Back In avni's room,
Avni thought "I still don't know what rama ji meant by her promise."
Avni looked at the clock and saw that it's already 5 am and she didn't sleep the whole night.
Just then kitty meowd, and jumped from the bed and come to avni. Avni took her in her lap and started talking to her "tumhe pta hai aaj kya hai, kitty? Aaj bhavik ki engagement hai(you know what day it is, Kitty? it's the day of bhavik's engagement.)"
Avni disappointedly caress Kitty's fur as it pleasantly meowd and rubs it's legs on her lap.
They say pets can boost your mood and this is the only thing that can keep avni normal now.
Avni thought "the thought of bhavik marrying another girl makes my heart bleed" and again got upset and put kitty on the bed.
She thought further "there's still time to tell bhavik that his marriage with isha is just a trap. I have to find a way"

The next morning,
Avni went downstairs in the living room after getting ready, she noticed that everyone in the mansion was busy in the preparations for the engagement, and all the servants were running here and there preparing.....
Avni ignored all that and was about to go from there but Just then rama came to avni stopping her in the way, and asked rudely "hey you! Kha ja rhi ho tum? (Hey you! Where are you going?)"
Avni replied shrugging her shoulders with an emotionless face"college! I know ki aap mujhe yha nhi dekhna chahogi jb sb aaj rat ki engagement party ki preparation me busy hai (to college! I'm sure you wouldn't want me around here while everyone's super busy prepping for tonight's party.)"
Rama replied raising her eyebrows in the same rude tone "thik hai, jao! Or aaj rat, me umid krti hu ki tum ek kone me kagaz ki gudiya ki tarah chup chap khadi rhogi (fine,go! and tonight, i expect you to stand in one corner like a paper doll.)"
Rama added further"tumhara already bohot drama ho gya hai, avni(I've had enough of your drama, avni.)"
Avni just nodded in yes without arguing further and went from there.

In the college classroom,
The class was going on but Avni and pallavi was not paying attention on it and discussing about something.....
Pallavi replied "mujhe to believe he nhi ho rha hai ki Bhavik ko ye sb jhelna pd rha hai, use ye engagement rokni hogi (i can't believe bhavik's going through with this engagement, he has to stop it.)"
Avni informed"I'm not sure ki vo aisa kr skta hai. vo kl rat dinner ke bich se gusse me bhar nikl gya tha (I'm not sure if he has the ability to do that.he stormed out of the dinner last night.)"
Pallavi facepalmed and replied"dammit! I hope ki tu koi rasta dhund legi use btane ka ki isha uske liye thik nhi hai (dammit, i hope you can find a way to show him how unsuitable isha is for him.)"
Just then the professor interrupted angrily"miss avni and miss pallavi, is your life more interesting than economics?"

After the college, At pallavi's house.....
Avni replied tensely "I wish me yehi ruk pati, pallavi. Bhanushali mansion me sb engagement ki preparation me lge hue hai paglo jese (I wish I can stay here, pallavi. tha Bhanushali's mansion is going crazy with the engagement prep.)"
And pallavi suddenly realised and exclaimed"tujhe engagement party ke liye ready hona start kr dena chaiye tha na ?(shouldn't you start getting ready for that?)"
Avni replied tensely"me soch rhi thi vha nhi jati hu or aaj rat tere sath he ruk jati hu yha (i think I'm gonna skip and stay here with you tonight.)"
Pallavi ordered strictly"oh hell no, vha tera Banda us r**di isha se engagement kr rha hoga or tu yha mu latka ke bethi rhegi?(oh hell no, you're not gonna sulk here while your man gets engaged to that wench isha.)"
Pallavi added further"chinta mt kr, me bhi tere sath chl rhi hu (don't worry, I'm coming with you. )"
Avni asked shockingly"wait, Seriously?"
Pallavi replied "of course, dude! I'll be your plus one or ham sbki backbitching krenge (of course, duh! I'll be your plus one and we can shit talk about everyone.)"
Avni whispered in Pallavi's ears"believe me, tere pas bat krne ke liye bohot kch hoga (believe me, you'll have A LOT to talk about.)"And both of them started laughing.
Pallavi suggested"chl, ab tere liye koi katilana outfit dhundte hai! Tujhe Aaj use apni trf attract krna hai! (let's find you a killer outfit too! you gotta turn heads tonight!)"
And avni and pallavi got ready for the engagement.

Pallavi complimented "tu sch me bohot hot lg rhi hai (you're looking dangerously hot)"
Avni complimented "tu bhi acchi lg rhi hai! But mujhe lgta hai me thda zyada he ready ho gyi hu (you're Looking good too!But I think I am a little too ready)"
Pallavi replied"arey nhi yehi thik hai. Tu vese bhi pretty lg rhi hai. Or afterall tere bhavik ki engagement hai (that's..... okay. you look beautiful regardless.And after all it is your Bhavik's engagement)"
Avni replied irritatedly"hn pr mere sath nhi kisi or ke sath hai (but not with me, with someone else)"
And pallavi started laughing and avni rolled her eyes childishly.
Pallavi added further"let's go now"
And both of them went from there.

In the engagement party,
The party was held at a big wedding hall, everything looks beautiful, decorated to perfection.
Isha and bhavik stand among the crowd of guests, isha pop a sweet smile, hiding her rotten personality.
Avni and pallavi was standing in a corner. Pallavi was having a glass of champagne in her hand but avni was standing quietly with a sulky face.
Pallavi replied consoling her "bestie, ye ek party hai pr Tera face dekh ke aisa lg rha hai jese tu kisi ke funeral me aayi hai (bestie, this is supposed to be a party but your face looks like it's a funeral.)"
Pallavi forces among the crowd before giving avni a glass of champagne in her hand.
Avni replied sadly "pallavi, ye engagement party nhi mere liye torture hai. Me yha rukna he nhi chahti. Me yha rehne ki jgh kisi ke funeral me Jana psnd krungi (pallavi , this engagement party is torture for me. i don't even want to be here. I'd rather be at a funeral than here.)" and took a sip of champagne.
Pallavi consoled"cheer up, bro. Ye sirf engagement hai, ye Mt bhul ki ham yha kyu aay hai (cheer up, bro. this is just the engagement, don't forget why we're here.)"
Pallavi added further looking at Bhavik and isha "sch kahu to, vha pe dhule Raja bhi khush nhi dikh rhe (to be fair, mr. groom over there doesn't look very thrilled.)"
Pallavi continued with a horrific expression"or tune isha ka makeup dekha? Bapre kitna daravna lg rha hai (and have you seen isha's makeup? horrendous!)"
But avni didn't laugh at any joke either. Avni's eyes move to bhavik who is just giving a sad expression while talking to some guests. His face stands In sharp contrast to his soon-to-be bride who is all smiles.
Pallavi ordered "tu sari rat aise ek kone me khadi nhi reh skti, ander ja or bhavik se bat kr (you can't be standing in a corner all evening, go inside and talk to bhavik.)"
Avni thought"I need to find a way to stop this engagement before it's too late!" And took a deep breath.
So, bhavik's engagement is about to happen now.
But still it's not too late now. Will avni be able to do something? Or bhavik will be engaged to isha?
