Chapter 351 Get 5 #Men Kaneâs brows knitted together as he strode toward me, his expression unreadable.
âWhat did you just say?â he asked, stopping right in front of me.
I crossed my arms and met his gaze. âAre you hard of hearing? I said youâre sleeping on the couch.â
He let out a scoff, which only made me glare at him harder. âWerenât you the one who claimed this room had a couch and that you could make do with it?â
Tilting his head slightly, he leaned in closer until we were nearly at eye level. âYeah? But I never said Iâd be the one sleeping on it.â
I tightened my arms around myself. âSo, youâre saying you donât want me to sleep on the couch?â
âDo you not see the massive kingâsized bed? It was arranged for me, but I donât mind sharing. When I said weâd be sharing a room, I assumed you understood that included the bed.â
My mouth fell open in disbelief. This man and his sharp tongue were going to be the death of me.
Frustrated, I clenched my fists and turned toward the door. âFine. If you wonât take the couch, then Iâm leaving.â
Before I could take a step, he grabbed my wrist and spun me back around. I gasped as he shut the door behind me and pressed me against it.
âStop trying to manipulate me, baby. You know I wonât let you go,â he murmured, his warm breath ghosting over my skin.
I froze, my entire body stiffening. His quiet chuckle brushed against my senses as he studied my face.
âThis expression suits you better than that angry glare. But honestly? I like every look on you.â
His hands landed on either side of my head, snapping me back to reality.
âIt hasnât even been an hour, and youâre already showing your true colors?â I shot back, irritation lacing my voice.
He gave a slow nod. âYep.â
âWhat the hell! Get away from me.â
Ducking under his arms, I slipped out of his hold and rushed to the other side of the room. He watched me with amusement, lowering his head slightly as if amused by my reaction.
I narrowed my eyes at him. âYou canât trap me.â
A smirk tugged at his lips. âOh, I absolutely can. But right now, Iâm not in the mood. Itâs dinner time. My kids are hungry, and so is my baby.â
I jabbed a finger in his direction, my glare intensifying. âStop calling me that! I am not your baby, you insane man.â
His grin only widened as if my anger fueled his amusement. âInsane man? Are you giving me cute little pet names now? Thatâs so sweet of you, baby.â

Maras âShut up.â
He let out a dramatic sigh. âHow am I supposed to survive three days of this? Even your scolding sounds sweet, just like...â
He trailed off as he slowly walked toward me, closing the distance between us. Leaning in, he whispered directly into my ear.
âYou.â
My breath hitched, and I shoved him back. âStay away from me.â
He chuckled. âOr what? I havenât even done anything yet.â
â
âI know exactly whatâs on your mind. I swear, Iâm done with this trip. Iâll spend time with them laterâIâm leaving.â
I spun toward the door, determined to walk out, but just as my fingers curled around the handle, his voice stopped me in my tracks.
âRelax. I was only messing with you,â he said, his tone softer this time. âIâll take the couchâjust for yo u.â
