Nora looked at Justin and was about to say something when Cherry and Pete ran out of the room.

The two came out and saw Queenie first. They rushed forward and hugged Queenie’s leg. Cherry’s little voice was full of tears. “Where have you been, don’t you love me anymore? They said something had happened to you. I was so worried.”

After experiencing such deadly events, when Queenie returned to the house and saw both Royce and John, she felt a sense of closeness. However, when she saw Cherry, whom she had cared for since birth, an indescribable fear suddenly arose in her heart.

If she really died, she would never see Cherry again.

Queenie hugged her and her eyes instantly turned red. “Don’t worry. I won’t leave you again.”

Cherry nodded and held her hand tightly. “You have to keep your word!”

Pete and Queenie didn’t have a deep relationship, but after being together for the last two days, the little boy was also very worried about Queenie. He carefully examined her up and down and only nodded when he saw that she was safe and sound.

When Nora saw the two children, she looked back in confusion. “Where’s Xander?”

“He said he’s tired. He’s sleeping.”

Pete was really worried. “Mommy, go see him, is he sick again?”

Hearing Pete’s words, Nora nodded. She walked out of the room and up the stairs. She pushed open Xander’s door and saw a small lump on the bed. She walked over and coughed, “Xander, I’ve come to see you.”

Xander was different from the other two boys. Xander had a sensitive nature and was a child. Because of this, whenever Nora approached him, she would warn him ahead of time.

However, Xander did not sit up as usual. Instead, he continued to lie down. Nora’s heart sank-could it be that Xander was really very sick?

She hurried over to the bed and lifted the blanket. However, she noticed that there was no one in the bed. The blanket was just empty. Xander wasn’t there.

Nora was puzzled.

Then, her phone suddenly rang. She answered it and Trueman’s voice came on the other end. “Why do you think I raised Xander, do you think the relationship between Xander and I for the last five years was just an act?”

“Nora, Barbarian and the mysterious organization weren’t my biggest cards up my sleeve. My biggest card is Xander.”

Nora clenched her fists suddenly. “Xander won’t betray me!”

After being with the boy for so long, Nora knew Xander’s character all too well.

Although he seemed clumsy and yelled about fighting and killing, he was actually very kind. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have tried to save all those little animals.

Xander had real feelings for her and Justin!

Trueman smiled, “Yes, he’s always been a kind boy. Over the years, I haven’t let him down. So, what would he do when he finds out that only V16 can treat his father’s illness?”

Nora suddenly realized something. She ran to Queenie’s room and saw that the box with the V16 was empty. the V16 inside was gone!!!!!
