Aiah's Pov
"Aiah." Stacey said.
"What?" I asked.
"What do you feel towards mikhs?" Stacey asked.
I looked at the door.
"Don't worry, sinara ko." Stacey said.
"She's special to me, i don't want her to disappear from my life." I said.
"You fell harder to her." Stacey said.
"It's the first time i felt this way. I didn't feel this when i'm with jeremy or gelo." I said.
Stacey touched my forehead with the back of her hand.
"It's confirmed." Stacey said.
"Huh?" I asked.
"You are really in love maraiah queen arceta." Stacey said.
"Stacey what if i noticed mikha's crush for me before?" I asked.
"Aiah we don't know what would had happened but what's important now is the present. It kinda cute seeing the two of you in a dating stage." Stacey said.
"It's like we're teenagers but we're young adults now. Speaking of adults, hindi ko pa nasabi kila mom na i have a girl suitor." I said.
"Then tawagan mo na sila ngayon." Stacey said.
I opened my phone then called dad.
Video Call Conversation:
Me: Hi dad.
Dad: Hello dear, bryan said nasa baguio ka.
Me: Yes dad, kamusta kayo ni mom?
Dad: We're doing fine here, uuwi kami this month for our wedding anniversary.
Me: Really? I can't wait to see you both.
Dad: By the way, say hi to your girl suitor for us.
Me: Girl suitor? Dad you know mikha is courting me?
Dad: Of course, she personally went here. Oops i should have not said that. Bye dear.
Dad ended the call, i'm confused at what he just said.
"Did your dad just said that mikha personally went there? In canada?" Stacey asked.
"Yeah, dad just said it but mikha was here in baguio last week." I said.
"Hmm weird." Stacey said.
"Kausapin ko si mikha later." I said.
"Okay, tara na sa baba. Naaamoy ko na may nagluluto na sa grill." Stacey said.
"Minsan same kayo ni shee ng ilong pagdating sa pagkain." I said.
We went downstairs, sheena is in the living area watching tv, maloi is in the kitchen while colet is in the deck grilling the meats.
"Saan si mikha?" I asked.
"Kasama niya si jho at gwen sa backyard." Maloi said.
"Thanks maloi." I said.
I went to the backyard, i see the three of them. Naglakad ako palapit sa kanila.
"Hi guys, mind if i take my suitor?" I asked.
"Of course aiah." Gwen said.
"She's all yours." Jho said.
Gwen and jho left. Mikha and i are looking at the night sky. The moon is a bit bright tonight. Nakikita ko mukha ni mikha.
"Tapos kana ba mag-unpack? I can make matcha latte for you." Mikha said.
"Maybe later, right now i just want to look at the moon." I said.
"Are you sure?" Mikha asked.
"Well, i wanna make sure about something i heard earlier." I said.
"Heard?" Mikha asked.
"I called my dad and he mentioned that you went to canada personally." I said.
Mikha's silent, i got my answer. Totoo na pumunta siya dun.
"Why were you there?" I asked.
"I-I asked for your parent's permission to court you." Mikha said.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.
"Because i wanna surprise you and i felt that it's the first move before asking to court you." Mikha said.
"Thank you mikhs." I said.
"For what?" Mikha asked.
"For surprising me." I said.
"Well, it was a nerve wracking experience. Akala ko hindi nila ako papayagan." Mikha said.
"Would you give up if they didn't let you?" I asked.
"Of course not. If that happened then i'll prove to them how sincere i am." Mikha said.
"You're really full of surprises." I said.
"I'll always try my best for you aiah." Mikha said.
Mikha pats my head, we smiled at each other. After a few minutes, i'm back inside the house while mikha went to help colet grilling outside. Stacey and i helped maloi cook some of the additional foods since we are eight people.
Jho and gwen are setting up the deck where we will eat while mikha and colet are grilling the meats and seafoods.
"Aiah kailan ka gumaling sa pagluluto?" Stacey asked.
"I always watched mikha cook when i'm in her condo." I said.
"Nag improve ang skills ah." Stacey said.
"Minsan she let me cook with her." I said.
"So is it true then that she was in canada?" Stacey asked.
"It's true, mikha personally went there to asked permission from my parents." I said.
"That's very brave of mikha, i didn't expect that she could do that." Maloi said.
"Tama maloi." Stacey said.
"Aiah's smiling." Maloi said.
"I'm not." I said.
"Liar." Stacey said with her teasing eyes.
"Ipunta ko na sa deck mga ibang pagkain." I said.
I went outside to the deck where jho and gwen already finished setting up.
"Hi guys. Here's the first batch of foods." I said.
"Thanks aiah, you can now sit down while i call the others." Gwen said.
"Tulungan ko lang si stacey ilabas iba pang pagkain." Jho said.
Umupo na din ako, while mikha and colet are still grilling foods. After a few minutes, jho and the others are now also here in the deck.
"Here are the meats and seafoods." Colet said.
"Yes my favorite." Sheena said.
"Lahat ata ng pagkain favorite mo shee." Mikha said.
"Quiet mikhs, let's eat guys." Sheena said.
All of us laughed first then we started eating dinner. We're lucky there's so many stars tonight, it's nice having dinner under the starry sky.
After dinner, some went to go night swimming by the pool while some just sat on the chairs watching the others swim. I went upstairs to our room and saw mikha unpacking her things.
"Hindi ka pa ba mag-swimming kasama sila stacey?" Mikha asked.
"My stomach is too busog to swim." I said.
"I think you ate too much dinner." Mikha said while smiling.
"It was very delicious especially the seafoods." I said.
I sat on the bed while looking at mikha.
"Is there something on my face?" Mikha asked.
"Nothing, i just want to look at you." I said.
Her cheeks are suddenly blushing. Halata kinikilig siya.
"You're blushing." I said.
"I-It's because of you looking at me." Mikha said.
Tumayo ako, hinawakan ko pisngi niya.
"It's really cute when you're stuttering because of me." I said.
"I-I'll just get something downstairs." Mikha said.
She quickly left the room. My phone is ringing, it's my mom calling for a video call.
Video Call Conversation:
Me: Hi mom.
Mom: Hello dear, are you having fun?
Me: Yes mom, i was also full from our dinner.
Mom: That's good dear, just enjoy your vacation.
Me: Mom you already know about mikha.
Mom: Your dad told me he slipped when you called earlier.
Me: I'm curious of what she said to the both of you.
Mom: Why don't you ask her?
Me: I'm shy to ask her.
Mom: It's a first time that you're shy to ask.
Me: Mom just tell me please.
Mom: It's a bit of a long words dear.
Me: Mom.
Mom: She said that she wants to be that someone better for you. That she's a girl who wants to be there for you, even if she's busy she'll be there.
Me: She really said that?
Mom: Yes dear, she's a keeper.
Me: She is mom.
Mom and i talked for a bit then i went downstairs. They are a bit noisy at the side of the pool. I see someone holding a guitar, it's mikha. I sat on one of the chairs beside her.
"Ano meron?" I asked.
"Mikha is going to sing the song she was supposed to sing during high school the talent show but she got sick." Sheena said.
"Really? Gusto ko din marinig." I said.
"I'll try if i still can remember." Mikha said while smiling.
"Mikhs i'll play the guitar while you sing." Colet said.
Colet took the guitar from mikha then started to strum the guitar. Mikha looks at the night sky then looks at me.

All of us clapped at mikha.
"Ganda boses ah." Stacey said.
"Sayang na nagkasakit ka noon." Sheena said.
The others continued swimming, leaving me and mikha alone. I suddenly remembered i know that song.
"Mikhs ikaw yung kumakanta sa rooftop." I said.
"Rooftop?" Mikha asked.
"I heard someone sing it at the rooftop before but when i went to look who it is, there was no one there." I said.
"Oh that? I might have left at the other stairs when i heard someone's footsteps. Ikaw pala yun." Mikha said.
Mikha holds my hand but she's looking at the others. I'm amaze how she mustered her confidence for me.
"Mikha you really have a nice voice. If you didn't get sick before then surely the boys or girls of our school would have been attracted to you." I said.
"You're exaggerating aiah. I told you i look like a nerd before." Mikha said, laughing a bit.
"I'm telling the truth. I like your hearing your voice especially when you sing." I said.
"Then i'll try to sing more for you." Mikha said.
"I like hearing your voice but i also like your cooking." I said.
"Well, except my voice and cooking. Do you also like me?" Mikha asked.
I pinched her cheek. That caught me off guard.
"Cheeky mikhs." I said.
"You can crash in my condo anytime, i'll always cook for you." Mikha said.
"Hey you two, aren't you gonna joins us? Come here." Stacey said.
"We'll start with mikhs." Colet said.
"Wait wait wait." Mikha said.
"Too late mikhs." Jho said.
Jho and colet carried mikha then the two of them jumped to the pool with mikha.
"Your turn aiah." Stacey said.
"Wait i'll go in." I said.
I quickly jumped to the pool. I see mikha just near me, i went close to her.
"Are you okay mikhs?" I asked.
"I'm okay as long as i'm with you." Mikha said.
