Sawyer was already in a bad mood, to begin with, after getting beat up by Charles. Now that he noticed a disabled mummy staring at him, anger instantly rose to his chest.

“What are you staring at?! B*tch, do you think I won’t gauge your eyes out?!”

Sophia had only glanced at him briefly and nothing else. Thinking that he was cursing at someone else, she ignored him.

Her reaction only aggravated Sawyer even more. “What’s the meaning of this? Do you think I won’t hit you just because you’re a cripple? You b*tch!”

Why was this useless idiot just the same as Sophia? If you had a broken leg, just stay at home and stay away from people! The more he looked at her, the more furious he got!

He continued cursing under his breath as he walked over, raising his hand ready to hit her.

The nurse quickly came over and stood in front of Sophia to protect her. “Excuse me... Mister, there must be a misunderstanding!”

They were just standing there quietly and they did not even do anything. Why was this person barging at them like a madman all of a sudden?

“F*ck off!”

Sawyer pushed the nurse aside and raised his hand to hit Sophia, but before he lowered his hand, someone grabbed it midair.

“Sawyer, this is my sister’s funeral, can you stop being so shameless stirring trouble up everywhere you go!” Sterling pushed his hand away as he glared at Sawyer sternly.

Caught off guard as his hand was flung away, Sawyer staggered back several steps before he was able to steady himself, and he did not seem happy at all.

He was just beaten up by Charles moments ago because he said one small thing about Sophia, and now just as he was about to punish a stranger who was disrespectful to him, Sterling intervened as well... These people were complete bullies!

“Ms. Griffin, are you hurt?” Nicole came over and asked Sophia.

Sophia shook her head.

“What happened?” Nicole felt a strange sense of relief when she heard that the woman was fine.

The nurse replied angrily, “We were just about to leave but Ms. Griffin insisted on waiting for Ms. White’s funeral to end before we leave, so we were standing here waiting when this man came over all of a sudden and started yelling at Ms. Griffin, even trying to hit her too.”

“You people stuck your nose in when I talked about Sophia. Fine, I won’t say anything then. Yet, I’m just trying to punish this disabled b*tch for provoking me and you want to intervene as well? You don’t even have a say now, do you?”

Sterling snorted as he stepped forward and grabbed Sawyer by his collar. “You just love to get your way and stir sh*t up wherever you go, don’t you!

As long as you’re trying to cause trouble at my sister’s funeral, I won’t let you off easily!”

“Let go of me!” Sawyer struggled free of his grasp and scoffed. “Are you pissed that I’m stirring sh*t up at your sister’s funeral, or are you actually pissed at the fact that I’m scolding this disabled b*tch? After all, there are two good-for-nothing cripples in your family, isn’t it...”

Punch!

Sterling’s expression darkened as he threw a punch at Sawyer’s nose.

Sawyer stumbled backward and wiped his face with his hand. With a menacing look on his face, he snarled out, “Blood! Wow, Sterling, you’re really bringing it!”

He could not offend Harris, but he was certainly sure that he could try to have his way with Sterling White!

With that, the two broke into a fight.

Sawyer was always out and about getting himself into trouble so he was always getting to fights. Hence, the two of them put up quite a good struggle.

Nicole tried to pull them apart but instead, Sawyer kicked her away and she fell to the ground.

Sterling for even more furious when he saw this and threw Sawyer a harsh kick, but the kick did him no justice as Sawyer repaid him with a punch right away.

The nurse was more worried about Sophia’s injuries than stirring trouble.

Before they left the hospital, Victor and Sophia’s attending doctor had reminded them several times not to stay out for too long to avoid her wounds getting infected. If they did, she might get off lucky and recover in a few day’s time, and in the worst-case scenario, her life might be in danger.

Sophia was regretful as well. If she had gone earlier, her brother would not have gotten into a fight with Sawyer because of her.

“You’re too courteous, Ms. Griffin only suffered the acid attack because she wanted to save Soph’s jade pendant, it’s only right for us to help her out this time. If that’s the case, please bring Ms. Griffin back to the hospital right away.”

Nicole spoke quickly and gave Sophia a courteous smile before she hurried away to call the security.

The nurse did not delay either. She pushed Sophia to the van waiting beside the road in front where a few people got out of the car and helped Sophia up the car before they drove off quickly.

Even after the bodyguards arrived at the scene, it took them quite a while and a lot of effort to break apart the fight.

Sawyer and Sterling looked flustered and pathetic, but because Sawyer was already beaten up once by Charles earlier, he looked worse than Sterling.

Mr. Phillips had rushed over and when he saw his son, his heart ached. “Sterling, we attended Sophia’s funeral out of goodwill, yet you and your family kept bullying my son again and again. Don’t you think you crossed the line?!”

“Please!” Sterling spat a mouthful of blood on the floor. “If I had known this is the sort of attitude you have, I wouldn’t have invited you and your family to the funeral! Scram, all of you can get out of here, and don’t you dare take a step into our White family’s home ever again in the future!”

This was not just payback for the woman Soph had helped in the past.

This was mainly for the insults directed at Soph he had heard earlier, just that by the time he came over earlier, Charles had already finished beating Sawyer up and he did not make it in time to throw in a punch.

However, he was given a golden opportunity to fight Sawyer for Sophia’s sake earlier!

Mr. Phillips took his handkerchief out and helped Sawyer wipe away the blood on his face as his expression darkened. “Sterling, you should be more mindful when you talk! I have always treated you as a junior so I never minded your words all along!”

“However, now that you’re the only one left of the White family, every word and every action you make represents the White family as well as White Industries!”

He had said this to scare Sterling, but Sterling was not bothered at all. Instead, he got even more furious.
