We sat in the airport waiting for our flight to be called and by "we" I mean me, badz, Adrianna, Naldo, Tyra and wicked gyal.

We was all now boarding the flight; every body vex wid every body so mi not even know how we ago work dis out.

"Ello weh yah step pass mi go" Naldo said to Tyra who was following behind me down the isle.

"Sidung" was all he said with a straight face as Ty strutted to the seat beside him.

Badz and Adrianna sat together behind them and me and Asia seats was infront of Tyra and Naldo.

"Sir, you need to take your seat" An flight attendant spoke.

"Bill, Adrianna swap seat wid Jalen" Badz spoke annoyed.

I watched her under sykes as she let out loud sighs on purpose.

I heard badz and Jalen snicker behind me while Tyra lifted her middle finger above the back of her chair giving it to them.

"Just give me some ah dem protein bars" Jalen said finally looking up from his phone scanning the tray.

I watched Jalen scan the caramel skinned flight attendant from head to toe watching as she bent low reaching for the dry snacks on the bottom tray.

She wore a buttoned shirt that slightly exposed her collar bone, with a tight waisted skirt that stoped just over her knees.

"Hello sir? Here" the flight attendant spoke with a wide white smile as Jalen took the protein bars from her hold.

"Oh- sorry *clears throat* I mean thanks" Jalen said taking the snacks.

I turn my head looking out to cloudy skies and laughed.

"Evening, I'm sure you pre ordered your shrimp cheese pasta ma'am." The attendant spoke looking at her chart.

"Yes and a bottle of water, thank you" I said taking my food and water from her as she handed them to me.

"And for you sir? would you like a snack or an hot meal?" She asked Nsldo as I began unpacking my food.

"I'll have the same as the passenger next to me" he spoke slyly.

"unfortunately meals like those have to be pre ordered" she informed him.

"I'm sure you can make something work" he said keeping eye contact with attendant as she grew more nervous.

I watched as the woman blushed and nodded her head towards Naldo as she glided the tray down isle purposely swaying her hits for him to watch.

"Hmm" I hummed using the plastic cutlery mix the shrimp pasta together.

"Hush shh shhh" i said lowly to Asia's ear as I held her in my hold felling every vibrated sob

I began texting badz when she said she's gonna go to the bathroom for some tissue.

I drove through the entrance, parked and we all soon got out of the rented 6 seater I purchased for this trip.

While me Jalen and badz got all the luggage the girls was only now just getting out.

I watched badz nod towards Adrianna as she went off inside with Asia who was hugged up next to her.

Badz made eye contact with me and I furrowed my eyebrows.

We got all the luggage to the lobby and checked in, we had 3 room for each couple but we'll see how that goes.

The work people dem said they'll carry the assigned bags to the right room as they handed me our key cards.

I checked my phone see it's after 12 meaning it's Ty'a birthday.

"Babes Forward" i called to her while walking back to the group giving everyone their key cards.

She stood there, as everyone got in the lift.

"Nuh bother wid di argument" i said seriously grabbing her hand and leading us into the elevator behind me.

we arrived on our floor and straight away Asia went into Adrianna's room along with her.

"Weh dem up to ?" I said turning to Ty and she just looked at me clueless and shrugged her shoulders.

"Yo Ty,  they might need you in there" badz called out couple steps away from us.

"Why? Is there Something wrong" Tyra said worried Turing to him.

She looked down walking on the petals as the trail led her into the bathroom.

"Nah mek you draw me out enuh, come open yuh gifts before you open up di ramping shop yer" I said as picked her up and carried her back to the bedroom where the gift was on the bed.

"HIM WAH ? No rewind and play everything yuh just seh again." Adrianna said lost for words.

"The same Trevor weh grow yuh from you ah 2 months old" she asked.

"Trevor weh yuh mother married fi over 15 years?" She questioned.

"Trevor weh drive we up a town fi get mi mother shopping-" she ranted.

"YES!" I shouted confirming.

"Why didn't you tell anyone ?" She said calmly.

"I mean I tried to my mummy never did look into things to say yeah a true mi ah talk- Adrianna I WAS 12 FUCKING YEARS OLD how a 12 year old meant to sit and have that conversation with their mother." I expressed.

She walked around the room rubbing her temple.

"How did you get rid of it" she said muffled.

"What ?" I said.

"The baby, when he raped you and he noticed you was pregnant- PAUSE How the fuck did he notice and your mom didn't." She asked trying to make sense of this.

"She worked mornings throughout my school years, so every morning before Trevor would drop me to school I'd end up throwing up" I explained picturing an certain day.

"That same day after school... he promised to buy me all the things a child could want, but only if he got to hurt me one last time..." I said as my breath hitched to me holding back my tears.

"That evening was the evening he beat the child out of me, all the hits was to my stomach so my mother would've been able to see it" I told her.

"And you know what I don't blame her she was busy putting a roof over my head while making sure I had a father figure because my real dad wasn't there when she needed him." I told her as single drops of tear rolled down my warm cheeks.

"If only she knew, I got my first period when I was 11. Adrianna maybe if it would of held back a couple years maybe...just may- " I began but broke down trying to make sense of it all.

"Unuh nuh done chat yet" Jalen spoke barging into the room startling us both.

"Wahm to you?" He spoke his and badz attention immediately drawing to me as they Both stepped in closer.

"Trevor Trevor?" Badz said making up his face.

"Trevor who come down the lane and ask aunty if she need anything from outa market " Jalen continued.

but like...woah." Badz said fixing his sentence as all eyes turned to him.

"Know seh dead him ago dead tho right" Jalen spoke sternly hot headed.

"Yeah you know seh there's no other option" Adrianna added shocking me and everyone else in the room.

"He's not. They both aren't. At least not until the trips over...I don't wanna ruin Ty's birthday week." I said to everyone as they understood giving nods as I looked at them one by one.
