âDo you have clearer photos?â Bradley asked.
âMr. Warner, you should give me the corresponding reward since Iâve provided you with the information.
As for the rest, thatâs another price.â
Bradley let out a light scoff. âBank account,â he said.
In the next moment, an overseas account number arrived in Bradleyâs email. He smoothly transferred a considerable amount of money to the account.
âIâve received the reward, Mr. Warner.â The womanâs voice sounded happy. âMrs. Warner is looking for her daughter, Pixie, overseas. If you want to know her whereabouts 24/7, thereâs an additional price.â
âHas she found Pixie?â Bradley asked.
Bradley was surprised. He thought Esther had faked her death and escaped from him because she enjoyed opposing him. Little did he know that she was actually looking for Pixie overseas. âNot sure for now. Do you want me to continue tracking her?â the woman asked.
âYes. I donât want her to disappear from your sight,â Bradley replied.
âUnderstood,â the woman said with a delightful smile. âIâll continue sending other photos to your email.
Itâs been a pleasure working with you, Mr. Warner.â
Bradley tossed his phone aside, and his tired gaze fell on the photo frame on his desk. It was a family portrait of him, Esther, and Felix.
Esther had faked amnesia to lower his guard and take Felix away from him. She had barged. into his world without permission, disrupted everything, and then wanted to leave.
Who gave her the audacity to trample on his dignity?
He had warned her that he would imprison her by his side if she did it again. He would strip her of her freedom forever.
Bradleyâs dark gaze fell on Estherâs beautiful face in the photo. He realized why he had been unable to find any information about her, even after offering a large reward. He had even suspected whether she was dead. It turned out that she had deceived everyone with her amazing disguise skills.
A burning flame rose in Bradleyâs heart.
Bradley ordered, âGet me a flight. I need to go abroad now.â
He had originally planned to wait for Esther to fall into his trap, but now he wanted to capture her himself. He wanted to tear off her disguise, strip away her clothes, and see her for who she really was.
âYes, Mr. Warner,â his assistant replied.
Bradley put on his coat and left his office, but several well-dressed men stopped him.
âMr. Warner, weâre auditors whoâve been ordered to audit the Warner Groupâs past ten years of financial records,â one of the men said.
Bradley raised an eyebrow. âThe finance director will be responsible for the audit,â he said coldly.
The finance director hurried over to Bradley, sweating profusely. âMr. Warner, you canât leave the country or the city during the audit,â he stammered.
A dark glint flashed in Bradleyâs eyes.
âThe Quills are going to such extremes to stop me from finding Esther,â he thought. âVery well. Weâll see how long they can keep me here.â
