Ahana and Neil reached home soon after their little talk. As They headed inside one by one everyone hugged Ahana and Made sure she was fine. The care and love of everyone made Ahana overwhelmed.
Aryan:( Hugging Ahana along with Ansh and Naira)" We were scared mumma. I thought you will also leave me like Aarti maa"
Ahana:( Ahana's heart hurt hearing this. Her baby was so scared. She hugged Aryan tightly)" No baby. I am not going anywhere. I will always be with you. Sorry mumma scared you all"( She said cupping Ansh's face. She kissed each of their foreheads before hugging them)
Shruti:"Ansh, Aryan, Naira, Now mumma is back. Now you will eat na"
Neil:"They didn't have lunch"
Preeti:"No body could Bhai. we were all worried "
Shruti:"I tried to feed them but they kept saying they want Mumma"
Ahana:"Okay no problem. Mumma is here now right. Let's eat"
Everyone had lunch and the mood of the house lightened up again. Everyone started to smile and enjoy themselves forgetting the morning incident.
The day went through normally and evening time came soon. Ahana and Neil along with the kids got ready to head to Prabha and Sanjeev's house. Though Neil thought to say no because he wanted Ahana to rest at home, Ahana convinced him saying that this will help her and it's been long since she met her parents. Neil couldn't disagree with Ahana so he agreed. After getting ready, Ahana along with Neil and the kids left for Singh household.
At Singh household...
Prabha finished all the preperation for dinner and sat in the hall with Sanjeev waiting for Ahana and Neil to arrive.
Prabha:"Today we have to Tell the whole truth Sanjeev. No matter what. It's been so long since we hid this truth from Ahana but now she needs to know. Even Neil needs to know. We can't hide the truth from them anymore Sanjeev. We can't "
Sanjeev:"Don't worry Prabha. We will tell them everything. I just hope Ahana and Neil understand our reasons "
Prabha:"we can't fear now Sanjeev. If not now and we will never be able to tell them the truth."( Sanjeev nodded. Just then they heard the door bell ring)
They open the door to be greated by Ahana and Neil along with the kids. As soon as the kids see Prabha and Sanjeev they hugged them tightly making Prabha and Sanjeev laugh at the cute kids. After the kids rush inside, Ahana and Neil take blessing from Prabha and Sanjeev before hugging them.
Everyone settled down in the living room and Normal conversation started such as how the vacation went for Ahana and Neil. Everyone was busy enjoying their time but Prabha and Sanjeev were tensed. Ahana and Neil noticed it a little but didn't think much.
Prabha:"I'll start setting the food up."
Ahana:"Ill help Maa"( Prabha nodded and they headed to the kitchen.)
The kids were already in Ansh's previous room which now is converted into The kids room. Ahana and Prabha were busy setting up the table when Ahana remembered her conversation of yesterday.
Ahana:"Maa what you wanted to talk to us about."
Prabha:"Ahana let's have dinner first then we will talk"
Ahana:"Okay"
Ahana called The kids, Neil and Sanjeev for dinner. They a settled down and had dinner nicely before again settling down in the living room.
Ahana:"Ansh, Naira, Aryan common go and play in the room "
Kids:"Okay mumma"(The kids left as Ahana turned to Prabha and sanjeev)
Ahana:"Now Maa common tell us what Happened. Why do you look so worried "
Sanjeev:" It's nothing like that Ahana. it's.. We have something to tell you... Ahana few years back when..."( Sanjeev's voice was cut of by Neil phone.)
Neil:( Seeing the ID)" Excuse Maa Papa but this is an important call"( He excused himself and stepped out of the Living room into the balcony area away from The rest of the group.)
Ahana looked at Neil going then turned her direction towards Prabha and Sanjeev who smiled Nervously at her. They all waited for some time before Ahana excused herself to see why Neil is taking so long.
In the balcony...
Ahana came outside and looked at Neil staring at his phone with a very serious expression on his face. Ahana frowned and went towards him. She tapped his shoulder getting his attention.
Ahana:"What happened Neil? Who called?"
Neil:"Ahana.. it was the doctors call"
Ahana:"Oh...( Seeing his serious expression)"is it bad?"
Neil:"It's serious Ahana. I was just looking at your reports. We have to visit the doctor tomorrow again."
Ahana:( Getting worried)"What is it Neil? What does the report state"
Neil"( Holding her by the shoulder)" Ahana...it...I...it's bad Ahana. You...You won't be able to be yourself soon. You'll change"
Ahana:(Almost looking like she will cry)"Change...Neil be clear please "
Neil:"Ahana the reports state that you can't work Anymore. You will need to rest more and go to doctors regularly because..."
Ahana:(impatiently and worried)"Becauseeeee?"
Neil:(Turning around so that his back faced her front)" you are pregnant "
Ahana:"I am pre...( Realizing what Neil said)"I am...I...( Tears rolled down her eyes and Neil turned to her with a big grin on his face)"Preg...pregnant?"
Neil:( kissing Ahana's forehead)"Yes sweetheart. We are gonna have a baby soon"
Ahana:(Ahana smiled as tears rolled down her eyes but soon she remembered Neil's prank)"You idoit"( She said hitting him on his chest)"You made me so worried.. I though I had some serious illness. Neil I hate you"
Neil held her hands which she used to hit his chest. He pulled her closer, Taking her lips into a kiss. A short yet sweet one. Ahana calmed down when he broke apart and cupped her face.
Neil:"Thank you shona for giving me this happiness. I can't believe we are gonna be parents again. Ansh Aryan and Naira will soon have a little baby Brother aur sister to play with"
Ahana:( Hugging him)" I can't believe it's true Neil "( She moved a little back but still in Neil arms. She used one of her hand to cover her stomach trying to feel the life inside her.)" The symbol of our love is inside me. Our baby is inside me. Neil I love you. I love you soooooo much"
Neil:"I love you tooo Shona.(Keeping his hand on Ahana's which layed on her stomach)" And I love you as well little munchkin "
They stayed in such positions for a while before they broke apart smiling at each other. There were still tear stain on Ahana's face which Neil wiped.
Ahana:( Holding Neil hand)" Neil what did the doctor say clearly. I mean this pregnancy it's normal right"
Neil:"Don't worry shona everything is normal. The doctor called us tomorrow for more tests but as if now it is confirmed that you are 1 week pregnant. You felt uneasy and dizziness because of this only. The doctor will prescribe medication tomorrow and all the other details will be given tomorrow as well. As for now all we have to do is keep you happy and Away from tension. "
Ahana:"Hmm. I still can't believe this Neil"( She said looking down at her stomach)
Neil:"Even I can't but it's really baby. We are pregnant "
Prabha:( From the living room)" Ahana? Neil?"( She yelled)
Ahana:"Oh we should head inside. Maa wanted to talk to us about something "
Neil:"Yeah"
Ahana and Neil headed inside only to be greeted by a worried Prabha and Sanjeev. They settled down on the couch as Sanjeev started to speak.
Sanjeev:"What Happened Neil? Everything Alright?"
Neil:"Yes papa. Infact it couldn't be better. It was the doctor's call.(Neil smiled at Ahana and held her hand in his) " Ahana is pregnant "
Prabha and Sanjeev's eyes widen as a smile came upon their face. They looked at Ahana who nodded her head. Prabha stood up and hugged Ahana tightly while Sanjeev followed.
Prabha:"Omg Beta. Congratulations!"
Neil and Ahana explained how she has been feeling unwell and how they went to check up with the doctors due to her fainting. Prabha and Sanjeev scolded her for ignoring her health while Ahana pouted as Neil agreed with them. They instructed multiple things to Ahana and Neil to which they listen with full concentration.
Ahana:"Don't worry Maa. I'll take care of my self. And you already know Neil . He won't take any risk with my health "
Prabha:( Cupping Ahana's cheeks lovely)"Yeah I know"
Ahana:"By the way, Maa papa what did you both want to talk to us about"
Neil:"Yeah Papa what is it. The call disturbed what you were saying "
Sanjeev:"Ahh...I...we..."
Prabha:( Cutting Sanjeev off)" Nothing Ahana. We were just saying that...that..we should ...should plan a family picnic. Yes a family picnic "( She said coming up with an excuse while Ahana and Neil looked on confused)
Sanjeev:"Yes picnic. picnic. It's been long since we all went out"
Neil:"You sure papa this was what you were gonna say"
Sanjeev:"Yes...yes"( He smiled nervously)
Neil:"O..okay"
Aryan:"Mummaaaa"( The kids came out of their room)" Mumma Ansh and Naira are fight over this robot"(He said showing the robot to Ahana who sighed and looked at Ansh and Naira who looked down)
Neil:( Pulling Ansh and Naira to him)" Ansh Naira you both are my good babies na. Then why are you fighting over a robot. There are so many robot toys. You can take turn and play na. If you fight for such small things then it will be bad na"
Ansh and Naira nodded at their father as he explained to them why it is bad to fight. While Aryan stood between Ahana's legs hugging her and they both watched Neil explain. Prabha and Sanjeev looked at this family in Awe. They were truly perfect and soon one more member was to be added to this family. Everything was perfect but the truth of Ahana's past still lingered upon them.
Again due to Ahana's pregnancy, Prabha and Sanjeev couldn't disclose the truth. Maybe fate didn't want them to disclose it. Or maybe it had a different plan for Ahana and Neil. Either way one shocking truth was revealed for sure today. The pregnancy. A shocking truth doesn't need to be bad. It could be good also. And this was a tremendous news for our couple.
As if now was a beginning of a new chapter in Ahana and Neil life. They were gonna add another member into their family. A new bundle of joy was gonna enter their life in about 9 months. But these 9 months won't be as easy as it looks. Ahana and Neil would have to face many changed in their routine. The good part is both of them have experience in this department. But again no matter how many times you became parents, each baby is different, each pregnancy is different and overtime we realize that each one of them showed us a new side of life.
Ahana and Neil knew this. They was a new happiness gonna enter their household. Now All they wished for was to keep evil and bad Away from these happiness.
After spending 30 to 40 more minutes with Prabha and Sanjeev, Ahana and Neil decided to head home with the kids. On the way home the kids slept in the car but Ahana and Neil were in a different world. They just got one of the biggest news in their life and they didn't want to think about anything other then this happiness.
