Jasper clapped for Bradley’s remarks. “Warner, I applaud you.”

Bradley’s eyes were sinister. “Stop with the sarcasm.”

“It’s quite surprising you even know the term sarcasm.” Jasper scoffed. “You and I are men. As a proper man, shouldn’t you ensure your wife and child have nothing to worry about?”

Jasper did not mince his words and taunted Bradley.

“Boasting in front of women is pointless!

“Chadwick has repeatedly threatened Esther, demanding she marry him in exchange for Mandy’s liver donation to you.

“Bradley, even if you don’t want Mandy’s liver, you should still confront Chadwick!

“Do you believe he’s interested in Esther just because of her looks?

“If you’re a true man, you should fight for your wife and child like a warrior! Don’t merely try to impress your romantic rival!

“Do you have any other plans besides asking Esther to block my number?

“Arguing with someone as arrogant as you makes me appear inferior!”

After saying what he wanted to say, Jasper slowly stood up. He looked at the fuming Bradley and spoke calmly. “If you want to die, do it somewhere far away! Don’t taint Esther and Felix’s eyes!”

With that, he walked out of the hospital room in long strides.

Esther gazed at Jasper with worry etched on her face. When she noticed no signs of a fight, she sighed in relief.

“Esther, I’m leaving now. I’ll keep an eye on Mandy,” Jasper informed her.

“Alright,” Esther replied hesitantly.

Kevin glanced at Bradley from inside the hospital room and saw that he appeared unwell. He automatically shifted his gaze to Esther, fearing Bradley might take out his anger on her once more.

Kevin thought, ‘This is bad! Bradley will surely vent his frustration on Esther again!’

Bradley’s cold and piercing gaze fixed on Esther outside the hospital room.

“Come in!” he commanded.

Kevin was on the verge of advising Esther not to go in, but she swiftly entered “Close the door,” Bradley instructed.

Esther complied, preventing Kevin from prying.

Esther said, “Bradley,!-”

Bradley approached Esther with heavy steps, causing her to take a step backward instinctively. She tried to voice her explanation, but her words remained trapped.

With crossed arms and a sneer, Bradley looked at Esther and taunted, “Do you want to explain?”

Esther nervously bit her lip and whispered, “Jasper and I just went to see Mandy-”

Bradley abruptly grabbed Esther by her delicate neck and pinned her against the wall, causing her to lose contact with the floor slowly.

“Esther Quill! Your web of lies is revolting!” Bradley barked.

Esther’s eyes welled up from the tight grip on her neck, and she sobbed. “Bradley, I was wrong! I won’t do it again, I promise!”

Bradley leaned in dominantly and kissed Esther passionately.
