Gemini lugged the smoke machine all the way back to the hospital. "Ok where do we put it?" She asked. "We have no choice but to put it right in the middle of the hoard." Aqua crosses her arms.
"Ok what are we waiting for? LETS FINISH THIS!" Leo fist pumped in the air but then winced at the pain in his back. Pisces supported him. "Leo, calm down. Don't hurt yourself." She said sweetly.
Virgo handed them a few vials of the cure. The elderly women seemed to be very tired after letting Virgo take her blood. The children were asleep on the hospital bed.
They took a deep breath before exiting the building. "DIE!" Leo yelled as he fired rounds into the hoard, creating a way to go. Gemini punched them here and there. "Fire it up! Quickly!" Taurus swung his machetes to keep the distance between them and the infected.
Aqua dumped the cure into the place where the water is supposed to go and quickly turned it on. Nothing.
"WHY ISNT IT WORKING?!" She pounded the machine. "You forgot to plug it in..." Capricorn sighed. Capricorn grabbed the cord and plugged it in to the nearest outlet, the cord was pretty long, suitable to span out the size of a large stage.
Aqua punched the button. A whirring noise came from the machine and small clouds of smoke sputtered out. Soon enough the smoke rolled out in a fluid motion. The smoke was a light purple color.
The infected looked confused and seemed to be running away but they were way too slow. They wheezed as the smoke traveled into their noses and lungs.
The ones that were too far gone, decades of radiation, dropped dead, accepting the fate that was given to them. Aqua knew they were glad the torture was over.
The young ones, the ones with just a few years of exposure, their skin grew back but left horrendous scars. If they were missing organs the skin continued to heal but couldn't fix the internal problems, so they ended up dying.
Libra's group emerged from the hoard battered and bruised. "Nice job cadets." She gave Aqua a pat on the back. Virgo came out of the hospital to witness the cure in action. Aries walked up to her and have here a great big hug.
"You saved us all." He whispered in her ear. The sky seemed to lighten and the clouds drifted away. The lucky people who transformed back seamlessly were only left with a story and many scars. They were dazed and confused but overall glad they were back.
Everyone exchanged hugs and kisses. "Glad that was over." Scorpio muttered and gave a kiss on the cheek to Cancer. "Now we just have to spread this cure all over the world." Taurus said. Aqua shushed him and said "don't ruin the moment."
"I think granny needs rest after saving us." Virgo laughed.
They could go outside again, without worrying about death without worrying about infection.
Ten years later
The group had split and now live in various parts of the world, the cure was spread and the virus was completely eliminated from this earth.
Aquarius and Taurus- "Time to come in honey!" Aquarius called from the kitchen window, she wiped down her hands on the front of her apron. "Coming mom!" A small voice responded. "Call you brother too!" Aquarius remembered.
"Ok!" The girl said back. Aquarius felt warm hands wrap around her waist. "How's my wifey doing?" Taurus whispered into her hair. "Just fine, almost done with dinner." Aquarius giggled at his warm breath.
His slight stubble moved against her flawless skin. "Maybe I should have a taste?" He grabbed a spoon and put it in the pot. "Soup?" He asked putting the spoon in his mouth. Aqua nodded and bit her lip, she hoped it tasted good. "Don't bite your lip, you know what that does to me." Taurus smirked.
Aqua stopped "is it good?" Taurus nodded putting another spoon in his mouth. "As always." "KIDS, DINNER!" His low voice rumbled in their medium sized house.
Aqua stared out the window the view of London was amazing, especially in winter. "Aqua you coming? We are all at the table very hungry." She heard his whining. She grabbed the pot of soup and put it at the center of the table.
Taurus licked his lips. "Yay! Mom made soup!" Her eight year old daughter beamed a stunning smile. Her older son who was twelve licked his lips, wonder who he got that from.
Aqua put out bowls for each person and served the soup. Everyone started eating. "Aquas how was school?" Taurus looked at his daughter. "It was great daddy! I drew his picture." She unraveled a paper from her pocket.
"That's definitely going on the fridge!" He kissed her on the cheek and Aquas giggled in response. "What did you do at your friends house Taurius?"Â Her son was gulping down the soup.
"GREAT! We played X box and we talked about.." He suddenly blushed. Taurus raised his eyebrows Aquarius gave a suspicious glance. "GIIIIRRLLSS?" Taurus leaned in to hear more.
"DAAAAD!" Taurius whined, a habit he got from Taurus. "Oh c'mon son, I can help you! I succeeded during my time, look at the beautiful lady I got myself." He smiled at Aquarius.
"Taurius has a girlfriend, Taurius has a girlfriend!" Aquas repeated.
"SHHHHUUUUTTT UUUUUPPP!" Taurius yelled, he was blushing furiously.
Everyone at the whole table laughed with joy.
Virgo and Aries- "I'm back home babe!" Aries called while taking his coat and shoes off. "Just in time! I have a surprise for you!" She called from the living room.
Aries rushed to her side, excited for his present. "What is it?!" They had a beautiful big house right by the beach in Mexico, the crystal clear waters were somewhere they would often go after work to relax.
Virgo smiled, there was nothing in her hands. Virgo gave a soft unexpected kiss to her husband Aries. "What's wrong?" Aries was worried for a second.
"Aries....your going to be a father!" Virgo hugged him tightly. Aries was in shock but he was smiling uncontrollably. "I-m going to be a dad?" He stuttered. Virgo nodded and smiled again.
"YEEEEEESSSS!" Aries jumped up and yelled at the top of his lungs. He picked up Virgo bridal style and said "this calls for celebration!" He kicked the door open and carried her to the beach.
Virgo laughed and splashed water on him, the water was cool and crisp helping them cool off from the rising temperatures. "I love you." He kissed Virgo softly. "I love you to." She hugged him.
"IM GOING TO BE A FATHER!" He yelled out loud to the world.
