RANFREN ONESHOTS.293 words~2 min read

Nana longed to spend quality time with Y/N, but every attempt had been met with a flurry of apologies and the same refrain: "I'm so busy, I don't have time right now."  She'd noticed Y/N's exhaustion, the way her shoulders slumped under the weight of her responsibilities.  Nana didn't want to be a burden, but seeing her beloved girlfriend so overworked, she knew she couldn't stand idly by.  Y/N needed a break, and Nana was determined to provide it.

Moving with the silent grace of a shadow, Nana glided upstairs. Her black scales shimmered faintly against the soft carpet as she slithered towards Y/N's room.  Knowing Y/N often left her door ajar for easy access, Nana slipped inside.  She coiled her body around Y/N's legs, her soft hiss a gentle tickle against Y/N's skin.

"Oh, Nana, I'm a bit busy…" Y/N began, but Nana wouldn't be deterred.  With a fluid movement, she wrapped her entire body around Y/N, her warm scales a comforting embrace.  The gentle pressure, the comforting weight of her body, was a silent message of love and support.

Y/N's initial resistance melted away as she felt Nana's warmth and the unspoken concern in her embrace.  The realization of her neglect washed over her, a wave of guilt replacing her earlier fatigue.  "I'm sorry for making you feel left out because of my work," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion.  "I'll try to take a break."  She leaned down, softly kissing Nana's forehead.  A low purr vibrated through Nana's body as she nuzzled her face against Y/N's cheek, the simple act a silent expression of contentment and unwavering affection.  The shared moment, a quiet respite from the pressures of Y/N's demanding schedule, was more precious than any words could express.
