Duke did not let them stay on the roads for long. With just a wave, he created a huge crystal pathway that ran right above theirs. Their carriage just rode above the crowd.

Many people gathered below looked up in awe.

Even the two in the scuffle glanced up in shock.

Feng Mei caught the attention of the two boys. They both looked like they were about fifteen years old.

One had flaming red hair and slightly golden eyes... he looked at her intently. The other was scrawling on the ground with a sword to his throat.

“Claudius is it? Interesting....”

Suddenly a small realization hit her. Aiden was slightly taller than her now. At just six years old they were taller than her.

She gently kissed his curly blond head.

Aiden silently looked up and gestured for her to come close.

“What is it?” she secretively whispered moving close.

Suddenly, he kissed her lips and giggled. “I wanted to kiss you too....”

Wide eyes Feng glanced at the duke and duchess they both looked like they were at loss for words.

“t-that was an accident.... Aiden, you should not kiss anyone on their lips. It’s not proper,” lady Perlin chided him with a look of shock.

“But I saw a lot of people doing that. Even you do that,”

Lady Perlin’s face went bright red. She hid her face with a folding fan blinking. “we... we are married. It’s only married men do to their wives,”

“Oh..... but Feng promised to marry me,” he smiled like a little angel.

Ethan just sighed. “She agreed to marry me too. i am owed a kiss as well,”

The duchess just glanced at the twins and then at her husband. “They are progressing too fast. They might scare Feng away..” she whispered in fear.

“It’s okay,” he assured her and then glanced at the boys. “No kissing allowed until you are fifteen. Promise or no promise this rule should be followed at all times,”

Aiden humped, folding his arm over his chest like a little angry man. “Then I won’t kiss you both either. You guys keep asking for goodnight kisses, right? No more kisses. Banned as you say,”

The duke was at a loss for words. He just sighed and whispered. “Sorry little Feng. I apologize in turn to my children. They can be very naughty..”

Feng chuckled awkwardly wiping her lips. “Yes... they are..” they glanced at Aiden. ‘Why do these kids still remember that promise? It’s been months. Won’t children forget things like in a day or so? Why... ahh this is so embarrassing. Now the duke and the duchess are going to think I’m a pervert for agreeing to their demands.’

“Feng dear...” the duchess moved close with an expectant look. “so... I will you hold your promise?”

“So? My wife is older than me by six years,” the duke said for which lady Perlin slapped his arms.

“Sorry,” he apologized with a warm smile.

Feng Mei just looked at the pair and then at the twins. Who smiled at her the same way....

Their eyes were filled with love.
