Howard’s rebuttal rendered Lily speechless. “Anyways, I won’t come out. Come inside if you want to get the divorce agreement signed!”

Howard thought of Skyler’s words. His gaze flashed as he said icily, “Tell me your ward number!”

After telling him, Lily hung up on the call straight away, Howard unbuttoned the second button of his collar. Skyler Moore had prepared these props for him. He could not return without any gains.

He laughed at himself as he looked at the hospital building. He did not expect him to act as a spy when he was the president of a company. He suddenly regretted everything. How did things get to this point for him and Jocelyn? Back then, he had gotten together with Lily White since Jocelyn kept rejecting him.

However, he did not expect that he would have to pay back so much in return! There were two bodyguards standing by the door after Howard went upstairs. Not only did they search his body, but they also took his phone away. Lily was eating an apple when he entered the ward. Howard handed the divorce agreement to Lily straight away. Lily flipped through the document and started frowning. “Why didn’t you give me anything?”

Howard had a heavy expression on his face. “What do you want?”

Lily did not hesitate before blurting out, “Money!” Howard cast a look of irony at her. He sneered and said, “You really do love money!”

Lily’s expression changed slightly. “You knew what I like when we were in bed together back then!”

Howard smirked sarcastically and said, “Don’t you know that you can’t trust what men say in bed?”

Lily had an icy expression on her face. “I don’t care about any of this. I’m your wife right now. I want to have an equal share of your financial assets. If this doesn’t work out, let’s settle this in court. I don’t believe that I won’t be able to get a single cent! Don’t even think of ditching me just like that!”

Howard looked at the greedy expression on Lily’s pale and innocent-looking face. The tone of his voice was slightly stiff. “The netizens should really see your disgusting face and words. If you want to have a divorce lawsuit, go ahead! Anyways, Oasis Jewelry is heavy in debt right now. The company is facing plenty of lawsuits as well. If you want it that much, I can give you an equal share of it all!” Lily stiffened.

Her expression changed immediately. “I’ll sign it!”

Howard felt so disgusted when he saw how quickly her expression changed that he felt the urge to vomit Suddenly, he felt that not only was his business skills way beneath that of Skyler Moore, but his evaluation of people were terrible as well. Back then, he must have been blind to have gotten together with Lily White! Howard recalled Skyler’s instructions when he saw Lily signing the papers. He said coldly,“ Don’t be too proud of yourself. The netizens simply think that you’re pitiful right now. Can vou pretend to commit suicide to gain everyone’s sympathy every single time? I don’t even know how those netizens can bring themselves to say such words. You were the one who kept asking me to trick Jocelyn for her designs after having a taste of the benefits that you gained. How dare you act all innocent right now? Are you shameless, Lily White?!” Lily laughed nonchalantly and said, “So what?! Do they have any evidence?” Howard felt like this was the first time that he was getting to know Lily. “You disgust me. You were only capable of blaming everything on me this time around because Jocelyn White didn’t have any of your incriminating evidence!” Lily simply scoffed and reached out her hand to move the stray strands of her hair away from her forehead. “It’s enough if they believe in me this time around. I’m so pitiful. So what if Jocelyn wins the lawsuit? She’ll still have a reputation for being a ruthless and heartless person that doesn’t care about family!” Howard’s gaze flashed as he said, “She’s now in Prosperity Jewelry.

Skyler Moore is protecting her!”

Lily acted like she had heard a major joke when she heard what he said. She smirked sarcastically and said, “So what? Jocelyn’s reputation has been ruined everywhere. Regardless of how powerful Skyler Moore is, can he change the netizens’ opinion?”

She raised her brows and rolled her eyes proudly. “Those netizens are complete fools. They’ll believe in anything that I say now! Most of them are just following the general public opinion. Don’t you know that?”

Howard stared at her wrist. His expression suddenly changed. “You didn’t slit your wrist?” Lily’s hand froze as she signed the document. She then threw the signed divorce agreement to Howard and covered her wrist. “What nonsense are you talking about?!”
