Her mom stopped and turned around"avni, tujhe aise bhagna nhi chaiye, tu abhi abhi thik hui hai(avni, you shouldn't be running around like that, you were shot!)"
Avni replied with a gentle smile"i know....but me ab thik hu (I know... But I'm okay now)"
Avni added further"mujhe vo goli tb lgi thi, jb me apne papa ka Liya hua loan chukane ki koshish kr rhi thi, lekin mujhe abhi bhi nhi pta ki unhone vo loan kyu liya tha (i took that bullet while trying to pay back the loan my father took, but still don't know why he did that.)"
She continued getting emotional"mujhe aisa lg rha hai jaise me andhere me hu, maa, aap in logo se itna kyu darti ho?(i feel like I'm in the dark Mom, why are you so scared of these people?)"
Her mom replied in a low voice"avni, kch bate hai jinhe na Jan na he behtar hai (avni, there are a few things that are best left unknown.)"
She added further"jitna zyada tu isme ghusegi, tu khud ko mafia world ki gehrayi me utna he zyada fasati jayegi (the more you dig in, you'll trap yourself deeper in the mafia world.)"
Avni replied "maa, me ab badi ho gyi hu, me sch ko accept kr skti hu, aap kya chupa rhi ho mujhse?(mom, I'm a grown woman now, I'm capable of handling the truth, what are you hiding from me?)"
Her mother got worried"kya tum sch me jan ne ke liye ready ho, avni? (are you sure you're ready to know, avni?)"

Avni raised her eyebrows and replied"me ready hu, ab ye sb mere uper chodd do (I'm ready, just lay it on me.)"
Her mom's lips shiver and avni can sense a hint of hesitation in her eyes, and she placed her hand on her heart and finally spoke up with a great difficulty"mujhe pta tha ki ek na ek din tum apne papa ke bare me jan ne ke liye curious hogi, but mujhe nhi pta tha vo din itna jaldi aa jayega (I knew one day you'd be curious about your father, but I didn't know it would be today.)"
Avni replied staring at the ground"aap isse mujhse hamesha ke liye nhi chupa ke rkh skti, maa(you can't hide it from me forever, mom.)"
Her mom added further"i hope ki sch Jan ne ke bade tu mujhe judge nhi kregi, avni (i hope you don't judge me after knowing the truth, avni.)" and tears started gathering in her eyes.
She continued "avni, tu mujhe bohot choti age me mili thi. Jb me mushkil se 20 saal ki thi to mujhe is amazing man se pyar ho gya, vo ek bohot influential family se belong krta tha. Me pagal thi jo hamare status ka difference nhi dekh payi. Mujhe bache me ya unme se kisi ek ko choose krna tha. Lekin end me,unki family ne mujhe unki life se dur rehne ke liye pese de diye.(I had you really young, avni. when I was barely twenty i fell in love with this amazing man, he came from a very influential family.I was foolish and I failed to see the difference in our status.I had to choose, between the baby or him.but in the end,his family paid me off to stay out of his life.)"
Avni interrupted immediately"or aapne unki rishvat le li? unhone kch kyu nhi bola?? (and you let them bribe you?why didn't he say something)"
her mom replied in a low voice"mere pas ye sb krne ke alava or koi rasta nhi tha. or me unhe is bare me kbhi bta nhi payi.(there was no other way to do it. and i could never tell him about this either.)"
avni immediately interuptted shockingly"to kya mere papa nhi jante ki me unki beti hu?(Â so my father doesn't know i'm his daughter? )"
her mom replied while tears flowing from her eyes"ye sb tere acche ke liye he tha,avni.(Â it was for the best,avni.)"
her mom added further"is bare me sirf bhanushalis he jante hai, or isliye unka ehsan hai mujh pr. isliye mene promise kiya tha ki time aane pr me unki help krungi or ab mujhe unka ehsan chukana hoga. (the only people who knew about this are the bhanushalis and i owe it to them.that's why i promised to help them when time comes, and now i have to pay them back.....)"
avni got shocked listening to all this,

kitty was sitting on the bed, and avni was standing in front of her, talking to her......
avni informed "mujhe is bare me kisi se to bat krni padegi,kitty(i need to talk to someone about this,kitty)"
she added further "i'm really confused"
kitty exclaimed "meooowww"
avni replied worriedly "tum thik keh rhi ho, mujhe bhavik se milne jana padega(you're right, i need to go see bhavik.)"

avni got ready and again went to the bhavik's club, where they visited earlier, hoping to find bhavik there......
avni thought entering in the club "he should be here"
avni feet wander aimlessly until a staff member spots her."excuse me? we have strict instructions that you're not allowed to be here."
avni replied shockingly "what? by whom?"
he replied"mr. vaidya!"
avni thought "looks like bhavik's father really hates me"
Avni replied tensely "fine. can you at least tell me where bhavik is?"

and Avni went out from there, without arguing further.

and avni focuses on his words carefully, trying to overhear his conversation,
bhavik replied"it sounds like,we must take over or they won't take us seriously"
avni thought"that sounds very serious.are they preparing to take revenge from vaibhav?"
just then bhavik noticed avni, standing behind him,"avni? what a pleasent surprise!"
and avni came closer, bhavik added further "pr tum ghr se bhar kya kr rhi ho? tumhe ghr pe aaram krna chaiye na?(but what are you doing out of your house,you're supposed to be resting.)" and affectionately snakes an arm around her waist and plants a soft kiss on her shoulder, instantly making her heart flutter. And asked "ab tabiyat kesi hai tumhari? (how are you feeling now?)"
Avni replied blushing"me bohot jaldi jaldi thik ho rhi hu. I'm much better. (I'm recovering very fast. I'm much better.)"
Bhavik interrupted"lekin tum yha kyu aayi? Tum mujhe call bhi kr skti thi na. (but why did you come here? you could have just called me )"
Avni replied awkwardly"mujhe sch me aapse immediately milna tha isliye pr fir pta chla ki aapke papa ne aapke club me mere liye restricted orders de rkhe hai (i really needed to see you and turns out your father has a restraining order against me at your club.)"
Bhavik informed sadly"vaibhav ke sath us din jo kch hua tha, uske bade se papa ye sb kr rhe hai. Kyunki vaibhav ki family hamari sbse badi supporter thi or ab vo mera Jan leva dushman ban gya hai.(after everything that happened with Vaibhav, my father is going through it.vaibhav's family was our biggest ally and now he's turned into my mortal enemy.)"
Avni asked "kya ye call isi bare me tha?(is that what the phone call was about?)"
Bhavik replied"tumhe in sb chizo ki tension lene ki zarurat nhi hai. Me tumhe or stress nhi dena chahta (it's nothing you should worry about. i don't want to stress you out even more.)"
Avni replied"really bhavik? Mujhe lga tha aapko mujh pe trust hai. Or agr aap sch me stress ki vjh se bol rhe ho, to don't worry me stress handle kr lungi, me jan na chahti hu(really bhavik? i thought you trusted me. and if it is really about stress then don't worry i can handle the stress, I wanna know.)"
Bhavik assured immediately"of course, me tumpe trust krta hu, avni. Me bs tumhari protection ke liye nhi btana chahta (of course I do, this is only to protect you.)"
He added further"don't worry, is matter ko mujhe khud he handle krna hoga (don't worry, this is something I need to handle on my own.)"
Avni replied getting tensed"i guess aap sahi keh rhe ho! kyunki Abhi mere pas or bhi bohot chize hai stress lene ke liye (i guess you're right! and right now I have more things to worry about.)"
Bhavik interrupted"yha bohot thand hai, chlo mere office me, vahi bat krte hai(it's too cold out here, let's talk in my office.)"

Avni asked entering inside"so ye aapka office hai huh?(so this is your office huh?)"
Bhavik replied closing the door from inside"ye mafia world me hamare business ke liye secret headquarter bhi hai (these are also the undercover headquarters for our business in mafia world.)"

Bhavik smiles while softly caressing her cheeks with the back of his palm. Her lips copy his sweet smile but not until her eyes move to an envelope lying on his table.
On his table lies a cocktail party invite to introduce his bride, isha, to the public.
Avni's heart pains as she realised that their engagement is already done.
Avni took the envelope in her hand and replied "I guess shadi abhi bhi hone vali hai, Hena? Lucky jo hai vo. (i guess the wedding is still on, huh? lucky her.)"
Bhavik replied tensely"kitni bhuri kismat hai na? (how unfortunate right?)"
He informed"even us din vaibhav ki itni perfect timing ke bade bhi, papa zidd pe ade hai ki shadi jese decide Hui thi vese he hogi (even when vaibhav got the timing right, my father still insisted this wedding goes on as planned.)"
He added further worriedly"me ye sb nhi chahta tha, tumhe pta hai na?(i wanted none of this, you know that right?)"
Avni replied rudely"mujhe ab aapki bato pe belive nhi ho rha, bhavik (I'm having a hard time believing your words now, bhavik.)"
Bhavik replied with a gentle smile"agr tumhe mere words pe believe nhi ho rha to me tumhe apne actions pe belive krvaunga (if you can't believe my words, then I'll make you believe my actions.)" and hugs her waist and spreads light kisses on her cheeks, ear, and neck. The way his lips glide to her skin makes her breath hitch.
Avni thought "one kiss from him can instantly melt my anger away!"
Avni replied in a rude tone "me abhi bhi aapse gussa hu!(I'm still mad at you!)"
Bhavik replied in a flirty tone "in that case, tumhe thda better feel krvate hai(in that case, let me make you feel a little bit better.)" and his hand teasingly caress her back, drawing slow and lazy circles along her shoulder blades and instantly setting her body on fire."is duniya me mere liye tumhare alawa koi dusri ladki nhi hai! (there's no other woman for me in this world but you!)"
