Chapter 11: diamond

I look at my watch and notice its 12:57 and the library is about to close usually I don't stay out this late judging by the fact I have to walk and people crazy but I needed the laptop to finish my project for my science class so I had no choice so I pick my books up and my iPhone and head to the librarian miss kosh and tell her goodnight she's a middle aged black woman with gray hair who kids say is mean and grouchy but she loves me and this one other little girl who died she was her favorite.goodnight baby you be careful in these street you here I can't lose my other favorite girl to the same thing that took my other one I look at her and say I hear you miss kosh  I carry that mace and taser you gave me last Christmas everywhere I go its in this here pocket.she look at me and smile and say okay baby I believe you now you just make sure you use it need be now you get on outta here go home  I said yes ma'am told her be safe also and went on my way home I plugged in my earphones put the volume on low knowing how people crazy and try to sneek up on you so I kept it low and played my favorite song run it up by marissa  ft lucci ''you keep me decked out in the latest taking me to new places got me calling my friends like damn he's the greatest said love is overrated sober its like I'm faded and the way you make me feel got me elevated''.I love this song I continue strolling with my arms in my Nike hoodie until I get to the alley I pass through everyday on my way home and notice a BODY on the ground it looks like a man and he look dead and I never seen a dead body before something tells me to keep walking then my mind I know for a fact is telling me to call 911 and then I think no no no what if they think I had something to do with it what am I doing out so late so I take a deep breath a long hard swallow and pray to god he's not dead but hurt enough he can't harm me because I WILL tase his ass.
