The twins rushed directly into Yubiri’s study. Feng followed after them and so did the time mage Oli.

“I saw a spell book related to time mage around here somewhere...” Ethan mumbled as he scrambled through a huge pile of book.

“I think it’s on the top shelf,” Aiden mumbled softly.

Everyone glanced at the tall time mage Oli. He just tiredly nodded. “Let me....” suddenly he wobbled and leaned against the door.

Feng swiftly caught his hands and helped him lower to the ground. “What’s wrong!!”

“My powers.... they are going out of control...” he panted, holding his chest.

Aiden sat next to him and checked his pulse. “His heart rate is too high.. I think he might really die if we don’t stop this freezing spell soon.”

Feng worriedly looked at the young man. “Oli, how long can your control your powers?”

“Usually..... Usually the captain only froze the ships for a day...”

She glanced out at the dark sky out the window... the day was coming to an end. If they don’t find a solution to the problem, then this young man might pass away.

“What happened when you die?” Ethan coldly mumbled.

“Ethan!!” Feng glared at him.

Oli chuckled softly, spitting out blood. “They remain frozen...”

“Shit!!” Ethan swiftly ran to the shelf. “I need something to reach the top shelf.”

“Oh wait, let me bring a chair,” Feng volunteered to help. None of them were as tall as Yubiri, so they would not be able to reach the top shelf. She ran to the small parlor.

Yubiri’s friend and butler Felix stood frozen with a cup of tea in hand. The tea water was frozen.

The chairs were right behind him.

Feng squeezed past him. “Excuse me...” she lifted a heavy wooden chair and ran to the hallway.

Elle was squatting in front of Yubiri with an unknown look in her eyes.

“Elle, can you help out,” she whispered.

The little girl snapped out of her dazed state. “y-yes...” she ran to her and lifted the chair with her. Her face was slightly pale and sickly.

“Are you okay?”

“I’m fine Meimei...” she whispered with a troubled smile.

“You know...” she juggled with the chair a bit. “You can tell me anything, right?”

“I know.....” she did not say much after that. Her face looked so pale and to be honest she looked extremely sad...

‘I guess I should have a deep girl to girl talk with her after this.’ Feng Mei thought to herself as they both struggled to lift the chair back into the study room. “Chair is here!!”

“Quick,” Ethan and Aiden also ran to her and helped move it near the shelf. Ethan climbed up, but his small stature could not reach the top shelf yet.

“Let me,” Feng lifted him off whist huffing and placed him down. Ethan looked at her, stunned. “I’m string okay, let me doo stuff,” she climbed up and took down all the books. “Did we get it?”

Aiden and Ethan shuffled the book. “It’s here!!”

“Nice!” Feng jumped down and sat next to them. “Find out this spell fast. Elle and I will take care of the mage.”

She tugged Elle to the mage and sat down next to him. His breath was getting so shallow.

“Will he die like this?” Elle whispered, throwing worried looks at Yubiri who was frozen in time on the sofa.

“I don’t know...” Feng gently caressed her small head. “But don’t worry.... they both can solve it.”

“I hope so..” Elle mumbled softly.

“It’s here!! We found it!!” Ethan shouted all of a sudden.

“Take care of him,” she instructed to Elle and ran to him, “can you replicate the spell?”

“I can’t we are too weak to replicate this complicated spell but.... we found another way,” he showed a page to her.

It had a drawing of two humans with weird marking on their head and hands. Their bodies were connected by lines as well.

“We can transfer his powers to another time user, so that they can control it together.” Ethan excitedly whispered.

“um... okay, who are we going to transfer it to?”

“You, of course,” Aiden glanced at her expectantly.

“Huh?”

The twin’s shimmering eyes met her confused ones.

“Why me?”

“You are a time mage, right? I know that want to keep it a secret but you can’t keep it from us anymore.” Aiden blinked at her innocently.

Feng, on the other hand, was even more confused. ‘How did they even come to the conclusion that I was a time mage? How? Like how? Wait.... wait a minute!! I think I know why..’

Fight at the pier. The kids were there when she used the system reward. They must have come to the conclusion that she might be a time mage from that experience.

‘But I am not a time mage!! How can I even explain that to them,’ she nervously bit her nails.

Ethan gently touched her hands. “Don’t worry, it won’t hurt. I will make sure that it won’t...”

“What happens when you transfer the energy to a person without time control?” she doubtfully whispered.

“They will instantly age and die,”
