Lucca
I wake up finally, in a carseat and dazed. I look around and see Mr.Knight and Ethan. I just lay there, too tired to move any part of my body. About 5 minutes later we arrive at a massive building, there's a fountain out front, flowers...guards. Why are there guards at a building like this? "Alright kiddo, ready to see your new home?" Ethan says. I guess they knew I was awake. I don't say anything as he unbuckles me and holds me closely. "Put me down...." I mumble quietly, he doesn't, he bounces me slightly and holds me still. "Put me down!" He pauses and sets me on the flat ground, my legs wobble a bunch, I guess the sedatives had an effect. I get picked back up. "Behave Lucca, I know you want to walk but the sedative is still taking over you honey." He bounces me and holds me close as we go into the building, it's like a palace! It's beautiful! The floors are marble, there's big fancy lights with crystals, it's also massive. We go to the living room, there's a group of people sitting there. There's also a playpen set up. The moment they see us they run over, and it gets loud quickly. "Oh he's so cute!" One voice says. "He looks so small..." Another says. Then one more voice, "Did he travel well? He looks knocked out." I look back sleepily, an older man, 35? A young woman, 22 and another man, 27 ish. I look up at Ethan. He doesn't look at me but he does lay me down in the playpen that's like a nest. "He looks so tired..." The girl says. "Yeah, he gets really plane sick, and that plus the stress of moving to a whole new place to start a brand new life was going to equal some form of sick. So I just stuck him with a sedative to take the edge off and make the whole thing easier on him." Mr.Knight spoke as he looked down at me. It's not wrong, I can't handle planes. But I also REALLY hate needles! I just didn't want to be stuck... however it did make it easier. I just sit there pouting. I get out on the ground and I go crawl around a bit, wanting to explore.
Ethan
I watch Lucca crawl off, he goes to explore. Then I hear Rose, "So, have you told him you run a mafia?" Alex shakes his head. We didn't plan to. "No, not yet. We should though, he deserves to know." She nods. I look over at Lucca and he's just chilling by the fireplace, thankfully it isn't lit. "Baby, I know it's not lit but be careful!" I tell him, he crawls over towards us then gets distracted by something off in the distance. "Rose, you okay?" I ask as she watches him intently. "Mhm...he's just so damn cute!" I hear Alex chuckle slightly as he turns on Dragon Tales, aperently, our baby's favorite cartoon because he came crawling over to the TV like a maniac. "Daddy! Dada! DRAGONS!" He shouts and looks at us. "Mhm, dragons baby!" He smiles so happily. "Daddy! Big dragon! Cassie Dragon!" He shouts so happily, he put his paci in his mouth and made himself cozy in the floor. I turn to the group. "So, who's making dinner?" I ask, Kaden quickly hops up. "Me, it's been too long since I got to-" he was quickly interrupted by yelling. "Daddy! Dada! ZACK AND WHEEZEY!" He kicks his legs and points at the two headed dragon. I hear Rose laugh as she gets up to go join him on the floor. He looks up at her and flops against her like she's a pillow. Meanwhile Kaden has already started on dinner. Steak and baked potatoes. Eventually two episodes go by... we're called for dinner, Rose is gonna deal with the baby. "Rose, you're up."
Rose
"Okay Lucca, it's dinner time honey." He looks up at me with a pout. "No! Dragons!" He points at the TV. "No Mister, it is not TV time it's dinner time. You can watch it later." He shakes his head and crosses his arms, turning away. "So that's how it's gonna be? Fine." I scoop him up gently and go right to the dinner table, setting him into the chair with a harness made to resemble a highchair. Also right in-between his daddies. He sits there for a few moments, not happy and whining, pointing at the TV and talking his daddy's ear off to be let over there. "No baby, it's dinner time." Alex says. He shakes his head no. "No! Daddy no!" Alex unfastens him and puts him in his lap. "Baby you listen to me and you listen well. It is dinner time and that means we do not watch TV, we sit and we eat." Alex says, as stern as he can. Lucca pauses, nods and Alex put him back in his chair, fastening him in. "Can you eat in your own or do you want me to feed you?" He asks with a softer tone, Lucca picks up a small already cut bite of steak on his fork. "Thank you, good boy." We all eat our own food. Lucca, after a moment, then continues on, eating his food. After dinner Lucca is let go, but Dragon Tales is over...damn dies that cause a commotion, so much so that Ethan decided it's just time for Lucca to get a bath and go to bed. Again, not a smart idea. But after around an hour and a half of fusses and cries Lucca is upstairs in his new nursery, crying slightly as Alex gets him down.
Alex
I sigh as Lucca yet again spits his paci out, honestly I'm just glad he hasn't fallen OUT of little space yet, I've heard of littles getting so worked up they force themselves out, but I don't want that for him. I put it back into his mouth and adjust a weighted blanket on to Lucca, I turn on some music and eventually... he's done. He's asleep, he's out, boom. Done.
"Alex, he's not ready to know."
