“Who was he?”

I scoffed. “If you could betray him, you could betray me, too. I despise traitors.”

Leaving them to their own fate, I turned and walked out of the hotel.

My driver opened the car door for me, but my eyes were elsewhere.

Finn hesitated. “Kane... don’t tell me you think-”

“Just get it done. I’ll be back soon.”

Ending the call, I turned to the window, watching the night blur past.
