âDamn it⦠how long is he planning to keep this on?â@@novelbin@@
Even though Iâd barely spoken a word to Karahamâif thatâit had been enough for the magical device to activate. Despite intentionally moving away to avoid triggering Ethanâs suspicions, the vibrations in my body showed no signs of stopping.
It couldâve been that Iâd moved too far for Ethan to send the deactivation signal, but honestly, I was pretty sure he just didnât want to turn it off.
He was dead set on monitoring my every move. This wasnât just devotionâit was borderline obsessive.
âHonestly⦠itâs only because itâs him that I put up with this.â
I shouldâve known when he brought that contraption along instead of a proper outfit.
If heâd done this to any other noblewoman, heâd have been slapped before the thing even went in. The only reason I let it slide was that I understood Ethanâs tendencies.
While his delinquent streak from the original story had been nearly erased, his enjoyment of treating women this way clearly lingered. As long as it didnât escalate, I could handle it.
In the past, I might have scolded him thoroughly to break this bad habit, but now I was his wife. If I could tolerate it, there wasnât much need to change him. Not that I enjoyed this childish game, of course.
