AURORA

“They’re healing well, but I need to be careful,” he murmured to himself.

“I’ll be okay. But are you sure your shoulder’s alright?”

I was concerned about him. The last thing we needed was for him to injure himself further.

“I already told you, it’s not bothering me.” Rin was on top of me, kissing me passionately. I wrapped my legs around his waist, moaning as I felt his hardness against me. This seemed to excite him even more, and he gave me a playful smile as he pulled back a bit. “You want this just as much as I do, don’t you?”

“You know I do,” I replied, my voice shaky as he pressed against me.

Rin kissed my neck gently, then whispered in my ear.

“I don’t like to rush, but I need you. It’s almost unbearable.”

I could feel his need as he pressed against me again. He was already hard. This excited me even more, and I let go of his waist and reached for his underwear, freeing his large erection. He gasped as I touched him, sitting back to give me room as I sat up and began to stroke him.

I leaned down and kissed him before taking him into my mouth, hearing his soft moan. His hands roamed over my back as I continued to pleasure him, then moved to my underwear, pulling them down. I managed to wriggle out of them, moaning as he touched me.

I finally pulled away, leaning back against his fingers as he continued to touch me.

“Rin…it feels so good…”

“Lie back for me,” he purred. “I can’t wait any longer.”

I wasn’t about to deny him. I lay back on the bed, letting him spread my legs. I groaned as he entered me, filling me completely. Rin was over me, his hips moving rhythmically as he began to thrust.

“Oh God, yes! More!” I pleaded, gripping his sides as I moved with him.

Rin’s thrusts quickened, and I clung to him tighter as we moved together, lost in the pleasure. He leaned down and kissed me again, his tongue exploring mine.

“My beautiful Amore,” he whispered against my lips. “Now you’re truly forever mine!”

I cried out as he thrust deep into me, our bodies moving together in a sensual rhythm. My climax was building quickly, and I didn’t know how much more I could take.

Rin seemed to sense this too, continuing his rhythm while squeezing my breast and sucking my nipple. My heart was pounding, and I was sure he could feel it.

“Don’t stop! I’m almost there!” I managed to whisper.

“Come with me, Amore!” Rin gasped.

I couldn’t hold back any longer. My body tensed, shaking as my climax hit. This caused Rin to tense up too, and I heard him cry out as he came, his release filling me. I arched into him, lost in the ecstasy of his warmth inside me.

I couldn’t believe how much I’d missed this. I was completely lost in this beautiful, sinful act with him.

“Ah, that was…” Rin struggled to catch his breath, “incredible…”

I lay under him, my chest heaving as I stroked his damp red hair. He was so handsome, and his eyes were so beautiful, especially when they were glowing with pleasure. It was amazing how much he reminded me of a human.

But I was glad he wasn’t. No human man could ever make me feel like this, could ever love me like he did. I was certain of that.

“Please, don’t ever leave me, Rin,” I pleaded.

“I won’t, and I promise I won’t scare you anymore,” Rin replied. He leaned down and kissed me, a soft, lingering kiss that was more loving than lustful. “But I swear I’ll always protect you, no matter what happens.”

I touched his lips. “I know you will. Just remember that I can take care of myself too. I don’t want to be helpless. I’ve had enough of that in my life.”

“I know, and I won’t stop you from getting stronger, physically and mentally. Just don’t push yourself too hard. I’m still your alpha, and it’s my job to protect you,” Rin reminded me. He was smiling contentedly now, and his eyes were more peaceful than I’d ever seen them.

“I’ll hold you to that promise,” I agreed.

Rin kissed me a few more times. “I hate to say it, but we should get up and clean up. My father will want to talk about what’s happening, and he’s not the most patient luna dog when things are stressful.”

I could imagine. Jekia may have been accepting of me, but I could tell he was a strong leader who didn’t back down or let things drag on. He was clearly angry at Emelio for not telling him more about Lady Flora’s suspicious death.

“I believe it,” I replied. I moaned softly as Rin finally pulled out of me. “There are things I want to know more about too.”

I wanted to mention that I hoped things wouldn’t be awkward with Rayne, but decided against it. Our morning was going so well, I didn’t want to ruin it by bringing up those issues.

“I get it, but let’s tackle one problem at a time. Everything will work out. We’ll deal with that witch, then we’ll build a happy life here,” Rin assured me, as he lay next to me.

“All I want is a happy life here with you,” I admitted.

“And that’s exactly what we’ll have. I’m sure of it.”

I knew things wouldn’t get easier anytime soon, especially with Lila still trying to manipulate me. The lump in my throat was a constant reminder of that. But I also realized how much stronger I’d become, and now that I was fully Rin’s beta, I wasn’t about to back down to her or anyone else. I’d fight back, even if it meant confronting Lila alone, if it meant preserving this happiness I’d finally discovered.
