All about Devon

GROWING UP GROWN425 words~3 min read

So you know that usual middle school dating thing? Yeah I got a little too involved.

Devon and I were just talking and I don't really remember how it all happened. but it did. Everyone knew about us. My 8th grade year was quite eventful with him.

Now, it wasn't just a publicity relationship like the one u had when u were in middle school. He was so supportive of everything I did. He made me feel like I was the greatest thing in the world. He gave me compliments, hugs, lots of kisses, and most importantly - attention!

If you knew our places on the "middle school popularity food chain" you would know that we were never meant to even become friends but we were more than that and that is what upset everyone.

I was a friendless celebrity. Everyone knew me and wanted something but no one wanted to be my friend. Pat and John moved me into their house where I was now given luxuries and nice things. I felt like the Fresh Princess of DelaWHERE.

Devon was a cool kid, pretty smart, cute, and just a good guy. He fit in with the cool kids. They all had one thing in common, they lived in the ghetto - Harrington. If you lived anywhere in the ghetto, you were hood which made you cool. This is where you get all the suburban wanabees that swore they was from the slums. I was a boujee girl from Felton who lived in a nice house with a lot of yard.

as me and Devon talked more, other people wanted in too. You know how once you in a relationship, everyone want u, but when u single everyone treat you like a wet dollar bill at the strip club. All washed up and stepped on and lonely.

There was a kid from the real slums of Harrington -Greenwood. His name was Jordan Dixon. Jordan was a badass who just didn't give a fuck. He was destined to become a product of the system. He came from a family who didn't give a fuck. He lived in a country who didn't give a fuck about him- but so did everyone else. He used his background as a crutch and that to this day hasn't gotten him anywhere. All of a sudden, this low-life piece of shit wanted a piece of Trinity.  I got his mugshot so u can see what I'm talkin bout. Jordan really ain't shit. But at the time I just wanted the attention
