Aquarius lay in her bed, waiting for her mother to go to bed, she could hear her in the next room shuffling and turning in the bed. After about half an hour the sounds stopped. Aqua read her clock 1:30am.
Perfect. She thought. Aqua crept slowly and quietly down the hallway, with the biggest backpack she could find, it was her father's. The backpack had multiple pockets and secrets that even Aqua hadn't found yet. She shoved at least half of the pantry down the backpack, not caring if it was noticeable or not.
She was about to close the pantry but remembered. Ah, good thing she remembered. She grabbed Virgo's favorite candy, they were called Shakers, a mix of sour and sweet in the shape of dinosaurs. Aqua silently chuckled. That was her Virgo.
She slid out the door and slowly shut it, a silent click followed. The village actually looked scary at night. The snow was still falling, it was now up to her calves and it would only increase. Aqua buried her face into the layers of her scarf, her tan face blended in with the dark, making it easier for her to hide in the shadows. Not that she had to but you know it felt cool to do it so why not?
She was almost there, she could the shadow of Virgo's petite figure moved around in her room restlessly, waiting for Aqua.
Virgo was short she was only up to Aqua's chin. Aqua always made fun of her height. Aquarius was a normal 5'6 just a little less.
Aqua took the path between the elders house and his house, a short cut. She was just about to exit the so called alley but without warning strong firm hands grabbed her by the waist and pinned her to the wall, both her hands were being held down by them and her backpack lay a few feet away.
"Nice to meet you again." A velvety and seductive voice whispered. Aquarius stared into his electric blue eyes.
"Scorpio." She said with a grimace as he tightened his grip around her wrists.
"Let me go." Aquarius said softly, not wanting to wake up the elders.
Scorpio smiled devilishly " why should I babe?" He lowered his mouth to her neck but stopped.
"Don't call me babe, you asshole." Aqua said coldly and shivered at his warm breath so close to her neck.
"You still didn't answer my question." Scorpio pressed his body slightly closer to her, forcing Aqua to press her back against the wall.
"Just let me go, I'm doing something important." Aqua tightened her voice.
He lifted his head. "Tell me, why are you outside at 1:50 in the morning?"
Shit it was 1:50? If Aqua isn't at Virgo's soon then she is going to think that she ditched. She had to tell the truth, Scorpio had a wicked sense of being able to tell when he is being lied to. He got closer to her lips to prove his point.
She couldn't move her head back, the wall prevented her from doing so. He leaned in further until he was only inches from her lips, his black hair fell across his forehead. "Wait." Aqua gave in. "
Aww don't tell me to stop now, I was getting to the good stuff. He gave a fake disappointed smile.
Aqua hadn't realized his body was pressing against hers, he was warm, it made her want to get closer but she pushed those feelings down.
"Me and Virgo were planning to run away." Aqua slumped and stopped resisting.
He was so going to tell on them. "Oh I know, I overheard your conversation this morning, and I want in." Scorpio let out a smirk. He didn't dare let go of Aquarius's wrists.
"You know? Yet you're doing this to me?" You're such a pervert!" Aqua shot a disgusted look at him. "Can you let me go now?" Aqua begged slightly.
"Hmm I don't know, I think I like it like this." He let out his seductive voice again.
Aqua was going to admit he was hot and she's had a long term crush on him but that wasn't going to stop her. She about to yell at him but in an instant his hands dropped and slid into his pockets
"Well let's go." Scorpio raised his eyebrows "or do you want more?" Aqua scoffed, grabbed her bag, and lightly jogged to Virgo's house, the snow crunching softly .
She softly knocked the window which then opened in a hurry, the warm air inside kissed her face.
"Finally, I thought you were ditching, why is he here and why are you blushing?" Virgo made a grossed out face at Scorpio.
"It's just the cold, don't worry about it." Aquarius lied.
He gave her a deceiving yet charming smile. Aqua explained why Scorpio was here. Virgo jumped out her window and shut it. "You ready to die?" Virgo shivered at the cold. "Always." Aqua smiled. Scorpio stayed silent but gave Aqua a side glance with a wink. Aqua tried so hard to ignore it. The three then began walking out of the village and into the new world before them.
