A week passed by and Feng came to a conclusion that they all were villains, including Elle and the twins. In Clarinaâs perspective, of anyone was not friends were either a cannon fodders or stepping stones for her to develop her relationship.
There was that guy Hibi who was never a part of that game, so that would only mean that he was a cannon fodder. Even so, that guy was powerful enough to cause a lot of trouble for them.
But contrary to her expectation, he did not act against them.
A week of silence and peace.
But the peace did not last longer. Her break day came and all of them as a family went out to the deck to play around.
Feng silently bit her lips. âHow long until we can get off this ship?â she whispered to lady Hiliana who was basking in the sun.
âIt will take us another month to reach our destination, dear. Why are you sea sick? I can ask the maids to get you some tonic.â
.....
âNo, no it just feels constricted.â She glanced at the upper decks with a look of worry. As of now, they had not told lady Hiliana about it. She made Elle promise that she wonât tell her.
If they did, it would only cause problems for lady Hiliana. It is good to depend on someone but throwing all your troubles at others is not proper etiquette.
Feng glanced at her small, delicate hand. âWhen will I get strong enough to beat those who bully me? Even in my past life I was nothing but a pawn that was used and thrown away by my step mum and my brother. I donât want to live such a pathetic life anymore.â
âLady Hiliana, can we increase my training time?â the lady glanced at her curiously. âWhy dear?â
âI want to get stronger.â Feng glanced at the sparkling ocean. Suddenly, a warm hand gently caressed her head.
âHaste will not bring you any benefits.â her eyes slightly turned red as she peered at her. She could see small sports on Feng that were almost on the stages of awakening. âWorry not, you are getting there my dear.â
Feng glanced at her with a small smile. She then glanced at the twins and Elle, who were standing near the corner of the ship looking out. Elle was blabbering something loudly, nudging Aiden strongly.
Ethan looked bored and Aiden was annoying Elle even more.
Even Yubiri was standing with them, enjoying the sun set.
âGo play with them. You should always enjoy your youth as well,â lady nudged her encouragingly.
Feng glanced at her with a soft blush. âIâm not young you know.â
âI know,â she whispered softly.
Feng froze. She was only joking when she said that, but the ladyâs tone made it seem that she totally believed it. âYou do?â
âYou are but ten years old...â the lady finished her sentence with a small smirk.
Feng let out a deep breath. âPhew, I thought my cover was blown,â
âFeng!! Come here!! I see flying fishes!!!!â Elle shouted from the distance,
âcoming!â Feng picked up the crystal ball and ran to her. âWhere...â
They all enjoyed the scenery. Soon it because slightly cold. The old lady retired to their room whilst they all played happily on the deck.
âMaster!!! You have so much to do! You canât afford to play around!!!â Kijin ran to the deck and dragged Yubiri back to his lab.
âBut I want to play....â Yubiri pouted as he was being dragged away. âFeng, wear a coat, it is getting cold~â he shouted before the door closed on his face.
Feng chuckled loudly. âHe is still like a kid.â
âHe is fifteen actually he should not even be playing with us,â Elle said with a slight snicker.
âYeah, he is weird.â Ethan nodded to her.
The happy environment suddenly came crashing down when a certain little blond girl came running to them with a happy smile.
âShit, she is here.â Feng wanted nothing to do with her and that stupid master of herâs. She dragged the kids back, but Clarina stood right in their path.
âOh, look at the time its out nap tome right little Ethan,â Feng pinched his cheeks whist mouthing âact sleepy.â
Ethan just let her play with his cheeks. âOh, yes.. yawn so sleepy,â he said in a dull tone.
Fengâs eyebrows twitched. âOh my god that sounded faker that a plastic butt.â
âHello!â Clarina said cheerfully. âCan we play?â
âumm.... we are retiring for the day,â Feng said with a kind smile.
Clarinaâs expression fell. âoh.... itâs okay if you donât want to play. Iâm just a maidâs girl after all.â she twirled around holding her skirt.
Feng glanced at her in disbelief. âWhy are you putting words in my mouth? I never said anything about you being a maid. Fuck, this girl really is a white lotus,â
She did not want to spend even a second with her.
âLetâs go,â she ran past her.
âWait!â Clarina tugged at her sleeve.
The little sphere Feng held slipped from her hand and shattered into million pieces.
