That evening, after taking a small nap, the three, along with Elle, went out for a walk around the deck. The sun had turned golden, casting warm light on everything it touched. Feng basked in its glory with a long sigh.
The only thing that was common with her own world was the feeling of happiness when she viewed the beautiful view of sun setting and rising.
It gave her the feeling of comfort.
Like a warm hug, the warm rays heated up her cold cheeks.
âMeimei, why arenât you wearing your coat?â Elle mumbled, hugging her softly. âDonât worry, Iâll make you warm.â
Aiden also ran to her, but stopped a foot away. His powers mainly revolved around ice particles and ice energy, so his body was cold all year around. He resorted to holding her gloved hand with a smile of content.
âWhy are you still carrying that,â Ethan mumbled, pointing at the small crustal sphere in her hand.
.....
Feng just awkwardly smirked. âThis keeps my pain away. Even though I didnât train today, my muscles are aching very badly. I didnât know what else to do. I think Iâm addicted to this...â
Ethan mentally noted to himself to learn that enchantment and cast it soon in a kerchief or a small paper so that it would be convenient for Feng.
Right then, four burly men surrounded them.
âYou four come with us.â
Ethan frowned slightly and pulled everyone back. In an open space like this, his powers were the most apt to use. âWho are you?â
âI said follow us midgets, our master wants to talk with you all.â
âWhat if we donât want to meet your master?â
One of them moved threateningly close, snapping his knuckles. âThen I might have to use force.â
âWeâll see how you can force us...â Ethan growled. The clear sky was suddenly filled with dark clouds, and thunder rumbled loudly. The now calm seas were turbulent, sloshing waves after waves onto their steady ship.
The four men slightly moved back while the toughest looking one moved forward. âBring the girls, Iâll take care of the brats.â
âStop. Weâll come with you,â Feng intervened before things could get intense. The other men glanced at her sceptically.
Ethan and Aiden both glanced at her with a deep frown.
âDonât worry; you just want to talk with us, right?â
âRight,â the men chuckled, mocking them openly.
Ethan moved back slightly and held her hand. âFeng, whatâs your plan,â
âI donât know who the instigator is we canât just offend some unknown person. Letâs go face him directly,â she whispered.
The men did not force them anymore. The men gestured to the stairwell, up to the even upper floors.
Lady Hilianaâs residence was in the mid-deck whilst the servants and the other staffs stayed on the bottom deck. Only the royal bloodline and other royal related nobles stayed up.
Feng Mei glanced up with a deep frown. âWho the hell did we offend?â
She was slightly regretting the decision to follow them, but in the long run this decision was the best she could decide upon. If this person who sent these servants did not have any bad intent, then having an open duel with them will only create an enemy.
But if this person already had evil intent, then they would have to deal with them properly.
âLetâs rattle the grass to see whether a snake resides.â
The men led them over to a huge, black, ornate door. They opened the door, and they stiffly stood on each side.
Feng straightened her back and confidently walked in. Inside there was a dark-haired man sitting there with a forlorn look on his face. He looked about fifteen or eighteen, but the presence he had was undefeated.
âWho is this? Is he another important game character?â
She curtsied. âWhat might the occasion be for kind sir to invite us in an unruly way?â
He raised his brows and smirked. âYoung girl knows to talk. How old are you ten? Donât you know that you have to respect your elders?â
âI have been taught to respect the ones who show me respect. In that retrospective you have no rights to demand for it,â
Elle giggled softly and showed her thumbs up. Even Ethan and Aiden were very impressed by her confidence.
The black-haired man stood up and slowly walked close. âLost respect or wonât show respect? I guess you street rats were not taught well by your beggar parents.â
âHey!! She is my part of my family! Donât you dare disrespect her!!â Elle yelled and ran towards him, but Feng caught her by her waist and gently patted her stiff back.
âItâs okay, Elle Iâll do the talking,â she then glanced at the man. âSir, what is your purpose for calling us here. We donât have all day.â
He chuckled with a dark look in his eyes. âYou should give all of your time if I ask you to how could you even go against my word. What an audacious creature you are.â
Feng stiffened up. She wanted to find the reason he was hostile to them, but this guy was much dangerous than she had anticipated.
âIt is not proper...â
Right then the door behind them opened and a small blond girl walked in with a small tray. âBrother Hibi~ I have bought you tea~â she cutely whispered as she wobbled around with it.
The man hurriedly helped her by taking the tray away. âWhy are you doing such hard work? Didnât I tell you to rest,â he whispered gently wiping at her red eyes.
âBut brother Hibi might not get enough sleep if I donât see him,â she giggled softly.
Feng watched this with a small sigh. âSo this is why? Ahhh it is the main protagonist halo. Is that why this stupid guy is hazing us? Because we didnât play with her? Fuck this game is totally fucked up.â
From a playerâs perspective, this game looked so romantic it handsome men hoping left and right falling to our dear Clarinaâs feet.
But along their path of rose these main characters had to trample few âvillainsâ and cannon fodder just to make them feel more âromantically induced with each otherâ
âIs that what this is? Are we the.... villains?!!!!!â
