. . .

Akane was standing by the doors when Diana and I walked out together. Fuck, I think I forgot to tell Goryo to come to the front… Hopefully he’ll see me somehow…

“Hey!” Akane gave me a hug as she chuckled. “How was today? Did you two have fun in your last class?” She giggled a bit before Kazuki grabbed her from behind, effortlessly and effectively making her jump. “Ah! F-fuck you!” Akane joked.

Kazuki chuckled to himself a bit before resting against the wall. “Sorry I can’t come over at all this weekend… my mother needs me to watch Jirou and… well, yeah.”

Suddenly, Akira stepped over to the four of us in a polite manner, waving her hand gently as she let out a soft speech, “hi guys!”

“Akira! Hi!” Akane chuckled to herself. “Don’t you have to get a ride?”

“Well… I was thinking I could come over tonight! For the first time, y’know?” Akira giggled lightly before looking at me. “Don’t worry, I can steal clothes from you. We already know we’re the same size.”

Akane giggled with Akira.

I had completely forgotten that Akira had never actually been over my house before. “Can you handle boats well?”

“Plenty! I’ve gone fishing and stuff plenty of times!” She let out before going to stand on the opposite side of Akane, the side Kazuki wasn’t standing beside.

I glanced at Diana before chuckling. “This is gonna be crazy tonight, I already know it will be.” She smiled lightly before Hibiki came up to us.

“Hey,” he spoke gently, paying a lot of his attention to me for some reason. I didn’t really care but it was still odd.

“Hi,” I spoke, my voice slightly shaky. I guess that’s just what happens when a guy who can control how everyone perceives you is talking to you. I just have to pay that price now, I guess?

Not like I have much of a reputation to lose anyway but it’s still the point. I glanced at Diana, very obviously sweating slightly. I cleared my throat to get her attention, she saw my discomfort and spoke up.

“So uh… how long will you be at your house for?” Diana asked Hibiki with a gentle tone as I stood there, trying not to seem as nervous as I actually was getting.

“Probably an hour, maybe a little more, I’ll just text King when I’m done,” Hibiki responded. Me? He was going to text me?! Why me!? I don’t get why it always has to be me.

I mean, seriously, if he’s trying to confuse me, he’s doing it really well because I have no idea what his stance is on me, but I’m just praying it’s something positive, even though it probably isn’t.

But I don’t know what goes through these people’s heads every day, is he secretly judging me? Is he actually just trying to get me to spill something… does he think I like him!? Fuck. If that’s the case I might actually murder someone.

Diana responded to Hibiki with a small chuckle as she glanced at me. Hibiki started walking off as he said bye. I waved softly as he slowly vanished into the crowd.

“Sooo… Akane… I was thinking you, Diana, Akira, and I could all run to the shops and hang out while we wait for Hibiki,” I let out. “...if you don’t want to join, you could go to the island.”

Akane smiled as he looked over at me, “of course I’ll join!” She chuckled lightly, “Kazuki, do you have to go home now?”

Kazuki shook his head no, meaning he would be accompanying us as well, which was pretty cool, I guess.

We all stood there for a moment. It wasn’t like we were going to go right away, we’d rather wait for the crowd here to die out before leaving.

“...by the way, King… Hibiki was talking about having a party this weekend somewhere…” Diana let out.

“...a… party?” I questioned. Hell yeah, this could be my chance to finally get to know people.

“Well… everyone’s parents are going to be in town… which means we’d have to postpone it-” She started before I interrupted.

“My parents will be gone this weekend because of the typhoon, we could throw it at my house. And then maybe have another one Saturday.”

“King! No!” Akane let out, “Mom and Hisa would kill us if they found out we threw a party.”

“Oh, come on Akane… I’ll put all the expensive shit away tonight and well… clean up Sunday morning as we let everyone leave…!”

“...King… how are you going to get everyone off the island without the captain questioning why you have so many people anyway…” she groaned.

She did have a point, but I’m willing to risk it.

“It’ll be fine, Akane, trust me. I know all the precautions.” I, in fact, know next to none.

She knew there was no winning so she just pouted her arms and leaned against the wall, visibly upset at me. I could always read her expressions, and while this one was easier to read, from a simple glance, unless spotting her slightly clenched fists, she didn’t seem at the ‘pissed’ stage yet, even though she was.

Akira glanced at me, “...I mean, a party could be fun, we would have to have it tomorrow…” She didn’t let out a chuckle of amusement which told me she was second guessing herself, probably.

I can’t pinpoint her emotions exactly because I don’t know her that well, I can really only read Diana and Akane because I’ve known them the longest.

I’m sure I can read Goryo as well, but that’s only because I was closer with him then I am with both Akane and Diana combined. But with Akane, it’s more than likely a genetics thing. Though, maybe it’s not, I’m not sure.

You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.

I glanced at Kazuki, he didn’t have an easy to read expression either, but I’m sure he was thinking about how he can’t come to the party because of his sister.

I would be the same way, if I ever had to watch Akane, though now I definitely wouldn’t have to because she’s fifteen and can definitely take care of herself, but still. I’m pretty protective of her, and I’m sure Kazuki is protective of his sister as well.

Didn’t he say her name was Jirou just now? That’s a weird name for a girl, but I really won’t judge.

I wouldn’t say that she’s transgender either because she’s got to be younger than Kazuki if he has to watch her which means she probably hasn’t even reached her double digits yet if I had to assume how his family goes around parenting, but I guess they got one thing right, that is a second… child. Not a son, a daughter, but she is probably the second-born child in the Kuno family.

And then I don’t know anything about Akira’s family so there’s also that too. But to be fair, I don’t talk to her unless it’s in painting or in my public speaking class, so there’s also that.

But she doesn’t usually talk about her home life and when she does it’s very subtle and very brief, very very brief. I’ve only heard about her brothers calling her “hot”, which in my opinion is absolutely disgusting. What even goes through your mind to make you say that about your sibling?

Apparently her whole family knows she’s a lesbian too, which makes it all the weirder. I only know this because she’s talked about it once at lunch and also because Akane got sexualized by her brothers too. I guess Akira’s just in a family of perverts or something of the sort.

Akane told me that other than that, Akira’s home life seems fine and that nothing concerning was going on while they were there. Akira didn’t seem mad or sad, just slightly uncomfortable whenever her brothers were around, which is reasonable considering what I just told you.

But I’m assuming that, considering Akane hasn’t told me anything else and with Akira sometimes dumping information on her about what’s going on in that house, it’s perfectly fine and safe for her to live there, for now.

Now about Diana… I know that her parents hate the fact that she’s transgender, and while they don’t have a problem with her transition, at least with what I know, they still don’t like it.

And that’s about all I know about her home life, for the most part actually.

I’ve been over there once and I’m never going to go over there again because they do not seem to respect the idea that people are actually people and in fact completely ignored the fact that there were children in the house.

But that’s all I know, and that’s final, I don’t want to know more, if there is more.

And it’s now time to finally learn about the perfect life of Hibiki Kaiyo and how rich his family is, this will totally be fun-

“Akane! King!” A brown haired girl yelped as she hugged Akane and I together, her girlfriend trailing behind her.

“Luna! Hi! You’re coming over tonight, right?” Akane was cheerful again, thank god.

“Yes yes yes!” Luna chuckled, “we both are!” Luna walked over to her girlfriend.

“Hey,” she spoke gently. “Luna… can we not run up to them like that please…”

“Chill out, Ann! I’m just having a little fun, hehe!” Luna chuckled as Ann sighed, leaning against the wall she was in front of.

These two were Ann and Luna, two girlfriends that you would never find apart. While I don’t know anything about them, Akane knows that they are obsessed with the myth of Ally and Lusha because their names sound very similar to the actual myth.

Once they went as them for Halloween and I think they did a pretty good job at recreating them. But damn the accent was strong with Ann.

Luna even wears her hair as Lusha does which I think is pretty cool actually. She says she wants to dye it but her parents would never let her.

Anyways, considering the two are here right now means they’re probably coming over tonight as well.

That means it’ll be Ann, Luna, Akira, Diana, Hibiki, and Goryo. Cool, I guess.

Ann and Luna stood next to each other, it was on the wall next to Akane, Akira, and Kazuki as there was no room next to the three of them on that wall.

Diana and I sat on the grass as I waited for Goryo to hopefully spot us. Hopefully he would, because it would really suck to have to chase him down.

“...we should find a movie to watch tonight. I think you, me, Goryo, and Hibiki could have fun with that,” Diana chuckled. I smiled lightly when she said that.

“That could be fun,” I responded, my voice slightly deeper than usual. My eyes felt heavy, but that’s probably because they were heavy. Everything felt heavy right now, probably because they were standing right behind me watching my every move.

. . .

I had gone back into the school because my bladder decided to be a bitch while I stood up.

Thankfully I made it there in time to actually let it out where it was supposed to go, but damn was it hard to hold it in.

I released my piss into the toilet like a normal person would, wiped off my clit, though I don’t think that’s necessary to add, flushed the toilet, left the stall, and washed my hands.

I looked in the mirror at myself for a moment, taking a step back, I moved some of my hair into my face. “...what’s wrong with me?”

I sighed before turning and walking out of the bathroom, there weren’t many people around so I figured it would be okay if I would just waltz around for a moment.

I took a deep breath as I studied the hallway I was standing in, it was pretty old, but at the same time it felt modern and slightly clean.

I didn’t really understand what my approach was to it, but I like going to school, I guess. It’s just been awkward only knowing Diana, Akane, and Akane’s friends.

But I do have good grades, but considering a lot of the popular kids are in my classes, which are classes for most advanced students, I guess that doesn’t make me that special.

I let a tear roll down my cheek, I rarely do that, and I haven’t since the day my dad died of pneumonia.

“...I’m… crying… why?” I looked down at my hands and clenched my fists lightly before putting my arms to my side and turning around, completely ignoring the noise of footsteps nearby.

As I walked, I wiped the tears from my eyes with the hem of my sweatshirt, I let out a small inhale as my body felt a little stiff.

If I spoke, my voice wouldn’t’ve sounded like a guy’s at all, not one bit. Which is why I was refusing to talk at all.

“...” I exhaled my breath as I composed myself together and walked out of the school, going over to where everyone was with a small smile on my face. “Hey guys!”

Everyone looked at me and waved, they were giggling. I saw Goryo next to Diana and I went over to him and gave him a hug.

“Thank you,” I spoke as he held me tighter. He nuzzled his face into my hair quickly before responding.

“I don’t know what I did, but you’re welcome,” he spoke as Akane turned to face me and actually noticed him.
