Anna and the children were shocked when Esther suddenly fainted. Anna supported Esther, brought her back to the castle, and urgently asked the butler to call the family doctor.

Sunshine quickly took out a glistening lollipop from her bag and gently fed it to Esther.” Mommy, this candy is sweet!”

“Thank you, Sunshine.”

Anna was relieved to see Esther awake. She did not doubt Esther’s explanation of low blood sugar and said, “As long as you’re alright, we can have dinner now.”

“Sure.”

Soon, the four of them had dinner at the dining table.

Felix and Sunshine were very well-behaved children. They were not picky eaters and ate their meals attentively. Esther and Anna ended up eating more than they intended, watching the kids eat so well.

Esther and Anna took a leisurely stroll in the courtyard.

She thought of the blue flower she saw before fainting and curiously asked, “Anna, do you like tattoos?”

Anna touched the small blue flower on her and said softly, “Are you talking about this blue iris?”

“Yes.”

Anna suddenly became sentimental and said, “The blue iris was my deceased lover’s favorite flower. I got it tattooed here to make it feel like he’s always by my side.”

Anna then pointed to a distant flower field and forced a smile. “It’s not the right season now, but you’ll see a vast sea of blooming blue irises if you come in spring. It’s beautiful, especially when the wind blows, creating a brilliant floral wave.”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t know…” Esther said.

Esther didn’t understand why she suddenly felt a headache when she saw that tattoo. However, inadvertently triggering Anna’s sorrowful story made her feel guilty.

“Esther, it’s alright. Everyone has their own secrets,” Anna said with a smile.

“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with not having children. I have an unwavering love and am happier than anyone else.
