GIANNA
âIâm here, Kol.â
Tears streamed down my face as he hugged me. âYouâre back! Youâre here! I canâtâIâI canât believe it. Youâre here!â
I just nodded, crying silently, and pulled him close. âIâm back. Iâm here.â
A blonde blur landed on me with a thud. âG! Gia! I canât believe it! I knew youâd make it,â Liv wailed, cutting off my oxygen.
Kol kept his hands on my waist, letting her hug me. âLiv, I canât breathe,â I gasped out. She let me go, laughing slightly, her face red from crying.
Diego came up behind her and pulled me into a hug. âKnew you had it in you, sis. Welcome back. We missed you.â
I heard him choke back tears and instantly felt my eyes well up. Heâd never shown emotion like that before.
I walked over to my parents, looking at their shocked expressions. âGianna,â Mom whispered, reaching out to touch my face. She gasped when her fingers touched my cheek.
âIâm here, Mom. Iâm back. Iâm real,â I giggled, tears still flowing down my cheeks. I turned to Dad and pulled them both into a hug.
I felt Dad break down when he hugged me, his shoulders shrugging with his tears. Mom rubbed my back. We stood like this for a few minutes before breaking apart.
âWell, now that Iâm back, why donât we celebrate?
âI dunno about you guys, but I could use a drink or several,â I laughed, settling into Kolâs arms that heâd wrapped around me again, his lips planting kisses on my neck.
âAs long as itâs not bourbon, because I think Kol and your dad cleared us out.â Liv smirked, and we laughed.
âCome on, letâs gather all the wolves. We have much to celebrate tonight!â Mom exclaimed, running off excitedly.
âWoman loves a party. Any excuse.â Diego rolled his eyes, and I giggled.
âI missed it. Iâm just happy to be back. To be honest, I wasnât sure if I would make it.â I felt Kolâs arms tighten on me, and I snuggled into him. âIâm glad Iâm back,â I whispered in his ear.
âActually, we will meet you guys out there. I need to talk to Diego quickly about something,â Liv said, blushing.
I gave her a knowing wink and led Kol out to follow Mom and Dad. âWhatâs that about?â Kol asked, clutching my hand in his.
âIâm sure weâll find out soon enough.â I winked at him
âI missed you,â he whispered.
âI really lost it when you were gone, Gia. I felt you slipping away from me. I was going crazy knowing I couldnât help you, that I didnât talk to you that day, that I didnât comfort you.
âWhen you did what you did, G, I was so proud of you, but when you didnât come back, I felt like a part of me was missing. Honestly, Gia, if it wasnât for Liv, I donât think I would have survived.â
âI know. I could hear you guys when I was over there, just bits and pieces, really. But Iâm back now, Kol, and you donât need to worry. Iâm not going anywhere anytime soon.â
I kissed him and led him outside, where Mom had gathered everyone. Rogue wolves were reuniting with their mates. Members of our pack were trickling into the grounds, their eyes wide with curiosity.
âWelcome, everyone!â my father boomed. âTonight we celebrate as my daughter, your princess and luna, has returned to us!â
I blushed as cheers and howls rang out throughout the crowd. Kol clasped my hand and squeezed it tightly.
Diego and Liv appeared behind us, beaming. âIf I could interrupt, Father, we have an announcement to make.â
Diego stepped forward and cleared his throat. âAs delighted as I am to have my pain in the ass of a sister back from the land of limboââ
I thumped his arm and he winced, cursing slightly. A rumble of laughter sounded throughout the crowd, and he spoke again.
âMy mate and I are happy to announce we are expecting a pup! Due in the fall!â Cheers rang out, and I hugged Liv excitedly.
Mom grabbed her too, squealing, âThis is so amazing!â
Kol and Father shook hands with Diego before hugging Liv, congratulating them both.
âThat settles it, then! Tonight we celebrate! Frieda, darling?â Mom stepped forward and threw light orbs into the sky, lighting the grounds with their glow. Ooos and aahs rang out.
The maids appeared with drinks and food for everyone, and we began our celebrations.
After the celebrations had begun to die down, Kol and I got ready to head home.
My parents had insisted that we stay at the castle, but after I not so subtly pointed out that my mate and I hadnât seen each other in just over two months, they agreed on dinner the following day.
Back at the house, I got ready for bed. âGreat news about Liv and Diego, huh?â I asked, fluffing my pillows. ~God, I missed this bed.~
âMmm, yeah,â Kol mumbled into my neck.
âMmm, hey, do you think maybe we should work on some cousins for their pups? What do you say?â I mumbled as he kissed my neck, his hands roaming my body.
âI say I havenât seen you naked in two months. Why are you still wearing clothes?â I giggled and unbuttoned my jeans, wiggling them to the floor.
Kol growled in appreciation and threw me onto the bed. âYouâre so beautiful,â he mumbled into my neck, inhaling my scent. I wrapped my legs around his waist and tugged him close.
Our hands wandered each otherâs bodies, removing clothes in a hurry. âGod, I missed you,â I gasped, feeling his hard body under my touch.
I pulled him in for a kiss and sank deeper into the bed. He tucked my legs around his waist, sliding into me roughly. âOoooooohhh!â My eyes rolled in my head, and he growled, biting into my neck.
I clutched him tighter and dug my nails into his back, drawing blood. âFuck, Gia. I missed you,â he grunted, thrusting into me.
I lifted one leg up around his neck and arched my back, clutching the bed sheets. âFuck, Kol. Oh my God,â I groaned.
He took a nipple in his mouth and sucked it, his hand playing with the other one before switching. I felt my orgasm building, my eyes rolling in my head.
âAaaaaaaahhhhh,â I cried out, waving my orgasm. Kol followed a couple of thrusts later. We lay in each otherâs arms, stroking each other gently.
âIâm happy youâre home, babe.â He kissed my forehead.
âMe too, babe,â I replied, kissing him back.
It felt good to be back in my mateâs arms; it felt like I was really home.
The first round took the edge off. Not seeing your love for a couple of months builds up frustration.
After that, we just made love slowly, reconnecting with each other, reminding each other of our love.
I didnât want that night to end. I fell asleep in his arms and knew I was never going to let him go.
