Chapter 853
âDon't forget to keep this a secret,â Samuel reminded him.
Realizing that he had just revealed the plan out loud, Justin flashed him an awkward smile and said
softly, âGot it, I'll be sure to keep it a secret!â
âThings are going to be completely different starting tomorrow...â
Justin nodded profusely in agreement. Of course things are going to be different! Once she accepts his
proposal, he will be entering a new chapter of his life!
Justin quickly gave Natalie a call right after Samuel left the greenhouse.
âHello?â
âGuess who?â Justin responded in a deep voice.
Natalie rolled her eyes as she said, âCut it out, Justin! I don't have time for this. Do you have something
to tell me or what? If not, I'll be hanging up now.â
Justin said excitedly, âOh, you bet I do! Sam wants you to come over to the greenhouse tomorrow at
seven! He wants me to keep this a secret from you, but I already let it slip the last time, so... I figured
there's no point in beating around the bush about this. Still...â
âStill what?â Natalie asked with a smile.
âNatalie, Sam worked really hard to prepare this surprise for you. You mustn't act like you already know
what this is about! Sam will kill me if he knows I let you in on this secret!â Justin explained.
Of course, Natalie couldn't care less if Samuel would have Justin's head. She simply didn't want his
hard work and effort to be in vain.
I bet Samuel must've been planning this thing for a really long time, huh? Maybe he's been cold to me
lately so he could see the look of surprise on my face! If this is what he wants, then I shall do my best
to act like I don't know about it!
With that in mind, Natalie deliberately replied in a helpless tone, âOh, all right... I suppose I could play
dumb to save you this once...â
âThank you so much, Natalie! By the way, I do have a little suggestion. Tomorrow will be a big day for
both you and Sam, so I was thinking of helping you pick out a dress that'll charm his head off!â Justin
said excitedly.
Sensing that Natalie was hesitating, he added, âStop hesitating, Natalie! Sam may not admit it, but I'm
sure he'd be overjoyed if he sees you looking pretty!â
âOkay, then.â
âI'll come pick you up at four tomorrow!â Justin hung up the phone after that.
Natalie could be seen grinning from ear to ear when Ross came over to have her sign some
documents.
âMs. Nichols, did something pleasant just happen?â he asked instinctively.
âSomething like that! Samuel is going to propose to me tomorrow evening! I bet we'll become a legally
married couple really soon!â Natalie replied while receiving the documents from him.
She then signed them before handing them back to Ross, but Ross seemed a little slow when he
reached out to take it.
âWhat's the matter, Ross?â
âNo, it's nothing.â Ross took a moment to regain his composure before continuing with a smile, âI was
just feeling happy for you, that's all. You and Samuel have been through a lot, so it's nice to see you
two finally get married.â
Natalie broke into a smile. âYeah! I'm glad that the dark days are over, and I'm really looking forward to
our married life together! I won't come into work tomorrow, so you'll have more work to handle.â
âNo problem.â
Ross knew full well that it was time for him to let go of his feelings for her.
Time soon went by, and it was already four in the afternoon the next day.
Natalie saw Justin pull up in a Porsche Panamera at the location they agreed to meet at.
Justin then got out of the driver's seat and bowed chivalrously at her as he helped opened the door.
âAfter you, Mrs. Bowers.â
âSamuel hasn't even proposed to me, and you're already addressing me as 'Mrs. Bowers?'â Natalie
asked with a mischievous grin.
âThat's fine! You two are going to get married sooner or later, so you're bound to become Mrs. Bowers
anyway! What's the problem?â Justin replied confidently.
