"Yes, I'll let you know when the manager has reviewed you application it should take up to 4-5 business days" i said as formal as I could at the front desk to the evidently exhausted woman with a pushchair.

She just sighed walking away it was at least her seventh time coming in after she sent off her form and bare in mind it has been only 3 days.
I worked as an assistant manager in my cousins hair and beauty salon it's my 4th day here and I wouldn't say I don't like it but it's not something I enjoy.
All I do is sit at the front desk answer calls, greet customers, confirm appointments and if the days short staffed I help with clients.
I mean it's nice to interact with people but when it comes to getting my co workers in line mi just can't bother.
I scanned over the clients list for today on the computer, I saw one was due in 5 minutes with kim.

Brandon was one of the workers I could actually get along with.

I drove home listening to my playlist it soon shuffled to Naldo new song 'Real Life Killa' I didn't really know the lyrics so I just drove listening.
Talking about him we haven't seen each other since that day at the beach I mean he comes over now and then but it's for Jalen.

I got out the car answering my ringing phone.
"Hello" i said now walking into the house.
"Yuh just reach in" Asia said must hearing me close back the door.
"Yeah wahm ?" I said putting down my bag.
"Mummy want mi fi go do some big list ah shopping fi har but mi nuh really feel fi go alone." She said begging something.

I took a quick shower and put on some tight black shorts along with my 2pac graphic t-shirt and slipped on some socks and slides.
"Mi ah leave out know enuh" I heard Jalen said standing at my room door.
"Me too" I said walking past him holding my bag.
"Weh yah guh" he said following behind me down the hall.
"None of your business" i said opening the front door.
My mother had stoped Jalen to talk before he could step out behind me I just turned and made faces at him as he looked like he wanted to box mi dung.

I took my car key out unlocking my car I looked up noticing a familiar car parked across the road.

Before I could close my car door I heard his car beep trying to catch my attention I just ignored it and started my car.
"Not in it wid him today" i said lowly backing out the drive.
I drove off and soon reaching Asia house.

"Bread" I said helping her remember.
"Yeah" she laughed.
We went to where the flour was and the sugar was also kept on that side, Asia pushed the cart and I picked them up putting them inside.
"Woulda think seh mi ah di one ah shop" I said looking at her glued to her phone.
"Hush yuh mouth, badz go live pon instagram and mi want see if ah true Jalen did ah talk seh him deh wid dem fi true." She said holding the phone close to her eyes.
"Let mi see" I said leaning over her shoulder.
"No, Yuh nuh have yuh own phone mi need fi see dis clear wid nobody ah hover dem shade over mi" she said squinting her eyes.
"Chro" I moved from her going in my bag.
I opened my phone making sure to stand to the side so other shopper could pass us.
"Really lie di bwoy lie to mi, mi have di mind fi comment and ask if him nuh deh deh" she said upset.

They were all in the studio but I couldn't see Jalen...But I did see him.
"Watch badz tuff face" I laughed and Asia joined in as well.

"Seet deh" I said scrolling down and finding it for her.
Possible soon came in the camera looking at the name then realised the person and looked at bayka as badz laughed at possible reaction.
"Aye girl yuh bad" possible said.
"Nuh pay dem nuh mind after dem nuh have ah drop of sense" Asia said walking with the trolley now to the till after we got the rest of stuff.
I looked back down at my phone while we waited in the line.
"Ah you she ah talk" possible said to Naldo standing up straight.
"Nuh put me in it Naldo" said not in the camera still.
"Big face bwoy comes inna di camera nuh" i said to myself ignoring the music playing as supporters commented.

"It's better Tyra see one parent and other pon phone call than the both of unuh behind bars she is still clueless about why you are not still in the country and we need to leave it like that" i said trying to keep the peace.
