CHAPTER 1277
Pursuing My Ex-Wife Isnât Easy chapter 1277
âJoshua! â
Seeing Joshua about to rush into the emergency room, Aura reached out to pull Joshua and shouted, â
Youâre not supposed to go into the emergency room! Youâre not a doctor. If you go in, youâll be a
disturbance to the operation! â
Joshuaâs eyes were red, and he insisted on going into the room. âI canât stop worrying! â
Luna had initially planned to ask Dr. Janet about the symptoms and eat some medication that would
trigger the same reaction in her body to fake the illness, so why did she end up in the emergency room
all of a sudden?
Why did Dr. Janet went missing?
âSir.â Lucas stepped forward and held onto Joshuaâs arm with Aura. âPlease calm down, and donât try to
go in. Luna is being savedâ¦and the situation inside is bad. If you go in, itâll interrupt this critical timing
for the doctors⦠Luna will be even more at risk! â
Lucasâ persuasion worked. Joshua regained control of his emotions and stopped acting up. He sat
down in a chair and wrapped his hands together, staring at the emergency room door with a
penetrating gaze.
Luna had to be okay!
If he had known this would happen, he would never agree to this plan in the first place, even if Luna
pleaded or threw a tantrum.
Aura sat down next to Joshua. Seeing the way his hands were clenched together as well as the
anxious expression on his face, she felt as though an
invisible hand was squeezing her heart.
He still very much cared for Luna. He still had not moved on!
Aura clenched her fists. Since he cared about her so much, then no matter what, she could not let Luna
live!
Killing Luna was not just for her and her sisterâs status. More importantly, it was for her own good!
Aura was not planning just to take Lunaâs life. Instead, she wanted her to suffer in hatred and bring it
with her to her grave.
Lunaâs operation lasted a whole day. Finally, at noon, the door to the emergency room was pushed
open.
More than ten doctors, all drenched in sweat, wheeled a barely breathing woman out from the room.
The moment the door cracked open, Joshua had already stepped forward. âDoctor, is everything
okay?â
âSheâs stable for the time being.â
The head doctor was wiping his sweat in relief as he sighed. âThis kind of symptom is even more
serious compared to what Granny Lynch suffered years ago. It took us so much manpower and time to
get her body back to its normal level. Even though we still do not know how the outcome will be, weâll
try our best to treat her.â
The doctor glanced at Joshua and continued, âWeâll prepare a special ICU bed just for Ms. Luna. Itâs
still being prepared. In the meantime, weâll place her in a normal ward. If thereâs anything you want to
tell her, you can do it privately later.â
With that, the doctor glanced at a very weak and pale Luna and said, âBut please donât take too long ;
her condition canât be exerted. With her situation right nowâ¦she could die anytime.â
These few statements from the doctor made Joshuaâs entire body stiffen. He turned around and looked
at Luna, who was lying on the bed, barely showing any signs of life.
Sheâ¦did not drink the poison that Aura made, right? How did she end up like thisâ¦?
The doctors quickly pushed Luna into the ward.
Joshua followed their instruction and put on a protective suit before entering the ward. He was the first
to go into the room.
The room was so quiet that he could only hear the sounds of the medical equipment operating. C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
Joshua walked up to Lunaâs side and held her hand tightly. Then, he lowered his voice and said, âWhat
happened?â
Luna was fine when he brought her in to visit Granny Lynch. He only went to have breakfast with Aura.
Just a few hours laterâ¦she was barely holding on.
What happened?
