The office was quiet for a few seconds. Luna smiled. She could not help but laugh.
âMr. Lynch, you think that your wife wouldnât be so stupid as to use her name, but I would. Is that it?â
Joshuaâs expressions darkened a little.
He almost forgot. The woman nicknamed Alice in the chat that morning also claimed to be Luna
herself.
Luna sneered, plopping onto the sofa in front of Joshua. âAlice wouldnât use her name to stir up trouble,
but youâre so sure that Iâm Hailey, that I âd use Mr. Walter from Sea City to help me out in Banyan City.â
Joshua looked at her, saying nothing.
Luna continued calmly, âMr. Lynch, have you forgotten? After the funeral of the impostor Hailey passed
away in Sea City, you told me that youâve already suspected that the woman is just an impostor.
âTell me then, Mr. Lynch. Why would I risk getting Mr. Walterâs men to come to Banyan City when I
clearly knew that you already suspected that the real Hailey isnât dead yet?
âBanyan City is under you and your friend, Judeâs territory. If Iâm Hailey, why would I get them to take
such a risk to come here and so blatantly beat Irene up right after I had a conflict with her?
âIs it that Iâm not afraid my identity would be exposed?â
Joshuaâs eyes narrowed a little upon Lunaâs words.
Actually, regarding Lunaâs identity, it had always been Judeâs speculations only. He never agreed with
him.

Luna was a person that he trusted. He was not willing to be around her in suspicion, and that was why
he took the risk to ask her directly, even when he did not have enough proof of her identity.

A huge burden being put down, Joshua smiled teasingly and looked at Luna. âPerhaps you mightâve
guessed that Iâd think that youâre not that stupid, so you did it on purpose?â
Luna felt a fire of rage overwhelming her. Did this man take her for a fool?
Luna bit her lips and stood up immediately. âSince you got me to stay but itâs not because of Neil and
Nellie, I donât need to continue wasting my time with you, Mr. Lynch. If you have proof that Iâm Hailey,
then show them. As long as there is enough proof, no matter how I deny it, itâd be pointless. If thereâs
none, however, donât you dare for one second try to pin Haileyâs identity on me! â
Then, Luna turned around and stormed off angrily. Joshua sat in the office, looking at Luna leaving. He
smiled.
He lowered his eyes and swept a glance at the design sketches on her desk. He could not help but pick
one up and admire them.
The last sketch was not in her previously announced drafts. It seemed to have been drawn last minute.
It was a menâs ring with a skull.
He furrowed his brows. He felt that the manâs hand on the sketch was a little familiar. He looked aside
and noticed his right hand that held the sketches.
It was the exact same.
Joshua furrowed his brows, thinking he was hallucinating, but as he had a closer look, it was indeed his
hand.
Even the position and the shape of the little scars on his hand were exactly the same. Since when did
she observe his hands so closely?
Joshua furrowed his brows and immediately took his phone out. He captured a photo of the sketch and
