Ask someone to hand the car and relay any information over to me. That’s all you need to do!”

After speaking, Lynn turned around and walked away.

She had lost her family, gotten raped, and suffered a miscarriage. She wanted Lily and Howard to pay a painful price for everything that had happened to her!

During lunch in the afternoon.

Just now, Yvonne had told Jocelyn that she wanted to discuss the customization of her jewelry set over lunch.

Skyler only found out that Lexie was working at Prosperity Jewelry today. Jim smirked and fixed a doting gaze upon Lexie. “Xixi, is it fun at Prosperity Jewelry? If it isn’t fun, you can come to my company. I’ll welcome you with open arms!”

Lexie glanced at him coldly. Her gaze made it seem like she was looking at a retarded person.

She ignored Jim and walked faster, Jim did not pay her any mind. She laughed cheekily and caught up with her. Jocelyn and Skyler walked behind them. Skyler knew that Jocelyn’s ankle hurt, so he did not walk fast.

When they were about to arrive at the company, Skyler asked, “Does your ankle still hurt?”

Jocelyn glanced at Skyler and said, “It no longer hurts. Thank you for your concern, President Moore!”

Skyler felt rather suffocated as a dark expression appeared on his handsome face.

Did he not want to maintain a contractual relationship with Jocelyn and keep his distance from her in the past?

Why did he feel exceptionally uncomfortable when Jocelyn was acting this way toward him?

Skyler walked forward while feeling angry at himself. Suddenly, he thought about how Michael had called him in the morning.

He glanced at Jocelyn. He was suddenly clueless as to whether he would tell Jocelyn about that letter and let her know the truth.

Michael was not Jocelyn’s biological father. Logically, Jocelyn would understand why Michael treated her so badly after he told her the truth.

However, at the same time, Jocelyn would also find out that Grace was not her biological mother.

Skyler found out that Grace had treated Jocelyn very well. If Jocelyn knew about this, she would definitely feel extremely upset.

She wished that she could kill Michael after knowing that he had faked her mother’s letter. She no longer treated him as her biological father right now. No father would ever treat their own child like that! Skyler’s heart felt rather heavy. “How about your mother? What kind of relationship did you have with her?”

Jocelyn suddenly raised her head to look at Skyler. “Why are you asking me about this?”

There was a rather unnatural expression on Skyler’s face as he turned around to look in another direction. His gaze glittered. “It’s nothing much. I was just asking for fun. After all, Michael treats you so badly, yet you haven’t developed a vengeful personality. That means your childhood shouldn’t have been too bad. That’s why I’m curious about what kind of a person your mother was and how the relationship between both of you is!” Jocelyn stared at Skyler for a few seconds. “President Moore, why would you be curious about this? This doesn’t sound like something you’d do!”

Skyler felt rather guilty. “Is that so? I was just asking you a random question. It’s fine if you don’t want to talk about it!”

There was a reminiscent gaze in Jocelyn’s eyes when she thought about her mother. “It’s not that I don’t want to talk about it, but no words can describe the relationship between both of us. She treats me really well. I love her a lot. She’s a really good person!”

Jocelyn did not say any other words. If she did not have her mother, she would definitely grow up to become a vengeful person!

Skyler felt mixed emotions. He wanted to comfort Jocelyn. However, before he could say anything, Jocelyn spoke, “President Moore, we’re about to arrive at the company. I’ll go first so that nobody will misunderstand the relationship between us!”

After speaking, Jocelyn started walking faster while ignoring the pain in her ankle.

Skyler looked at her silhouette as an unpleasant expression formed on his face.

From that moment onwards, he simply felt that she deserved it!
