Jocelyn turned around and caught sight of Lexie’s cold expression. There was a tight frown on her face Lexie looked at the four people in front of her. She seemed to be stunned by the combination of people in the group Jocelyn laughed as she read Lexie’s mind instantly. She was just about to explain things when someone else rushed toward Lexie before she could. Jim smiled brilliantly as he called out,” Xixi!”

Lexie frowned in disgust and moved further away from him “Mr. Rand, my name is Lexie!”

Jim looked rather hurt. “Xixi, we haven’t met in a few days. Don’t be so cold toward me!”

Lexie looked at him in annoyance “Please behave yourself, Mr. Rand!”

Jim sighed in exasperation and said, “We’ve known each other for such a long time Why are you still so hostile toward me?”

Lexie said expressionlessly, “I wouldn’t treat you that way if you acted a little more normally!”

There was an innocent expression on Jim’s face as he turned around to look at Jocelyn and Skyler. “Am I not normal?”

Skyler fixed his gaze on Jocelyn. He completely ignored Jim.

Jocelyn did not want to stand there without doing anything. She said, “Lexie, we’re going to grab lunch.

Do you want to come with us?”

When Jim heard what Jocelyn said, an excited expression immediately formed on his face. Lexie looked at Jim, then looked at Jocelyn. “Alright, I’ll come with you then!”

The few of them walked outside Jim was overjoyed. “Xixi, you made the right choice to come with us for lunch. It’ll be fun with more people around!”

Lexie chose to ignore him. The comer of Jocelyn’s lips twitched as she said, “Mr Rand, don’t be so excited. You’re scaring Lexie!”

Jim was rather stunned. There was a confused expression on his face as he said, “That can’t be! Don’t they all say that women are afraid of men pestering them? How can women dislike men that treat them warmly? This makes no sense!”

Jocelyn laughed. “You’re really experienced, Mr Rand!” “Right, back then, I was.” He changed the topic when he noticed Lexie casting a sideways glance at him He immediately said, “Being the pure and innocent person that I was, I prevented a lot of flirtatious women from laying their hands on me!”

Skyler felt rather uncomfortable as he watched Jocelyn and Jim chatting and laughing together He Interrupted them instinctively without thinking twice. “You were a flirtatious playboy that accepted anyone’s advances on you!” Jocelyn chuckled lightly after hearing what Skyler said. “What President Skyler said makes sense. How can a pure and innocent person share so much about his personal experiences?”

Jim glared at Skyler angrily. “Skyler, you did that on purpose!” Skyler glanced at Jocelyn. She was laughing in a carefree manner. Her eyes shone like there were stars in them.

He smirked and said, “Yes, I did that on purpose! I wanted to expose your lies!”

Jim did not expect Skyler to admit to what he had done so honestly. He was momentarily stunned.

Yvonne clenched her fists as rage boiled up within her. She was the one who had asked Jocelyn to eat together with them, but Jocelyn was not willing to go with them. After that, Skyler was reluctant to come with her as well. However, she was beyond enraged when she saw Jocelyn, Skyler, and Jim laughing and chatting away happily. They walked out of the Prosperity Jewelry building.

Yvonne could not conceal the rage in her eyes. She suddenly met Lexie’s clear and cold gaze.

Lexie’s clear eyes were filled with caution.

Yvonne stiffened and was about to withdraw her gaze when someone called out her name.

“Yvonne Rand!”

All of them looked over at once.

Lynn stood nearby. Her face was deathly pale. She looked like a ghost that had just escaped from hell.

Yvonne almost failed to recognize her. “Lynn… Lynn Rand, what happened to you?!” Lynn looked at her from the distance and said, “Come over! There’s something that I need to tell you!”

Skyler remained expressionless whereas Jim smirked and said in a purposeful tone, “Yvonne, head over and find out why she’s looking for you!”

Yvonne nodded and walked over to Lynn. Jocelyn frowned. She kept having the instinct that something was slowly happening behind her back Yvonne walked in front of Lynn. Both of them took a few steps into the distance.

Yvonne lowered her voice with a disgusted expression on her face. “Why are you looking for me?

Besides, how did you find me here?”

Now that the Quirrel family was out of power, Yvonne no longer had to butter up Lynn. She did not have to bear with her tantrums as well.

Lynn cast a dark gaze at Yvonne. It was as if she were a terrifying and evil ghost.

She spoke up in a light and soft voice, “There are reasons why I was looking for you! I heard from your servants that you came to Prosperity Jewelry to look for Mr. Moore together with Jim!”

Lynn knew that Skyler had handed out the evidence regarding her father.

However, there was not any bad blood between him and the Quirrel family. She finally understood why he did that after recalling the few men’s words from that night.

It was all because of that b*tch, Lily White. She kept thinking of ways to get married to Howard. She had caused her family to be divided and eventually fall to their demise.

She was not a match for Skyler. She knew that clearly. However, she had never thought of seeking revenge on Skyler.

Instead of Skyler, she hated Howard and Lily more. She wished that she could skin both of them alive and rip them into pieces!

Yvonne was still feeling anxious under Lynn’s gaze. She just wanted to get rid of Lynn as soon as possible. She spoke to her in a rather impatient tone, “Why are you looking for me?”

“Give me a car. Ask some of your men to monitor every action of Lily White and Howard Jung!” Lynn said directly and matter-of-factly.

Yvonne’s expression stiffened as she asked, “Lynn, are you out of your mind? Why would i help you to do all these?”
