Chapter 49| Family Time

Exactly 20 mins after Neil's call, Neil had reached Prabha's House. He rang the door bell and Ahana opened it with a smile.

Neil:(Side hugged Ahana as he enters the house)"Hey shona"(He move forward and saw Prabha. As he touched her feet for blessings before hugging her)"Hey Maa how are you?"

Prabha:"I am fine beta. Come sit na"

Neil settled down on the sofa as Prabha brought snacks and Dahi Bhalla for him.

Ahana:"Maa you didn't make any of my favorite sweets but you made Neils "(She said with a fake angry face)

Prabha:"We had you favorite lunch only today Ahana"(She said looking at ahana with a smile at her cuteness )

Neil:"She didn't make because she loves her son more then her daughter."(He said side hugging Prabha)"Right maa?"

Ahana:"Maa see him naaa"

Prabha:(Laughs)"You both have 3 kids but still act like 3 year olds at this age"

Neil:(eating a spoon full of Dahi Bhalla)" Don't worry maa. Even when we have 4 or 5 kids then also we will stay the same"(Ahana eyes widen at his words and she takes a pillow and hit him on the shoulder)

Ahana:"Neilll"(she said trying to scold him but fails due to his word)

Neil:"What? What I said is true only na. "(Prabha looks at the couple in front of her and smiles.  Ahana and Neil's happiness were shown in their eyes. Their love was shown through their actions. She was happy that her kids were finally happy. They both had gone through so much to reach this point)

Neil:(looking at his watch)"Maa we should leave. It's almost time to pick the kids up. And if we make them wait for even 1 min, Then their tantrums will be on another level."

Ahana:"Yeah maa Neil right. I clearly remember last time they had to wait for 2 min because I was late due to traffic and due to that small mistake I had to get each of them 2 icecreams"

Ahana and Neil bid bye to Prabha before they headed to the kids school. While Neil was driving his one hand was intertwined with Ahana's hand that rested on his lap. Soft romantic music played in the background as the 10 min drive to the school came to an end. Neil and Ahana got out of the car and heard the school bell ringing, indicating that school has come to an end.

Neil and Ahana saw Aryan coming out of the school holding Naira's hand who looked upset while Aryan had a angry look on his face. Ansh followed them behind with a cute angry look as well. Behind Ansh was Naira's class teacher. Neil and Ahana's frowned seeing their kids faces as they headed towards them.

Ahana:(as she walked next to Neil towards the kids)"I think something happened"

Neil:"it's for sure related to Naira. Aryan's protectiveness can be clearly seen by the way he is holding her hand."

Ahana:"Hello Maam"(Ahana said as she greeted the teacher while her hands went on Aryan and Naira's shoulder as a comfort move)

Teacher:"Hello Mr. and Mrs. Malhotra. I would actually like to have a word with you."

Neil:"Did something happened?"

Teacher:"Actually yes. Today Aryan and Ansh pushed a boy "

Ahana:"Why?"(She asked knowing that Aryan and Ansh would never do something like this without a reason )"

Teacher:"Well (A smile almost broke on the teachers face but she stopped it)"the reason is cute but still pushing another kid is not right. Because of this I didn't invovle the principle but I thought I should let you know"

Ahana and Neil frowned. What could be that reason that is so cute and funny that Aryan and Ansh had pushed a boy down for.

Neil:"What is the reason?"

Teacher:"So apparently a guy from Naira's class told her that she is cute."

Neil:(Neil's frowned grew while Ahana begain  to smile realizing the situation)"He said what?"

Teacher:"he said she is cute"(She repeated, thinking Neil might have not heard her the first time)"Aryan and Ansh got angry or protective and pushed him. It's not a big deal but I would appreciate if you guys talk to Aryan and Ansh about their actions today and Explain that pushing and shoving is not need in our school "

Neil:"But he"(Neil was cut of by Ahana who held his hands)

Ahana:"Thank you ma'am. We will take care of it"( The teacher nodded and headed inside while Ahana and Neil lead the kids near the car)

Naira:"Mumma scold Bhaiya and Ansh bhai. They pushed my friend today"(Naira said with a pout)

Neil:"He deserves it"(Neil said to himself but Ahana heard it)"Princess stay away from these type of friends okay. Don't even consider him a friend "(Ahana stared at Neil with disbelief)

Naira:"But why papa he is my friend "(She said innocently)

Ansh:"No he is bad."

Aryan:"Yeah Naira"

Ansh:"See even papa agrees"

Ahana:(She looked at the 3 boys in disbelief. She picked Naira in her arms) "Leave them sweetheart. If you want to be friends with him it's fine."

Naira:"Maa see he is there"(Ahana pointed at a car where a boy was sticking his head out looking at them. Seeing Naira he smiled and waved. Ahana found it adorable but when she looked back she saw her 3 boys glaring at that poor boy)

Ahana:(Hitting Neil slightly on the arm)"Stop scaring the poor boy Neil and Help Ansh sit in the backseat"(They both buckled the kids up and started their journey home)

By the time they reached home, the kids had forgotten about the incident and were busy playing among themselves, But the look on Neil's face clearly told Ahana that he is still wondering on it. She wanted to laugh at this cuteness. Ahana asked Shruti to get the kids changed into Normal clothes as she headed inside her room to talk to Neil.

Ahana:"Neil"(She called out his name as she sat next to him on the sofa)"Why were you glaring at that innocent boy"

Neil:"innocent ? From which angle did he seem innocent. I can clearly see what type of a boy he is"

Ahana:(Laughed)"Neil he is a 4 year old boy. What type of boy would he be other then innocent. "(Neil frowned at Ahana)"Plus if this is how you 3 will react whenever Naira has a interaction with any boy then I feel scared of her future. How will she get married if you 3 will literally glare at her husband like that"

Neil:"Marriage? She is a kid. there is a looooonnnng time still her marriage. And even at time of her marriage I will find the right guy for her."

Ahana:"And what if she falls in love with someone "

Neil:"Then I will make sure he is a good guy before letting him anywhere near her"

Ahana:(Shaking her head)"With this rate, you might just get her husband to live with us after marriage "

Neil:"That's not a bad idea"(Ahana looked at Neil to see if he was joking but seeing his serious expression she just started at him with disbelief)"What I am serious "

Ahana:"Okay let's talk about this when the time comes. we still have 20 or more years to that"(To herself but Neil could hear)"God I might go crazy trying to handle these 3 boys."

Neil:(With a smirk as he side hugs her)"Don't worry I won't leave you even after you go crazy"(Ahana glared at him and started to get up but Neil pulled her back causing her to fall on Neil whose back down layed on the bed.)

Ahana:"Neilll"(she sequels when she felt Neil turn her around in a jiff making her lay beneath him)

Neil breath fanned her face as his arms rested on her soft skin, near her waist where the saree didn't cover her. His fingers drew circle on her waist while her hands clutched onto his shoulders tightly. He lowered his lips to meet her's as he took her into a Devine and passionate kiss. As Neil explored her mouth, Ahana's hands found their way to his hair clutching onto them as she pulled him closer. Neil soon broke the kiss due to lack of oxygen. He buried his face in her neck as he trailed soft kisses down her neck. Ahana moaned his Name as he continued his torture. Neil move back a little again claiming Her lips.

Ahana pushed Neil back breaking the kiss due to a sudden stomach cramp. They both were breathing heavily as they tried to calm themselves. Neil sat up, running his hand through his hair while Ahana sat next to him, Her hands near her stomach trying to calm the cramp.

Neil:(Not looking at Her)"I..I am sorry. I couldn't control myself.. I ...might have made you uncomfortable. I .."

Ahana:(Cupping Neil's face and Bringing him to look at her)"I am never uncomfortable with you Neil. Infact you are the only one I  am truly comfortable with. And you don't need to say sorry for loving me. I ...it's just my stomach cramps came back all of a sudden so I had to push you"

Neil:"is it hurting bad. Should I get medicine"

Ahana:"No..it's the last day so before going it will hurt a bit. "

Neil:"Then wait I'll get you ginger tea to soothe the pain."(Neil started to head out but Ahana held his hands turning him to her)

Ahana:(Seeing him give her a confused look)"You will go out like this"(He looked down to see his shirt untugged. His hair was all messy and His lips had lipstick smudges. Neil looked at Ahana and her condition was the same. Her saree wasn't set properly. Her lipstick was smudged and her hair was messed up.)

Ahana ran her hands through his hair, setting it correctly before she used her pallu to wipe the lipstick stain on his lips while Neil tugged his shirt in.

Ahana:"That's better."(Neil smiled as he kissed her forehead before heading down)

After few mins when he came back to his room, he saw Ahana had fixed herself as well. She was laying on the bed in a sitting position with headphones in her ears as she watch something.  Neil Gave her the cup of tea and sat next to her working on his laptop.

The next few days also passed in a jiff. It was Saturday evening. Neil was at office but the kids had a day of. Ahana was in the kids room packing their clothes and other necessaries while the kids helped her. But the help was more of a chaos.

Ahana:"Ansh get your red sweater from the cupboard"

Naira:"Mumma my pony has no place to sit"(She said sadly looking at the almost full 2 medium suitcase)

Ahana:"Naira you can carry your pony in the van okay sweetheart."

Aryan:"Mumma what about my.."(He spoke but of cut of as Naira spoke)

Naira:"mumma my.."(Speaking at the same time as her brothers )

Ansh:"finished it maa.. but I am hungry..I want.  " (All 3 of the started to speak at the same time )

Neil, who had just arrived from office, heard loud noises from the kids room and went to check upon it to be amused by the scene in front of his eyes. 2 medium suitcases layed on the bed almost full with clothes and other stuff. Ahana, who stood their with her hair in a bun as she packed things up and his 3 munchkins who were standing behind her all talking random stuff creating a big chaos. Neil  wanted to laugh at the scene in front of him but he controlled himself as she moved inside the room making sure to not make his presence known. He kept his blazer on the chair, then slowly went toTo Ansh and Aryan who stood in front of them still blabbering.

As They saw Neil, They were about to scream in excitement when Neil closed their mouth pointing at Ahana whose back faced the kids and Neil. By now Naira also saw Neil but kept quiet keeping her finger on her mouth as she followed her father's actions.

Ahana:(Not hearing Any more noise as the kids stopped talking)"what happened? Why are you all silent all of a sudden "(She was about to turn when Neil went forwards and picked her up)

Ahana squealed as Neil picked her up her and spun in circles. The kids laughed and Neil's chuckles also rang in her ears.

Ahana:"Neillll put me down"(Neil set Ahana down on the floor as she wobbled a little due to dizziness holding onto Neil. After few seconds she stood up properly glaring At neil)

Neil:(Whispers)"Common jaan don't stare at me like that. I know I am handsome but we are around kids"(He said with a smirk)

Ahana:"I am not staring I am glaring at you, You stupid Malhotra "(She said glaring harder)

Neil:"If I am stupid then so are you, Mrs. Malhotra "

Ahana:"Argg Neill "

Naira:(In a soft voice)" You shouldn't call someone stupid, It is bad manners"(Ahana and Neil looked at Naira and smiled)

Ahana:"My princess is absolutely correct "(She kissed Naira's cheeks)
