“Wait a minute. There’s a problem.” Kevin can’t help but to interrupt their conversation. “Just now Troy told me that someone was spreading rumour that I was poisoned and needed an antidote. I’ve only gotten to know about this yesterday night. So, who knew about this earlier than me?”

Kevin is immersed in his analysis. He turns and looks suspiciously towards Jonathan.

Jonathan understands his gaze immediately. He smiles and explains, “I only know about this yesterday.”

Kevin can only analyze in another direction. “That means, the person spreading rumour is not Bella but the murderer.”

He thinks about it for a while. When he’s certain there’s no other possibilities, he nods his head.

However, Baron who is standing at the side interrupts his thoughts. “The body might be fake. You haven’t seen it so you can’t prove that it’s real.”

His sharp remarks silence the others. The mystery in front of them seems vague than ever.

At this moment, Troy opens the upstairs door and walks down silently.

Kevin looks at him and asks, “How did the test go?”

Troy only glance at him, not blurting a word.

“Say it quickly. I can handle it.” Kevin starts to panic.

“Your child is fine, but...”

Kevin gulps, the “but’ word means no good.

“When your wife heard that you’re fine, she ran away.”

Ellison reaches out and grab his arm. “Don’t go first.”

Ellison rubs his forehead. “Don’t act rash. I’ll call Kelly first and check whether your wife contacted her or not.”

Kevin stands at there anxiously. Jonathan takes his chance to approach him and says, “Let me check and I’ll prescribe the medications.”

Annoyed, Kevin stretches his hand for Jonathan to check, but his glare remains on Troy, as if it’s a move to force the truth out of him.

Troy innocently waves his hands. “Are you still blaming me for this?”

At this time, Baron suddenly speaks up, “Since there’s nothing left for us to do here, we’ll leave. You guys go and do what’s need to be done then.”

Kevin looks at him suspiciously. After a while he replies, “True, there’s nothing anymore. Go ahead then.”

Baron raises his eyebrows, silently agreeing with Kevin and turns to leave. He gets into the driver seat.

Troy gets into the passenger seat. He checks his surroundings one more time and glances at the person behind him. He whispers to Baron, “Start the car and leave this place. We have to leave from the devil’s den as soon as possible.”

Sunny nods her head, agreeing with Troy’s words. “Hurry.”

Baron knows that he can’t convince Troy, so he just step on the accelerator and leaves the place.

Suddenly, Sunny remembers an important question. She asks, “Can I ask both of you a question?”

Troy answers, “Just ask anything. We welcome any questions.”

A sly smile creeps on Sunny’s face. “Which one of you is the top?”

Troy immediately regrets himself saying that they welcome any questions.

“A lady like you have to receive prenatal education for the baby in your stomach. Do you understand?”

Sunny shrugs her shoulders. “This baby will be given to Kevin Quinn anyways. It’s fine. Now, answer my question.”
