CHAPTER 1328
Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isnât Easy chapter 1328
Michael immediately took out a pen and handed it to Joshua in excitement. âCome on, sign it, quick! â
He did not believe that they would find the real culprit just because they cut Granny Lynch up.
As soon as Joshua signed this contract, all the assets of Lynch Group would belong to both him and
Adrian!
Michael was even estimating the number of bottles of champagne he would open in celebration of this
event.
Joshua narrowed his eyes and walked over to the table in determination, then picked up his penâ
âWait! â a female voice rang out of the blue. This voice sounded familiarâ¦
Joshua immediately turned around and glanced in the direction of the police station entrance, where
the voice had come from.
Luna, dressed in a jumpsuit with Bonnieâs red trench coat draped over her, stood at the entrance,
propped up with Bonnieâs help.
Joshuaâs pupils enlarged as soon as he caught sight of the woman who had grown haggard overnight.
He immediately strode over. âLunaâ¦â
Michael, who was standing a short distance away, immediately furrowed his brows. âYou⦠How did
you get out?â
Bonnie rolled her eyes at him. âHavenât you heard of being released on bail and awaiting trial before?â
Joshua grabbed hold of Luna and asked in a low voice, âHow did you get out?â
âIâm not feeling well, so Bonnie bailed me out.â Joshua frowned upon hearing this. âWhatâs wrong?â
Luna blushed. âIâll tell you about it in the future.â
With that, she let out an exhale and lifted her head to glance at Adrian and Michael in the distance, as
well as the contract placed on the table in front of them. â Joshua, are you sure you want to sign this?â RêAd latðSt chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
She clutched Joshuaâs hand with her pale, cold, weak one and said, âDonât sign it because of me. Itâs
not worth it.â
Besides, Luna, along with the rest of the spectators, did not think that an old lady more than 70 years
old would leave any evidence inside her body the moment a knife pierced her chest.
If they did not manage to find any new evidence through the autopsyâ¦
Then, Lynch Group would fall into the hands of Adrian and Michael, and Grannyâs death would never
be avenged.
âThis is the only way.â Joshua smiled at Luna as he held her hand in his. âWhy are you so against me
signing this contract? Are you afraid that Iâd go broke if I lost Lynch Group?â
With that, he raised his hand to tuck her hair behind her ear. âWill you and the children still be willing to
stay by my side even if Iâm broke?â
Luna knew he was saying this on purpose. She let out an exasperated sigh. âIf you go broke, then
Nellie and I will have to earn money to support you.â
With that, she glanced again at the crowd surrounding them. âIf you really have toâ¦then sign it.â
She was not afraid that Joshua would go broke, but instead, she did not think he needed to sacrifice so
much for her.
However, if this were his choice, she would not object.
After all, it was all for her good.
As soon as he got Lunaâs support, Joshua walked
over to the table, picked up the pen, and scrawled his name on the contract. Then, he took Lunaâs hand
in his and strode into the police station.
Adrian and Michaelâs cheers echoed from outside the door.
However, Joshua ignored this and instead handed the autopsy authorization letter, which Adrian had
willingly signed, to the coroner.
Granny Lynch was wheeled into the autopsy room.
Joshua clutched Lunaâs hand and pulled her into his embrace. None of them said a word and instead
leaned against each other in silence as they stared at the autopsy room door.
After more than an hour, the door was pushed open.
