and each other while I smiled at Hermione and she smiled back. "for sheer dumb luck" She said and walked away. Snape glared at Quirrell and glanced at me before walking away
"Perhaps you ought to go.. It might make up"
He didn't had to say that. I glared at him while walking, remembering his intentions clearly.
While walking back to our Common room. we were all quiet
"I have to believe that the experience was scary" I said trying to break the awkward silence
"It really was.... Thank you for coming and saving us" Hermione thanked them
"sure.. your welcome.. you could pay us back by completing our homework for us" Ron said and I smacked his head from the back lightly
"You have to do your homework by yourself" I scolded him
"And none of us would be there if it wasn't for you" Harry said
"It happened the way it was supposed to be" I said while walking on the stairs
"Right.. besides that is how friendships work" Ron said and Hermione said the password to fat lady and we went in
"I really don't think that is how it work---OH MY GOODNESS!!" I yelled because someone was hugging--no.. squeezing the hell out of me
"WHERE IN THE WORLD WERE YOU??" I heard Jake scolding
"let..go... I can't....breathe" I managed to say and he immediately let me go but kept his hands on my shoulders
"Where were you?" He asked again
'damn, he looks worried'
"Uh. we were.. fighting... the.. troll?" I said out loud and we heard gasps filling the room. Everyone was there.
"Fighting the troll???" He looked disbelieved and look at other 3 to confirm.. they nodded their heads right away
"Why-- why would you????Have you all gone crazy?? You four are first years.. not even seventh years would brave enough to do this" He scolded us
"thanks mate" we heard some boys's voice which I assumed were a seventh years
"Did you at least win any points for it?" Some girl from corner asked us
"Yes, 20" Ron said eagerly
"No.. 15... something happened that made us loose 5 points" Harry said looking down when the Gryffindors groaned
"But we covered it and earned 10 more"Â I said and Gryffindors signed in relief
"I'll tell uncle about this.... You two need to eat.. go on" Jake said to Hermione and me. we gladly ate our food.
"Gryffindor Quidditch team.. be ready for tomorrow's match" Oliver Wood announced and then it hit me
I looked at Harry with nervous face and he was looking at me the same way. Others noticed
"What is wrong?" Jake and Ron asked in unison
"We forgot we had a match" Harry and I said in Unison
Time skip next morning
3rd person's POV
"Take a bit of toast, Mate. go on" Ron said to Harry
"Ron's right. Harry..You're gonna need your strength today" Hermione tried to convince Harry to eat
"I'm not hungry" Harry said to them
"They're right, Potter.. Even if you are Seeker. you need to be faster than all of us.. look at Y/n.. She's eating like it is the last day of her life" Jake said pointing at Y/n
"I need energy!! I am bloody Chaser!!.... and Harry eat your food.. at least eat the things on your plate.. if you don't, I'll make sure you won't get anything to eat this whole day" Y/n said eating between Jake and Ron. and as she threatened harry, He quickly ate
"Do you know why Wood is so close to us today?" Jake whispered to Y/n and she shook her head
"then its much better" Jake said and continued to eat leaving Y/n dumbfounded
"Good luck today Potter..You too Kim" Snape said making them look up
"then again. Now that you two have proven yourselves against a troll....A little of Quidditch should be easy work you both...Even if it's against Slytherin" He said and nodded at Jake and left them
"Does he not like us?" Y/n asked Jake
"I don't know.. it is hard to tell sometimes" Jake replied
"That's explains the blood" Harry whispered loud enough for four of them
"blood?" Hermione asked beside him
"listen.. last night..I'm guessing Snape-" Harry begun
"Professor Snape" Y/n corrected him
"Fine. He let the troll in the diversion.. so could try get past that three-headed dog. But he got himself bit. that's why he's limping" Harry said to them
"But why would anyone would go near that Dog" Hermione asked looking at Y/n
"The day Y/n and I went to Gringotts, Hagrid got something out from one of the vaults" Harry said looking at Y/n, asking her to continue
"He said it was Hogwarts business, very secret" Y/n said eating her toast
"So you two are saying" Hermione tried to understand
"That's what the dog's guarding" Y/n and Harry said in unison
"And that's what Snape--" He interrupted himself when he saw Y/n glaring him
"Professor Snape wants" Harry corrected himself
"We don't know that, Harry... don't be so sure" Y/n said and sipped orange juice from her goblet not paying attention to owl's hoots[while everyone else did noticed']
Suddenly, two big package dropped on Gryffindor table making Y/n choke her drink. Harry caught his parcel, but Y/n didn't. she was still coughing. Jake patted her pack
'Damn, Hedwig!' Y/n thought while coughing, when she came back to her senses. she looked that the parcel was named under her
"Bit early for mail, isn't it?" Hermione wondered loudly
"But I.. never get mail" Harry Said to them
"Let's open it" Y/n and Ron said in unison
Hermione helped Harry unpack, while Ron helped Y/n and when they opened it. there were two shining broomsticks
"They're broomsticks" Harry said
"That's just not a broomstick, you two!..They are Nimbus Two Thousand!" Ron said admiring them
"But who?" Harry wondered
"I think I know who" Y/n said looking somewhere, Harry looked at her and followed her gaze. Professor McGonagall was smiling at both of them, they smiled back
After a while. they were still eating their breakfasts. Harry was eating too. But then
THUD
There was a huge 'THUD' on Gryffindor table that echoed in the great hall. there were two more parcels that dropped again.
The packages made Y/n's food spill all over the table.
"What is wrong with the owls here???!!!!" Y/n yelled with her mouth half-full of food. Since Everyone in the hall was silently watching them, Her voice echoed too.
"What?? again?" Hermione gasped
"I bet they're broomsticks" Ron said amazed
"They're under our name Y/n" Jake said to her
"but who would??.. Uncle??" She said after seeing the name in the corner
"I wonder which one you got" Harry asked Y/n
Y/n opened the package just from the corner to see the name.
"Nimbus two thousand???? Y/n you have two new Nimbus two thousands!!!" Ron chuckled amazed
"But what would I do with it??? I already got one" Y/n said in a low voice. but then a idea crossed her mind. she looked up and
"Wood!!! why don't you have this one???" Y/n said smiling
"WHAT???" five people yelled in unison
"B-but.. I can't Kim... I-its your" Wood stuttered
"But I already have one.. You saw it" Y/n said showing her other broom
"N-no It is N-Nimbus two t-thousand.. I C-can't have it" Wood managed to say
"If I keep it.. it would be no use...It is better if someone uses it.... Jake's already got one.... so you take this one.." Y/n said handing the broom to him but Wood shook his head not taking
"..Please.." Y/n said giving her puppy eyes. every boy who was watching her got red cheeks, even Hermione was red.
"Fine.. I-I'll take it.. for you say so" Wood took the broom from her, Blushing hardly. a Y/n smiled victoriously.
Time skip
Now everyone was outside on the Quidditch ground. Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff were cheering for Gryffindor. There were eager to watch Slytherin lose.
The Gryffindor Quidditch teams were in the changing rooms getting prepared.. When their Captain Wood stepped in the middle, They all looked at him.
"So men-" Wood begun
"And Women" added Angelina Johnson- A chaser along the Kims- resting her arms oh Y/n's shoulder
"and women" Wood said looking at the girls
"This is the one-" wood begun smiling
"The big one" said Fred interrupting Him
"The one we have been waiting for" Continued George
"We were in the team last year"Â Angelina said to Y/n and Harry
"We know he he's speech by heart" Completed Jake
Wood glared at all of them and continued
"Play nice, everyone.. we have a great team this time.. we will win this time" he looked at all of the team, encouraging them.
"Let's go show that to Slytherins" Y/n said smirking and they went outside.
Y/n and Harry were standing on each side of Wood, who was in front, leading his team.
Both of the new players were feeling nervous. A Wood being a great Captain he is, noticed it
"Scared? Y/n and Harry?" He asked them
"A little" Harry nodded
"more than little" Y/n said anxiously
"It's all right, I felt the same before my first game" he told them
"What happened?" Harry asked him
"I don't really remember....I took a bludger to the head two minutes in....Woke up in the hospital a week later" He looked at them. 'somehow' instead of comforting, he scared them more
"Our team really needs to change the prep talk for new players" Jake shook his head
And than, the gate in front of them opened. the cheers for them could be easily heard.They all mounted on their brooms and flew in the pitch. Weasley twins flew together around the flag. The chasers went a made round around the hoops. Harry and Y/n were flying a little messy but they had their balance.
"Welcome to Hogwarts' first Quidditch game of the season. Today's game Slytherin VS Gryffindor!!" Lee Jordan announced and Cheering was filling the whole ground.
Both of the team took their position.Harry looked at Y/n and she gave him a nod.
"The players take their positions as madam Hooch steps onto the field to begin the game!"
"Now, I want a nice, clean game.. From all of you" She said looking at both of the teams
She kicked the box and The Bludgers and Golden Snitch flew came out
"The Bludgers are up, Followed by the Golden Snitch. Remember, the snitch is worth 150 points. The Seeker who catches the snitch ends the game." Lee announced
Madam Hooch took the Quaffle. And threw it
"The Quaffle is released is released and the game begins!" Lee yelled through the stand
All the Chasers flew to take the lead but Y/n caught the Quaffle and flew to the hoop. Avoiding crashing into the players she did a loop and kept dodging the players as well as Bludgers. She kept flying near the hoop and then SCORE!
"Y/n Kim scores! Ten points to Gryffindor" Lee said through mic and everyone except Slytherins cheered.
Y/n was smiled widely and did a hi-fi with Jake while flying.
"Well done Y/n!" Y/n heard Ron yell from the stands. she smiled at everyone
Jake took the Quaffle and flew forward passing the Slytherin Chasers , he passed the Quaffle to Angelina and she flew dodging the Chasers and then she gave Y/n a chance a to score again. Y/n took the Quaffle, gripped it tight. Flew forwards and then SCORE.
"Younger Kim scores again, ten points to Gryffindor" Lee said
"Slytherin Takes position of the Quaffle. Bletchley passes to Captain Marcus Flint" Lee announced
He was kicking and pushing the Pushing the Gryffindor chasers, Y/n just flew behind him waiting for the chance, just like Wood told her to keep her safe.
He flew to the Hoops and threw the Quaffle hard. But Oliver Wood came and kicked the Quaffle away
"Good one Wood" Y/n yelled and flew away quickly to get the Quaffle. Wood smirked at Flint while he glared at him.
This time Angelina caught the Quaffle and flew from the stands. She and Y/n kept passing the Quaffle to each other, not letting Slytherin chasers have chance. Y/n flew around the hoop and gave a last pass to Jake and he SCORED
"Another ten points to Gryffindor" Lee yelled
A Slytherin chaser caught the Quaffle and instead of dodging, he was kicking the Chasers. He threw the Quaffle into the hoop but Wood came and caught it right in time. and then he threw the Quaffle to Jake who caught it and went to the other hoop. But then Flint snatched the bat from his own beater
"Give me that!" He said and hit the Bludger to Wood making him fall. Harry was the only player who saw it. He grunted angrily
And just like that, because there was no keeper for Gryffindor, the Slytherin scored. They got a strategy to hurt the other team's chasers instead of dodging them. And they successfully did that to Angelina Johnson, making bump into the stands. and then A chaser flew to the hoop and threw the Quaffle to score
But Y/n came and caught the Quaffle, being a part-time keeper as well as doing her job as a Chaser she flew and Scored again
"10 more points to Gryffindor!" Lee announced sounding a little happy. Marcus Flint glared at her while she gave him dirty look and smirked at him while taking the possession of the Quaffle again.
"What are you doing????? Get her" Flint yelled to his team mates
"She is a first year, Flint.. Plus a Kim" One of his beater said
"we wouldn't dare to hurt a Kim. and she is a first female they had, there is no way they will let us get away easily"Â a chaser said and flew away and in a meantime Y/n and Jake scored two times again.
"The current score, 60 and 10!!" Lee yelled
And then Harry saw the Snitch and flew to get it, watching him the other Seeker followed him. Harry dodged the Bludger, but then he lost control of his broomstick. Everyone was watching Harry. and suddenly from across the ground, Y/n seemed to having the same problem.
'What??? Why is this happening to me??' Y/n thought trying her best not to fall off her broom.
"What's going on with Harry and Y/n's broom?" Hagrid asked from the stands looking at them. Hermione looked at them from her binoculars and slowly looked down and saw Snape muttering something.
"Its Snape.. He Jinxing their brooms!!!" Hermione whispered to Ron
"Jinxing the broom?? what do we do?" Ron asked her
"Leave it to me" She said and walked away passing the binoculars to Ron.
Harry and Y/n were trying their best to grip the broom tight and keep their balance, even the Slytherin stopped playing to see what was happening. Y/n was doing better but then her broom flew to Harry on its own and that made Harry bump into her and slip from his broom
"Harry I'm so sorry!! I can't control it!" Y/n apologized but Harry was still hanging from his broom.
"Come on Hermione!" Ron whimpered
'Hermione.. please...' Y/n thought
and just then Hermione made it to Teacher's stand and took out her wand and walking quietly to Snape's side
"Lacarnum Inflamarae" She whispered and a spark of fire came from the end of her wand and she quickly ran away
"Fire! you're on fire!" a teacher yelled getting attention of other teachers
And then Y/n and Harry's brooms were still
"Harry, Quick!! there's the snitch!" Y/n and flew away getting her control back
and then Harry managed to get on his broom back. Slytherin Seeker was flying behind the Snitch and Harry flew faster and came right beside him. They kept trying to push each other.
Everyone was watching them, even the players
"Why don't you go on the stands and watch the game from there!!!! Play you idiot!!!!" Y/n yelled at Jake getting him back to his senses and as well as other players.
They flew passing the Quaffle to each other. and as a miracle, Angelina Johnson came back to ground
"Pass here!!!!" She yelled and Y/n dodged one chaser and threw it to her. Angelina caught and then she SCORED
And just then Harry stood on his Broom, balancing hard. He extended his hand to catch the snitch and just then
THUD
He stood up with hands on his stomach. Everyone gasped and stood up to see him. Hermione came from one of the stand's stairs to watch him and Y/n flew right above him
"Look's like he's gonna be sick" Hagrid said and as for the crew he opened his and instead of 'something' the golden snitch came out
"He's got the snitch!!!.... Harry Potter receives 150 points for catching the snitch" Lee yelled and Madam hooch blew a whistle
"Gryffindor Wins!!!!!" She yelled
And just like that the whole ground burst into the cheers. Everyone was cheering except the Slytherins. Harry looked up at Y/n and smiled.
'Damn it!!! I can't hold back' Y/n thought and flew down on the ground and threw herself on Harry.
"We Won!!!" she laughed with Harry and let go of him. Harry extended his arms and showed to Snitch to everyone. The team came and clapped for him
The Weasley twins came and putted Harry on their shoulders and Jake came and Hugged Y/n tightly
"You did it! You did it!" He said hugging her, she let go of him and said
"We did it" she said pointing her head to the team and then Wood came back to consciousness. He looked everywhere, he was confused
"What is happening??" He asked his team
"WE WON!!!" They all said in unison. Wood's eyes widen he looked at the stands and then at Harry. He showed the Golden Snitch to Wood
"Uh----uh--um" Wood was stuttering but he ran and came hugged all his team
'Best day Ever" Y/n and Harry thought in Unison

Not me still wondering which one was the first match ever. the one with Troll or the one with Quidditch.
