Mikha's Pov
"Gusto ko na umuwi." JL said.
"Ang sabihin mo lang ay namimiss mo na si kaori." Aki said.
"Ikaw din naman namimiss mo si vivoree." JL said.
"Ingay niyo dalawa." I said.
Kakatapos lang ng morning meeting conference namin, maglulunch palang kami sa isang japanese restaurant. Feel namin mag-ramen for lunch. Last na meeting na this afternoon then may dinner daw with kami with the other chefs kaya bukas pa ng umaga kami uuwi.
"Tiisin niyo nalang." I said.
"Tiisin eh ikaw ito halatado namimiss din si aiah." JL said.
"Pasalamat ka good mood ako dahil sa ramen." I said.
"JL hindi mo yan maasar si mikhs basta nag-eenjoy sa ramen." Aki said.
After eating, we went back to the building where the meeting is held. Naghihintay muna kami ng oras sa lounge area. Nanunuod sa tv yung dalawa habang mag-chachat palang sana ako kay aiah. Kagabi ang last na naka-chat ko siya, nung pauwi na siya. Hindi pa siya nag-seseen sa mga chat ko, baka busy sa work.
"Mikhs you need to go home now. Aiah needs you." Aki said.
Aki pointed at the tv. It's news about damien lee is now dead and aiah being rush to the hospital. Bigla nanginginig kamay ko, muntik ko na nabitawan phone ko. Tinignan ko sila aki, they nod at me.
"Kami na bahala sa meeting." JL said.
"Go, now." Aki said.
I nod at them then i went back to the hotel to get my things. I called my mom.
Call Conversation:
Me: Mom i'm going home, si aiah.
Mom: Honey i'm on my way to the hospital.
Mom: Pauwi na din galing canada parent's ni aiah.
Me: I need to use the private jet.
Mom: I know, the jet is already waiting for you.
Me: Mom si aiah.
Mom: Breath honey. We'll wait for you at the hospital.
I ended the call then went to the airport. The jet i'm using is owned by grandma. Every time i'm out of the country, she always make sure a private jet is ready kahit sabihin ko na hindi naman kailangan. Gamitin ko daw in case of emergency, i didn't expect that i'll use it now. Hindi ako mapakali sa buong byahe. After a few hours, i arrived.
Si gwen ang nag-sundo sakin, dumiretso kami sa hospital. Kakalipat lang daw sa private room si aiah. Nasa loob si kuya bryan at tita cathy.
Nanghihina ako, seeing aiah in the hospital bed. Nagulat sila kuya bryan na ang bilis ko dumating galing japan. He said that aiah was kidnapped last night, susunduin palang sana siya ni jho.
"Maloi's team found their location and rescued them but aiah was shot by damien lee." Bryan said.
"Damien lee? I thought nakakulong siya." I said.
"He escaped with gelo just a few days ago while you were in japan." Bryan said.
"She still should have told me kuya. I should have been with her." I said.
"Aiah didn't want to tell you because she wants you to focus in the conference." Bryan said.
"Kuya you said their location. Sino kasama ni aiah?" I asked.
"It's me." Jeremy said.
Jeremy just came in with mom and our friends. I pinned jeremy on the wall, i don't know what came over to my mind.
"You! Did you plan this with damien and gelo?!" I said.
"Mikhs calm down." Jho said.
Sinusubukan ni jho at colet na ihiwalay ako kay jeremy, hindi nila kaya. Hindi ko alam saan ko nakuha lakas ko.
"You want me to calm down?! Jho this guy is an irresponsible brother! Napapahamak palagi mga tao sa paligid niya!" I said.
"Mikha i know my mistakes before but it's doesn't mean i didn't change myself." Jeremy said.
"Ikaw nagbago? You let patrick, your own brother be kidnapped before. Sinabi ko na bantayan mo siya habang may bilhin lang ako. I saw that you just looked at them. Na-trauma siya na wala ginawa ang kuya niya." I said.
I let him go then went back to aiah's side. Yes, that's the reason why jeremy and i aren't close. He let his own brother be kidnapped in front of him. I was the one who followed the van that took patrick. I'm the first person that patrick saw and hugged when he was rescued.
"Tell me why you were with aiah. Be honest jeremy." I said.
"I was guarding her for you as your stepbrother. Gusto ko makabawi from my mistake, gusto ko maging close ulit sayo. Mikhs being kidnapped was aiah's plan to trap damien lee and gelo." Jeremy said.
"What do you mean it was her plan?" I asked.
"Before getting kidnapped, she sent me a message to help her. Ayaw niya din sabihin kila jho na may plano siya." Jeremy said.
"Kaya pala siya nagpa-late na magpasundo, she knows that someone is watching her every step." Jho said.
"Aiah knows that damien lee have an inside man in the law firm watching her and waiting for the right time to take her." Jeremy said.
I hold aiah's hand. Jeremy said aiah's plan is for him to follow the van then call colet and jho to send back-up. After he called, he was caught. Kaya pala may mga pasa siya, ngayon ko lang napansin. Damien lee is the one who shot aiah.
"Babi kakaiba ka talaga na attorney." I said.
"Alam mo naman si aiah, gagawin niya ang gusto niya gawin." Bryan said.
"Damien lee is dead, i shot him. Gelo is still out there." Colet said.
"Teka bakit hindi siya nahuli? Mas delikado siya." I said.
"Mikha we're using all of our connections to find him." Colet said.
"I'm gonna help." I said.
"No you won't." Maloi said.
"You can't stop me maloi." I said.
"Maloi ako na bahala kay mikha, i'll be beside her." Jeremy said.
"Hindi ko kailangan ng kasama." I said.
"Yes you do, i'm your brother and i won't take no as an answer." Jeremy said.
"Bakit pakiramdam ko na kukulitin mo lang ako kahit ano pagtaboy ko sayo?" I asked.
"I will talaga sis." Jeremy said.
Aaminin ko medyo gumaan pakiramdam ko kay jeremy. After a few minutes, lumabas muna si tita cathy with kuya bryan, jeremy and my mom. Kami-kami lang nila colet dito sa room.
"Mikha lim saan mo nakuha lakas mo kanina kay jeremy?" Colet asked.
"Matindi, akala mo nagtraining." Sheena said.
"Sorry guys. Nag-wala lang talaga isip ko kanina." I said.
"Atleast alam na namin reason bakit hindi kayo close." Maloi said.
"So medyo okay na ba si jeremy sayo mikhs?" Stacey asked.
"Medyo at thankful din ako na nandun siya para tulungan si aiah. Kayo nga hindi din nag-sasabi na may bad things na pala nangyayare dito habang wala ako." I said.
"Rinig mo naman sabi ni kuya bryan na gusto ni aiah focus ka lang dun sa japan." Gwen said.
"Tsaka kinulit kami ni aiah na wag muna sabihin sayo." Jho said.
I look at aiah, hindi pa siya nagigising. Bigla ko naramdaman nanghihina tuhod ko. Napansin nila colet, pinaupo muna ako.
"Teka mikhs paano ka nakarating agad galing japan?" Sheena asked.
"I used a private jet." I said.
"Jet? As in private jet? Wow." Stacey said.
"Girls, si mikhaela janna lim yan." Gwen said.
"What happened to it's their money and not mine?" Jho asked.
"Aiah happened, i used the private jet from the jimenea side." I said.
"A little info, mikha's family on the mother side is a bit much richer than the lim side." Maloi said.
"Ang dami talaga surprise ni mikha satin." Sheena said.
"This time i'm gonna use my lim side in finding gelo." I said in a serious tone.
"Before you do that, you should get some sleep mikhs." Maloi said.
"Alam namin hindi uso jet lag sayo pero katawan mo na nag sabi na need mo ng tulog." Colet said.
"Wake me up pag magising na si aiah." I said.
"We will, don't worry." Colet said.
Umidlip ako sa isang couch malapit kay aiah. Tama sila, need ko din bumawi ng tulog. Nagising ako sa boses ni aiah kausap parent's niya. Napatayo ako kaagad.
"Aiah." I said.
"Hi babi." Aiah said while smiling.
Lumapit ako kay aiah, i hugged her. She hugged me back.
"You got me worried." I said.
"Sorry babi." Aiah said.
I let her talk to her parent's first. I went to the hallway, kakabalik ng papi line galing bumili ng dinner. Pinauwi na daw muna nila colet sila maloi. Umuwi na din daw si mom at jeremy.
"Mikhs call one of us pag hindi mo kasama sa paghahanap kay gelo." Jho said.
"Don't confront him just by yourself." Colet said.
I nod at jho and colet.
"I feel so useless, why didn't i noticed. Every night naman kami magkatawag." I said.
"Mikhaela lim you're not useless. Don't say that." Gwen said.
"The important thing is aiah's fine now." Jho said.
"I really need to find gelo as should as possible." I said.
"We will find him okay? Let's go back inside so we can eat na." Colet said.
We went inside the room, umalis muna saglit sila tito bernard. Sinusubuan ko si aiah dahil medyo nanghihina pa siya, kumakain din ako.
"Babi sorry ulit." Aiah said.
"It's okay na po. Happy na ako na okay kana." I said.
I hold her hand then kissed the back of it.
"Maloi told me what happened earlier when you arrived." Aiah said.
"I kinda lost control with jeremy but i let him explain. I understand the situation." I said.
"He really wants to be a brother to you." Aiah said.
"I felt it when he was explaining. We're gonna find gelo together." I said.
"Can you let maloi's team handle finding him? Baka ano pa mangyare sayo." Aiah said.
"I can't do that. Gelo is different." I said.
"Help them find him but don't do what i did going alone." Aiah said.
"I won't do that." I said.
"Promise?" Aiah asked.
"Promise." I said.
I smiled then kissed her forehead.
"Promise and we'll get married po." I said.
Narinig ko na napa-ubo yung tatlo.
"Hindi ba uso mag-busina mikhs?" Jho asked.
"Ang sarap ng kain namin eh." Colet said.
"Muntik na mahulog pagkain ko." Gwen said.
"Ayaw niyo ba ikasal kami ni mikha lim? I'll marry her." Aiah said while smiling.
Napa-ubo ulit yung tatlo. Namula naman ako sa sinabi ni aiah. Bumabanat lang ako pero mas malakas banat ni aiah.
"Wala talaga pag-busina sa inyong dalawa." Gwen said.
"Bahala kayo dyan itutuloy ko na pagkain ko." Colet said.
"Hindi nalang sana umuwi si stacey para may bebe time din kami." Jho said.
"Bebe time o bardagulan time?" I asked.
"Wala, ituloy ko na din pagkain ko." Jho said.
Minsan lang ako nananalo kila jho pag nag-aasaran kami papi line. Aiah is smiling while looking at us.
Jho and i stayed with aiah for the whole night. Kinaumagahan umuwi muna ako sa bahay then i went to the lim's mansion. I asked dad for permission to use the private investigators.
"Jeremy already told me the situation. Be careful, don't go all alone in finding gelo." Dad said.
"Everyone tells me to not go all alone in confronting gelo." I said.
"Mikha dear everyone knows you so well. Even your stepbrothers." Dad said.
"Ate janna is here." Patrick said.
Lumapit si patrick sakin, binuhat ko siya.
"Why is ate janna's face looks tired?" Patrick asked.
"See? Even patrick, maliit palang yan." Dad said.
"Ate janna is just sleepy." I said.
"Then bawi ka po ng sleep." Patrick said.
"I will pat." I said.
"Can you eat dinner with us tonight?" Patrick asked.
"I'll try, go eat your breakfast na." I said.
Binaba ko na si patrick at pumunta na siya sa dining room. Jeremy just came down from upstairs.
"Mikhs mr. Dizon just called me, the investigators just found some possible locations." Jeremy said.
"Let's go." I said.
"Mikhaela janna lim call colet for back-up. Wag lang kayong dalawa ni jeremy." Dad said.
"Don't worry dad, mag-iingat kami." Jeremy said.
Jeremy and i left the mansion by using our own cars. I sent colet the locations that jeremy got from the investigators. Almost mga abandoned warehouse ang locations. Nag-stop kami ni jeremy sa malapit na location.
Nag-chat muna ako kay colet at maloi ng location ko then pumasok na kami ni jeremy sa warehouse.
"Jeremy after this dinner tayo sa mansion." I said.
"Talaga? You'll have dinner with us?" Jeremy asked.
"Yes, we're family." I said.
"And family sticks together." Gelo said.
Gelo appeared with three guys, one of them knocked out jeremy while gelo is pointing a gun at me.
"Mikhaela lim, nice to see you again." Gelo said while smiling mischievously.
