RANFREN ONESHOTS.658 words~4 min read

It all began in a dream, a shared dreamscape where the impossible became reality.  Y/n stumbled into a hidden place, a secret world tucked away from the mundane reality of waking life.  And there, amidst the ethereal beauty of this dreamscape, she met him – Satoru Tsakada.  Or, rather, a version of him, a figment of Randal's imagination, yet somehow imbued with a life and personality all its own.  It was a bizarre, surreal encounter, yet Y/n found herself inexplicably drawn to him.  A crush, unexpected and intense, blossomed in the fertile ground of this shared dream.

They spent countless hours together, exploring the boundless landscape of their shared dream world.  Yet, even within this fantastical realm, a longing for reality persisted – a desire to experience this connection, this burgeoning affection, in the tangible world beyond dreams.

"Y/n?" Satoru's voice, smooth and gentle, broke through her reverie.  He possessed a certain charm, a refined gentleness that seemed almost too perfect, too good to be true.  "As much as I enjoy our time together, I really must leave soon."  He hummed, a soft, melancholic sound that tugged at her heart.

"What do you mean, you'll wake up?" Y/n asked, her voice laced with a sadness that mirrored the tightening in her chest.  The thought of losing this connection, this dream-born romance, filled her with a profound sense of loss.

Satoru fell silent for a moment, his gaze drifting to the blossoming cherry trees surrounding them.  "Not exactly," he finally said, his voice soft, almost hesitant.  "I may return, but not as often… not in the same way we've been meeting."  He paused, choosing his words carefully.  "I'm… just an imaginary friend that Randall created.  You know that, right?"

Y/n nodded, the knowledge a bittersweet truth that clung to her like a shadow.  She understood the nature of his existence, the ephemeral nature of their connection.  Yet, despite this understanding, her feelings remained unchanged.

Satoru leaned closer, his smile charming and disarming, his eyes twinkling as they met hers.  They sat beneath the delicate blossoms, a picture of ethereal beauty, their connection palpable despite its tenuous nature.  "But…" he continued, his voice a low murmur, "I hope we can meet again… in another life."  He grinned, a playful, hopeful expression that warmed her heart.  Then, with a gentle touch, he kissed her cheek, a fleeting moment of intimacy that sent a blush rising to her face.

Y/n nodded shyly, her heart pounding against her ribs.  "I like you a lot…" she whispered, the words barely audible, yet carrying the weight of her unspoken feelings.  Satoru heard her confession, a smile playing on his lips as he absorbed the unspoken longing in her gaze.  "You like me?" he asked, his voice a soft question, a confirmation of the feelings that had blossomed amidst the cherry blossoms of their dream.

"Well… I…"  Satoru trailed off, his gaze drifting to the distant horizon of their dream world, a wistful expression softening his usually playful features.  The blossoms swirled around them, a delicate dance of pink and white against the backdrop of a sky painted with the hues of a setting sun.  The air hung heavy with unspoken words, with the weight of a connection that defied the boundaries of reality and imagination.  His silence stretched, a pregnant pause filled with the unspoken emotions that hung between them – a mixture of hope, longing, and the bittersweet knowledge of their fleeting existence within this dreamscape.  The cliffhanger hung suspended, unresolved, leaving the reader to ponder the myriad possibilities held within that unfinished sentence, the unspoken words left hanging in the air like the delicate petals of the cherry blossoms.  Would he confess his own feelings? Would he reveal a hidden truth about their connection? Or would the dream simply fade, leaving Y/n with only the memory of a love that bloomed and withered within the confines of a shared imagination?

Haha cliffhanger yall
