Volume 1 Chapter 48.1: Victory!

When Wen Yang woke up, he found himself in Lin Li’s small villa, nearly drained out of his vitality. And despite finding the act of being kidnapped to be terrifying, Wen Yang had actually enjoyed himself, and if his body could have endured more, he might not have wanted to leave at all.

This was the plot in the erotic novel. But Ning Chu hadn’t expected Lin Li to invite him to join in, to help drain Wen Yang together. Wasn’t this a bit too extreme?

Ning Chu almost lost his composure, shaking his head vigorously and refusing Lin Li’s suggestion again. He declared righteously, “He’s drunk. I need to take him back to the dorm!”

Scanning the area, he noticed that the two male students had almost put Wen Yang into Lin Li’s car.

“Hey! Don’t put Wen Yang in her car! Just leave him here!”

Ning Chu felt the cold, displeased gaze from behind him, making his heart tremble. This female supporting character was not as easy to deal with as the previous ones.

Able to drug, kidnap, and forcefully drag the boy she liked into a car, this girl might be classified as a yandere, right?

Fortunately, this was just an erotic novel, not a slasher film. It was risqué but had no bloody elements. Lin Li probably wouldn’t do anything excessively outrageous…

“Don’t be like that~” Lin Li smiled sweetly, whispering in Ning Chu’s ear, “Don’t spoil my fun~”

The two male students hesitated, looking back and forth between Lin Li and Han Jingye.

Following their gaze, Ning Chu looked at the counselor. He realized he wasn’t a match for this mischievous fox-woman and needed some outside support.

Reluctantly, he asked for help, “Counselor! I’m here now, let me take care of Wen Yang, okay?”

He really didn’t want to get involved with Han Jingye if he could help it.

“Counselor~ I have a car, it’ll be more convenient if I were to take him back to the dorm.”

Sly fox! Are you really taking him back to the dorm? Even a blind person would know you are lying!

Han Jingye was a bit confused, looking between Ning Chu and Lin Li. Though they were clearly a boy and a girl, together they looked like a pair of young maiden fighting over a man in broad daylight.

“Counselor, she can only drop Wen Yang off at the dorm entrance. As a girl, she can’t bring him upstairs.”

“I–I have a car!”

That’s your only advantage!

“If you were to take him using your car, many people would spread gossip about you.”

The students had stopped eating, watching the scene with amused expressions.

Han Jingye didn’t think much of it. Ning Chu’s identity as Wen Yang’s roommate settled the matter. “Ning Chu, you do it. I’ll feel more at ease.”

“Exactly!”

With the counselor’s endorsement, Ning Chu grinned victoriously. He glanced at Lin Li smugly and then ran across the street to the Sichuan restaurant to borrow a small cart.

Once again, he had successfully thwarted the plot!

It was too close. Luckily, he had decided to check on Wen Yang on a whim. The timing was perfect. If he had been even a little earlier or later, Wen Yang would have been in trouble tonight.

Indeed, Wen Yang must not be left out of sight!

A slight lapse and all previous efforts would have been in vain.

With the help of his classmates, Wen Yang was placed limply on the small cart. Ning Chu, steeling himself against Lin Li’s murderous gaze, pushed the cart away from the food stall.

So terrifying…

Once they were far from the food stall, Ning Chu realized his back was soaked with sweat. He wiped the sweat from his forehead, exhaling deeply, and looked down at Wen Yang on the cart.

“Despite the huge commotion, he has no reaction at all. Last time he woke up just from hearing a bit of water splashing.”

If Wen Yang wasn’t still breathing, Ning Chu might have suspected the protagonist was about to exit this world prematurely.

He took out his phone and called his roommate.
