CHAPTER 1326
Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isnât Easy chapter 1326
After an entire night of contemplation, Joshua finally decided to abide by the detectivesâ suggestions
and agree to an autopsy.
He believed that if Granny was watching from heaven, she, too, would wish to see Luna being proven
innocent.
After coming out of the house, Joshua followed Lucas and got into the car.
More than ten cars belonging to the media trailed behind Joshuaâs Masevati all the way from Blue Bay
Villa to the police station.
Joshuaâs decision to authorize an autopsy on his grandmotherâs corpse spread through the city like
wildfire and became the headline of almost every news outlet in Banyan City.
When the car arrived at the police station, Joshua was stopped by Adrian and Michael, who had been
waiting at the entrance, as soon as he got out of the car.
Adrian, along with a swollen, injured Michael, blocked Joshuaâs path.
âAs the victimâs family and only son, I object to an autopsy! â Adrian declared, dressed in a neat suit. â
Joshua Lynch, donât you dare humiliate my motherâs corpse even after her death! â
Joshua narrowed his eyes and stared at Adrian coldly. âThe aim of the autopsy is to obtain evidence
and find the real murderer. What are you trying to achieve by objecting against this autopsy, Master
Lynch?â
Adrian scoffed. âFind the real murderer?â
He raised his voice and deliberately angled his face to face the cameras behind Joshua, saying, âItâs
already clear who the real murderer is! Itâs Luna, the woman you kissed yesterday ! All the evidence is
clear as day! â
He glared at Joshua coldly, his face entirely devoid of the nervousness he had experienced when
Joshua interrogated him the day before. âWhat are you trying to do, Joshua? Luna killed your
grandmother , but you kissed her on the forehead. The evidence points to Luna being the murderer ,
yet you still want to perfor m an autopsy on Granny and find evidence to topple this case!
âGranny raised you from a young age! You know better than anyone how well she treated you! â
With that, Adrian pointed at Joshua in anger and continued, âDo you know how much Granny has
sacrificed for you? I know whatâs going on! Youâre jealous ! Youâre jealous of Michael because Granny
liked him more than you ever since I brought him back to visit her. Youâre afraid that weâd steal the
Lynch family inheritance from you, so you ordered your woman Luna to kill Granny! â
As he said this, tears started to stream down Adrianâs face. âYour Grannyâs dead now, yet you still want
to help that woman escape. What right do you have to be a part of the Lynch family? What right do you Content is © 2024 .
have to be CEO of Lynch Group? Youâre a disgrace to the family name! â
Adrian was so passionate and agitated when he said this that he appeared as though he was genuinely
furious over his motherâs death.
Joshua narrowed his eyes and stared at Adrian coldly. âThereâs someone smarter than you whoâs
teaching you how to do this.â
Otherwise, according to Adrianâs level of intelligence, he would not have thought of causing a scene in
front of the police station like this.
Adrian felt a little guilty when he heard this. He sneered at Joshua. âWhatâs wrong? Are you trying to
change the topic because I exposed the truth?â
Joshua curled his lips into a small smile. Then, he lifted his head to gaze at the crowd before him. âMy
request for an autopsy is a fulfillment of my responsibility for Grannyâs death.â
With that, he raised his eyebrows and glanced at Adrian. âWhy are you so afraid of this autopsy, Master
Lynch? Are you afraid that everyone will find out Luna isnât the real killer after the autopsy?â
The color drained from Adrianâs face. He bit down on his lip and glowered at Joshua. âEven after the
autopsy, Luna will still be the murdered. This wonât change a thing! â
With that, he scoffed and continued, âJoshua, if you want to proceed with the autopsy that badly, then I
wonât stop you. Otherwise, youâll think I âm doing this out of guilt, but as Motherâs only son, I must
protect her dignity!
âTherefore, before that, you must sign this contract stating that if no new evidence was found after the
autopsy, then youâll have to give up all of Lynch Groupâs shares! â
