Chapter 605

“Did you accept it?” Chadwick asked sinisterly.

Mandy replied coldly, “The Pendletons don’t mistreat me when it comes to money. Why would I accept his check?”

Chadwick was pleased with Mandy’s response. He immediately transferred some money to her. “Take this and treat yourself to a handbag!”

A mere Warner Group meant nothing before the Pendletons. There was no need to show off to them.

“I told Bradley that if he wants my support, he should make Esther marry you and marry me. If he can’t make that happen, there’s no deal!”

Chadwick chuckled and clapped his hands. “Well done! Come, let me introduce you to my friends.”

Mandy looked at the group of men with Chadwick and concealed her displeasure. She sweetly greeted them.

“Guys, meet my sister. Look out for her!”

“Of course!”

Mandy felt disgusted by these men’s presence. Nevertheless, she put on a facade and raised her glass to toast with them. In her mind, she couldn’t wait for the Pendletons’ downfall.

Suddenly, her phone rang. She checked the unread message.

X asked her to take some photos of Chadwick with the other men and send them to Jasper. Although she didn’t understand why, she obediently followed the instructions and took several pictures.

“Can I go now?”

One of the men, who appeared to have some health issues, offered to drive Mandy home. “Chadwick, I’ll take her back.”

“Alright.”

Mandy didn’t refuse and got into the car.

Once inside, the man began to touch her inappropriately.

Mandy slapped him hard across the face.

Who did he think he was?

Even though Bradley might be flawed in some ways, at least he was good-looking!

“You b*tch! Do you believe I’ll teach you a lesson right here?”

Mandy sneered. “You better not embarrass my brother. Otherwise, you’ll face the consequences.”

Mandy hailed a taxi on the side of the road and returned to her villa.

After freshening up, she noticed a message from Jasper.

Jasper: [?]

She thought momentarily before replying.

Mandy: [Are they using drugs?]

Jasper forwarded the photos Mandy sent him to Oliver, who immediately sensed something was off. An almost insane plan began to form in Oliver’s mind.

Oliver: [I understand. I’ll investigate further on my end. I’ll let you know if there’s any good news.]

With Felix around, Bradley and Esther had shifted from their previous hostility to a harmonious and warm relationship.

“Mommy, I had two servings of lunch today!”

Felix, always concerned about Bradley’s health, dutifully finished his meals and focused on his studies.

“You’re amazing!” Esther praised him and tousled his hair. “My son is the best in the world!”

“My mommy is the best mommy in the world!”

Felix and Esther exchanged compliments.

Bradley was sitting on the sofa, handling Warner Group’s business affairs. He felt jealous while listening to their interaction.
