âWhat the hell? What task? Donât tell me this is all real. I am in that guyâs game!!! That basta.....â she shouted before she could finish her appeared in the dark dingy box again.
Eyes wide, she glanced around. âI am back here.....how? what... oh God, that notification sounded like game notification...â she thought as a bad premonition arose in her heart.
she had been working in the game industry for a very long time and if she couldnât even identify this simple info, then..... âWait.... letâs think about things at hand. The notification said that I failed the level...â
Right then, the system chimed again.
[âAdventurer, welcome back to Glimmer of Redemption.

.....

Power bar: -10
Number of Lives: 2
Level: 1
Task: All are swimming like a swine.
Good luck,â the mechanical voice said and disappeared.]
This time Feng listened with rapt attention. âWhat kind of task is this, huh? To swim like swine.....but didnât I swim around. Then why did I fail it,â
âHmmm I should have pushed that fatty swine underwater,â she mumbled.
The box rocked to the side as the boat was turning to the left. The two kids in the box whimpered softly.
Feng frowned. Last time she was quite confused and in a rush to leave the boat that she left behind these two little kids. âBut how do I take them along? By her previous observation, there are at least 15 men on board. It was my luck that they all didnât chase me last time but if I take the kids along, it will attract more attention,â
âBut I canât leave them again...â she mumbled. âIf it really was a game, then there should be an easy fix. but how?...â
She swiftly punched a hole at the weak spot on the box. She peeked out. This time she saw the fat man striding around. âHey you both,â
The kids moved away from her swiftly. Yet she crawled over to them and held their trembling hands. âListen, I am going to open this box in a minute. I need you both to jump out and run when I give you the command, okay,â
The two kids trembled and hugged each other tight. They both did not give any affirmation, but she couldnât do much more than this. âItâs not like I can lift them and run around,â she wiped her sweaty forehead and sighed.
Feng peeked out the hole to see the fat man beating up another sailor. âMaybe he is the swine. Iâll definitely make him swim this time,â she said with a naughty grin. âAll I have to do is to let him step in my trap,â
âHey... you pig, do you think you can keep me in here? I am definitely going to chop you into pieces, you ball less piece of shit,â she shouted.
The fat man turned around and glanced at her box.
âYes you, you pig. I am definitely suing you and your crew. Let me tell you, Iâm a big shot in my company!â
âWhat did you call me!â the fat man growled.
âPiggggg,â she said loudly.
The stout man dashed over and punched the box like last time. He reached inside with his stubby hands. She kicked it hard.
âAhhh!!â
Feng grinned. âKids run!â she shouted and dashed out.
She shielded her eyes from the bright light and ran towards the familiar mast of the ship. The fat man ran after her. âNice, trap set.â
She glanced back to with a smile, but her smile waned away soon. The kids, they were still hiding inside the box. âWaa they didnât listen to a word.â
The fat man had already reached close. âYou bloody bitch how you dare call me a pig,â
Feng bit her teeth and glanced back. âShould I go back for them or should I save my skin?â
The fat man reached out and caught her shirt. âCaught you. Iâm gonna skin you alive and cook you into a soup,â he growled with a sinister smile.
âI agree....NOT,â forcing all her momentum in her palm, she punched him in between his legs.
âac-achh ahhh,â he squealed and moaned in pain.
She tugged her shirt out of his grip and ran over to the box. âHey kids, I told you to come out!â she shouted out loud.
The fat man rolled over and glanced around at the sailors, watching this with a blank look. âWhat are gawking at? Catch her. I will even give you guysâ share of meat,â
All this ruckus made the sailors all glance at her. Slowly they stepped forward and surrounded her. âMater said runaways should not be spared. That means... we will have meat,â one of them salivated with a creepy smile on his face.
Feng stalled away from him. Sadly, they all were standing right in between her and the trembling kids.
The skinny guy drooled even more and stepped forward.
âShit, by the looks of it, they really do cook humans and eat them,â she thought, gritting her teeth.
