Feng silently observed as the pirates ate and drank like pigs. They went around being debauched with the women.

She clenched her fist tightly. ‘Shit, I feel my blood boiling...’ but even so, she remained in her spot watching her target intently.

‘Where is the amulet though?..’

She keenly watched him. He had too many things on him... ‘Fucking hell, the difficulty has just raised another level....’

The pirate captain pulled a frozen woman and dragged her back to a luxurious room. The three that were following him also went loose and started to party.

‘This is my chance,’ Feng climbed down and crouched behind a crate.. she stealthily moved to that room and slid in.

Inside, she heard moans and grunts. ‘Fucking pig....’

Clothes were scattered all across the room. ‘I should not attack now. It will disadvantageous.’

She searched through them. There were too many gold chains and pendants that seemed like the fabled amulet.

‘Shit, I really should have asked him how it looks like,’

She picked up all of them and stashed it inside her clothes.

“AAhh!! let go of me!!!” a woman screamed loudly.

‘Wait.... she can move that means that the amulet is with him still,’ Feng changed her mind. ‘I have to be extra careful or else this man would freeze me as well.... but... I have immunity to this time freeze. Let’s just go nuts,’

She jumped out of her hiding spot and slammed the man’s throat.

He whimpered loudly.

“Oh, is that what a dying pig sounds like?” she whispered, slashing his throat as well.

The lady below him was sobbing loudly. Her clothes were disarray, but it looked like he did not get that far ahead.

“Listen lady, If you want to live I need you to remain silent.”

The lady cupped her sobbing mouth and closed her eyes tightly.

“Okay, don’t be too silent. Make some noise, moan or something, but don’t leave this room, yeah?”

“Why?” she sobbingly whispered.

“Because if you escape this room, they will kill you. Just wait a few minutes. By then we can take these filthy pigs down,”

The lady wiped her eyes and nodded. “I will act as if I’m being assaulted..”

Feng Mei swiftly pulled off the only chain around his neck. It was just a rusted chain with a deep red ruby as a pendant. She gently caressed it. “I’ll get going then,”

She sneaked out again and crawled behind the huge crates of stuff. Like a little monkey, she started to climb down on the net.

All of a sudden, there was a loud commotion on the deck.

She peaked out.

The woman had run out and was screening for help. Accidentally, the screaming woman met her gaze. “Please help me!! Girl help me, I will give you any wealth you want!!”

“Shit!”

All the pirates glanced her way. One of the captain’s three guards ran out of the room with a deadly expression. “That girl killed our cap’n.”

“Fucking hell,” Feng swiftly climbed down. In her urgency, her grip slipped.

She fell down to the lower deck with a loud thud. Her arms were pulsing and aching and her leg.... it was twisted at a bad angle.

Biting down on her pain, she hobbled back towards the crate.

She opened it and jumped in.

“I got what you needed. Come on, start using your powers. Freeze the pirates and unfreeze the captured.” She panted, handing him the gem.

“Yes!!!!!” he glanced at his excitedly but soon his eyes dimmed. “I can’t....”

“It’s not the time to lose your confidence, okay. I need you to man up and freeze those fuckers.”

“It’s.... cracked....” he showed her the red gem.

“Oh, no...” Feng glanced at the huge crack on the gem. “Our plan is fucked up..... we can only escape and regroup with the others.”

This was the time to execute the emergency plan, but her body was not in the right state to climb or even slide over a rope.

“Hey can you help me out,” Feng glanced at him with a smile.

“Yes...” he lifted her over his shoulders and ran. “Where to?...”

“To your right, I left one hook attached there for our escape...” she mumbled dazedly. Her eyes were blurry from all the pain.

“Feng..... we have a problem...”

“What?” she opened her eyes tiredly and glanced at him.

“The pirate ship is gone.....” the man clenched the broken rope and glanced at the distance ship...

On top of the mast a young blond girl stood there waving at them with a sickly sweet smile.

“Fucking Clarina. She screwed us over....” Feng bit her lips. “She is such a bitch...”

The floor thudded with loud footsteps.

“We can’t just stand around. Let’s hide somewhere else...”

As they were running, they noticed a few of the passengers moving and a few still in the frozen state.

“I thought you said it won’t work.” Feng tugged at his shirt.

“I thought so too. But it looks like it partially nullified my magic. Only few must have woken up.”

Feng sighed loudly. “I hope Yubiri is amongst the few.... I hope and pray...”
