(A/N: Hey yall! So this is the first time this little potato here have written a novel, most of this are based on my imaginations and inspired from others. So please bear with me and i hope you enjoy the book!
Please don't mind the future random made up names for the herbs/plants/ poisons because I'm uncreative and weird and can't come up with cool names.

Chapter 1: Transmigrated

Huang Jing Xuan sat at a corner of the library as she flipped through the novel 'Entangled with the Prince'. She was halfway through the novel when she peered outside the window, from the second floor, and furrowed her brows at the scene in front of her.
Stray cats and dogs are running about in a hurry, the birds on the roof flapped their wings rapidly flying away all in the same direction. In a split of a second, the entire library started shaking vigorously. Books started falling off the shelves, Huang Jing Xuan stumbled and reached out grabbing onto the bookshelves in hopes to stabilize herself.
"fuck." she mutters as she tightly gripped onto the novel and the bookshelf. Another strong wave came and the bookshelves came toppling down against each other.
Huang Jing Xuan widened her eyes in shock as she looked at the shelves falling onto her, before she fell to the ground losing her consciousness.
"Miss Jing Xuan! Miss Jing Xuan!" She heard noises by her ear as she slowly fluttered her eyes open. Her vision was slightly blurred, as she brought her hand up to her eyes and rubbed them.
As her vision cleared up, she looked up and noticed 2 young ladies kneeling by her side wearing eccentric clothing. She turn her head away from them and took in her surrounding, this doesn't look like a hospital...
"Miss!" The lady kneeling called out.
"Who are you?" Huang Jing Xuan asked.
"Miss! Have you forgotten me?! Nubi is Mimi!"
"Could Eldest Miss have lost her memory when she knocked her head while escaping the assassins?!" The girl beside Mimi asked.
"Oh god! Call master! Call master!" Mimi shouted as the girl beside her rushed out to inform the master.
Mimi... why is her name so familiar?
"My Jing'er... have you forgotten us?" A man around the age of 40 walked in, the corners of his eyes had pinkish hue as he stared at Huang Jing Xuan with concern.
Although the man was already in his forties, he looked at most in his early thirties with a lively air around him. His hair was brushed back from his face and his beard was cleanly shaved, which gave him a very refreshing vibe.
"Who are you?" Huang Jing Xuan asked meekly.
"Jing'er do you not remember me? Call the physician!" He commanded as he walked closer towards her and sat on the edge of her bed.
Very quickly the physician arrived, Mimi placed a thin silk cloth over Jing Xuan's wrist as the physician took her pulse.
"General Mu please ease your worries, the Eldest Miss' health is alright. However, perhaps due to the impact on her head she might have lost her memories."
"Will she recover her memories?" General Mu, Mu Xuan De, asked.
"That depends. She might recover, she might not recover. If her past memory is not important, you shouldn't force her to remember. Forcing her to remember will inflict pain to her head. I will prescribe some calming medicine and diffusing blood medicine for Miss. She will have to drink it after every meal."
After giving the instructions, the physician excused himself.
"Xi Er send the physician out." The other girl beside Mimi stood up and escorted the old physician out.
"Furen" General Mu called out.
Furen: wife.
Lee Jiao Yu, walked into the room hurriedly. She immediately rushed towards Huang Jing Xuan's bed and grabbed onto Jing Xuan's hand as she cried.
"My Jing'Er have suffered. It is all mother's fault..." she sobs.
Although Huang Jing Xuan wasn't sure what was going on but she felt a connection towards the couple in front of her. She's an orphan and had never felt such parental love before, and even if it wasn't directed to her, her heart couldnt help but swell.
She slowly sat up and was pulled into an embrace by Lee Jiao Yu, who cried as she stroke Huang Jing Xuan's head.
"Whats my name?" Jing Xuan asked softly.
Lee Jiao Yu eyes widen as if she's been hit with the truth again and more tears were threatening to spill out. However she held back and smiled sweetly at her.
"You're called Mu Jing Xuan."
Jing Xuan widen her eyes as she couldn't believe her ears.
No wonder Mimi's name sounded so familiar. She is one of the side character's servant, and now I am that side character, Mu Jing Xuan. Initially I had taken interest in the novel because the side character has the same name as me. Never would I have thought I would transmigrate into said novel.
"Can I have some time alone. My head hurts, I think I remembered some things" she mutters softly to her mother.
"Of course. Everyone is dismissed, nobody is to disturb Eldest Miss's rest. Master, lets leave." Lee Jiao Yu places a gentle kiss on Jing Xuan's forehead and left the room with her husband in tow.
"Assassination attempt. That is the start of the story. Guan Yu Xuan is the main female lead, as well as Mu Jing Xuan's best friend. She is a popular girl well-liked by all. However, she has always had inferiority complex towards Mu Jing Xuan because that girl was far prettier and talented than her.
Moreover, the both of them were in love with the Crown Prince who was childhood friends to the both of them. Guan Yu Xuan was worried that the Crown Prince would be interested in Mu Jing Xuan. After all she's prettier and much more talented than her.
When the prince came back from his military training, Mu Jing Xuan opens up about her feeling towards the prince to Guan Yu Xuan and this spiralled her inferiority complex and she had killing intent. Although not mentioned explicitly in the book but it was obvious that she had set up words of trap and manipulated the guys that likes her into hating and wanting to kill Mu Jing Xuan. A white lotus was what she was.
Afterwards, Guan Yu Xuan realised that all along the one that the crown prince had liked was her and she was overjoyed. However, it was obvious that her intentions to kill Mu Jing Xuan did not diminish when the queen convinced the prince to take Jing Xuan in as his concubine.
She agreed happily, pretended that she was excited to share her husband with her best friend. This action led everyone to view her as a generous and virtuous wife, while the people that likes her felt bad that she had to share the man she love due to Mu Jing Xuan 'seducing' the prince.
When Mu Jing Xuan married in, Yu Xuan as the main wife guides and manipulated Mu Jing Xuan without anyone knowing and slowly made the crown prince hate her for always 'bullying' his beloved Yu Xuan.
More female side characters appeared in his harem and while she pretended to be okay with the prince taking in concubines, in actuality she wants them dead. Nobody liked sharing their partner with someone else. Later when she was kidnapped by some bandits, she was saved by one of the Kingdom's prince and they both fell in love with each other." Jing Xuan whispered as she recalls the plot, she had only read through half of the book, it was a love triangle between the crown prince of the Eastern kingdom, the prince of the Western kingdom and Yu Xuan.
"God! If only I managed to finished reading the novel before I came here. The first half of the book was basically just about her fighting the 'scheming Mu Jing Xuan' and finally marrying the Crown Prince."
Jing Xuan groans as she started panicking.
"Whatever I must first try to survive the first half of the story. First of all, I need to get far away from Guan Yu Xuan, all the hateful and dangerous side characters as well as the crown prince too."
After deciding, she relaxed her mind and drifted off to sleep.
