Chapter 4 Within two hours!

All the top organizations and forces from all over the world had received the news.

The fact that all Dragon Temple members were gathered in one place was incredibly shocking to all.

Thus, everyone immediately made arrangements to prepare themselves. No matter what the purpose was, it was an absolutely big deal that the Dragon Temple members were assembled in Frogua.

In fact, it might even result in a huge impact!

Because of Alpha 1’s phone call, the number of people experiencing insomnia that night had increased dramatically.

Almost everyone was paying attention to Frogua, while all the country leaders were practically at the brink of mental breakdown.

Even the foreign forces felt this much pressure, let alone Apren City, the epicenter of the storm at the moment.

Who would have thought that countless people in the world would lose sleep over a call made by a little girl two hours ago?

Following this, security measures in Apren City had already been heightened long ago.

This included the city center, the Eastern suburbs, the areas near the foot of the mountain, as well as the villa area.

In an incomparably luxurious villa, Joseph had already woken up with a pale face!

After opening the door, Joseph stood at the entrance to the room.

His daughter was so adorable that his cold heart melted.

Looking at Joseph, the female doctor was surprised because she had examined his body conditions earlier.

However, Joseph woke up in only an hour.

He was signaling her to speak outside.

Joseph nodded in agreement. “This injury means nothing to me! How is my daughter? Is there any problem with her health?”

Noticing his perfunctory attitude toward his own body, and a completely opposite attitude toward his daughter, the female doctor was shocked.

Indeed, Joseph did not care about his own health at all. What kind of person was he?

Earlier, Joseph exuded an imposing aura.

However, when it came to the little girl, he seemed particularly gentle. Indeed, the contradiction was stark.

“As she was frightened, she will be fine after a night of good sleep and have her nutrition replenished,” the female doctor replied.

It appeared that Joseph was too anxious.

Hearing this, Joseph breathed a sigh of relief. “Thank you very much. During this period of time, please take care of her here. As for your losses, I will compensate you ten times the reward.”

After thanking her, Joseph continued asking the female physician to look after his daughter.

“Mr. Dawson, how are you doing now?”

“I’m fine.” Joseph nodded indifferently. “Have you investigated where Paige is yet?”

With the mention of this name, a deep sense of guilt flashed across his eyes.

Alpha 1 sounded agitated. “Five years ago, Paige gave birth to a daughter. Then, she was kicked out of her family. Two years ago, she came here to work.”

“Some time ago, a man named Jaylah Kennedy liked her very much, but he was rejected. Thus, Jaylah tried to threaten her by kidnapping her daughter!”

“Paige has a close friend whose family background is quite wealthy here. Her name is Bethany Parry. Paige is in her house now.”

Glancing at Joseph’s face, Alpha 1 continued, “Ten minutes ago, Jaylah discovered that one of his men was killed. Now, he is probably sending men to the Parry residence to get Paige to his side. I’ve sent two of our men to rush over...”

Joseph’s whole body surged with killing intent. The moment he was about to speak, there was a commotion at the entrance.

As soon as Alpha 1 went out, he reported, “It’s Felix!”

Noticing how confused Joseph looked, Alpha 1 explained, “He is the one who left us four years ago and returned to Frogua! Do you want him to come in?”

“Let’s go and have a look together.” Joseph nodded as he seemed to have finally recalled who Felix was.

Just as Joseph stood up, there was another sound of several cars braking outside the door, and the distance was getting closer and closer.

“Felix, how dare you!” Alpha 1 shouted intimidatingly.

Outside the villa, the fully-armed Dragon Temple members were confronting Felix and dozens of officers.

Although they were outnumbered, the Dragon Temple warriors did not show any sign of fear.

If they were to fight, these officers would not be their match at all.

While both sides were fully-armed, the officers had relatively low morale.

Felix and the men behind him all looked solemn.

Pointing at the leader of these officers, Felix shouted, “B*stard, who sent you here? Who gave you the guts to do such things?”

“Get the h*ll out of here right now! Get as far as possible!”

The chief amongst the officers, Toby King, was full of shock. Someone had committed murder, so he brought a team to capture the perpetrator. Was there a problem with that?

However, he had never expected that Felix would suddenly become angry.

After all, Felix was the operations commander, an important position in the military. Why did he suddenly appear in such a small place?

In fact, even Toby’s superiors had to lower their heads in respect when they saw Felix.

“Sir, what’s going on? Who is inside the villa?”

At this time, Joseph, who was dressed in an all-black outfit, came out of the villa and looked at Felix and others. “General Felix, are you here to arrest me?”

Joseph sounded calm, but Felix could not help but tremble in fear.

Bang!

What stunned Toby was that the commander of military operations knelt directly in front of Joseph.

“No, I...” Felix choked up and said, “I heard that you were injured, so I wanted to visit you and your daughter.”
