The animal seemed to tense up and become nervous again.

Luz knew that it would be difficult to open the trap to free the animal, it was not weak, but it did not enjoy so much strength and the process of liberation would be more painful than if someone with more strength would open the trap, that is why she again spoke to the animal saying “This will probably be painful, but I will give all my effort to be quick and free you from this terrible trap”.

Her prediction was true, she had a hard time opening it and several times she loosened it and due to lack of strength it closed again, sticking again in the animal's flesh, who cried and moaned at every unsuccessful attempt. In spite of this the dog did not bite her, somehow it understood that the human wanted to help.

Finally, after a strenuous struggle, she managed to open the trap enough for the animal to free its paw. It cried for a minute, licked its wounds and as soon as it saw Luz approaching to take it, it gave a short growl and ran away in a hurry, going even deeper into the forest.

- Wait, you're hurt, don't run, let me help you! I'll take you to the vet!

The puppy stopped for a moment, turned to look at her and then continued running away from her wildly.

Luz ran after her, thinking that, if she did not catch up, the paw wound would become infected and the animal would meet an agonizing death, she did not want that outcome, she definitely could not forgive it.

The animal was faster, but she would not give up. She kept running and calling the cub, in her desperation to catch it, she put her sight only in front following the animal, not seeing the danger that was approaching her feet, she felt something slippery and with the inertia of her body her feet moved back and forth and with her hands creating circles like birds when they want to fly to keep their balance unsuccessfully all this to finally slip in a large puddle of soft and sticky mud with a slight putrid stench, the scene was just like in the comic strips, her right foot slid quickly forward and she was lifted into the air, while her buttocks and back hit the mud. While the scene was happening, Luz shouted - Hay, no, no, no, no! #Paf#.

The creature upon hearing the blow stopped and looked towards Luz, while the woman was trying to stand up again, she slipped again and fell on her face, she did not manage to protect her face and hit the muddy mud. The creature thought it was funny, tilting its head and ears back and forth while wagging its tongue from the excitement of the race. Luz looked it in the eyes and for a moment thought to catch the puppy's attention and got up again more carefully so as not to fall. She managed to take three steps out of the puddle with her body and giant clothes covered in mud when a strange sound appeared, the cub raised her eyes to the sky and saw a big branch fall and hit Luz's head. He didn't even manage to protect himself, everything happened so fast, his vision blurred and he fell to the ground unconscious.

Behind the puppy, there were four huge wolves that approached the puppy and transformed into their human form.

- Finally we found you Aliana! You had everyone in the pack worried, especially your brother, the Alpha would rip our heads off if anything bad happened to you - Spoke Xioma, the Beta of the Blue Moon pack and the second in command of this one. - Since you woke up your she-wolf six months ago you run away from the pack and go alone into the forest, you give us no respite knowing that it is dangerous.

- Do you forgive me Xioma? - He indicates through his mental link, speaking to her with a tone somewhere between pleading and mischievousness.

Since her fifteenth birthday, Aliana has been able to transform into the wolf she had longed for since she was a child, she has been so happy that she escapes almost every day from the pack running and exploring the surrounding forest being careful never to go deep enough to encounter dangerous creatures as they are much deeper in the dense forest. In his adolescent and fearless mind he considered Xioma's warnings to be an exaggeration.

Xioma, Aliana and the other wolves were communicating only through their mental link as in her wolf state she could not articulate words, while it was considered completely normal to see a werewolf naked, it was very different and unfair to females, they were allowed nudity only in their wolf form, but in no way could they do so in their female form.

While holding Aliana in his arms, the Beta noticed the blood on the puppy's hind leg and could distinguish her pain when she retracted her leg when examined by him.

- What happened? - The Beta asks the puppy still in his arms.

Werewolves have an incredible ability to heal and he felt concern to see that despite all the time they had been talking she still hadn't healed - Your wounds should have healed by now! he added.

Aliana sadly explained to him that she went running into the forest alone in the safe zone, but without realizing it her paw fell into a trap, this one was silver and she felt the crippling pain. Being silver, a shapeshifter is blocked and cannot transform, in this case he could not change from wolf to woman, he had no hands, only paws and with these it was impossible for him to open it.

Aliana had not finished telling the story when one of the warriors shouted:

-Beta, I see a monster or witch around here.

The soldier was not sure what the creature was, since he could see on the ground an amorphous mass with a humanoid shape and covered with a thick and thick layer of foul-smelling mud. This was all because of its broad, mud-covered clothes.

- What is it? - In a tone of surprise and concern asked Boris who was one of the warriors.

Through her mind-link Aliana commented that she wasn't sure who it was, but he followed her to this spot and froze when a branch hit his head.

- Bring him in! - Xioma spoke with a dark tone. - I'll talk to the Alpha so he can decide what to do with it.

While all this scene was happening, Aliana's paw began to heal, her delay was due to the silver in the trap and when she was released she was happy to get better. She was in a very good mood, even though the Beta was lecturing her about the dangers of the forest and that she would be strictly forbidden to escape again, even more so with the current events. With all this, the cub forgot the girl who helped her escape.

And so disaster struck.
