. . .
After dinner, I was still pretty mad, Diana was asking about reading the book but I honestly didnât want to. I was really tired.
âI⦠I think Iâm just going to go lay down,â I responded to her as she held the book up. âWe can leave it here and read it tomorrow, okay?â
She gave me the book, as I was the one that bought it and I went into my room. I, who was a little curious about the contents inside of said book, well, I put it down for a second before picking it up as I laid in my bed.
I put it against my knees, which I held a position that would hold the book and I opened to a random page.
âThe Legend of Gyakusatsuâ¦?â I whispered to myself, not wanting Diana to hear.
Sure, I couldâve locked my door, itâs a double sided key required one, so there was no way she could get in, but I didnât.
âIt says that⦠he leaves lettersâ¦?â I mumbled to myself as I hovered my eyes against the pages of the book.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
The handwriting was beautiful, it wasn't a standard computerized font, it was⦠pen and ink handwriting, manually written, on pages.
And damn, it was⦠really pretty, the loops in the letters, the downstrokes, the inconsistencies in some of the words.
Diana was going to love this. Really, she really was going to love this book as much Iâm loving this handwriting-
My bedroom door suddenly opened as I jumped and gasped, slamming the book closed and tossing it under my bed before glancing at the person who came in.
It was Goryo, right, yeah, it was going to be him, yeah, no shit. We stared at each other before he glanced at the empty spot next to me in my bed.
I nodded as he came over and got into it. He chuckled as he laid under the blankets, trying to look cute, I think.
âYou were reading the book King~â He teased as I groaned, I glared at him before responding, slightly jokingly and slightly pissy as well.
âI was curious, shut up- Eh!?â He was hugging me.
âSleep with me~ Sleep with me~â He chuckled as I slowly laid down, on my back, next to him.
I groaned. âLast time you did this⦠you- â¦nghâ¦â I sighed before turning to face him.
We locked eyes for a moment before he glanced down at the foot of the bed.
And so I got under the blankets.
Thank god Iâm 17.
